This place has a wide variety of dishes to pick from. Pre COVID, their prices were extremely affordable. It was amazing to me that I could get 2 phos and egg rolls for a little more than $20. Understandably they had to raise prices due to the current economic circumstances. I've been here more than 10 times over the years and I can say that the flavor and service have been consistent. It's not extremely to die for deliciousness, but it definitely satisfies the pho craving. It sucks for the workers who had to continue working in person when COVID was rampant and I give them major props for not lowering their quality despite the issues associated with COVID and people who were adamant about eating in person. Since COVID, I have only ordered for pick up or delivery and was never dissatisfied with my order. On top of that, they have always been open during late hours. First off - SERVICE SUUUUUUUUUCKS. We came in and were seated right away around 8pm. Took forever for them to take our order, and even longer to get our food. Typically when I order pho at restaurants it takes maybe 10 minutes max to come out since all they need to do is boil noodles and scoop the broth. However, we didn't get our food till 8:50. Like bruh, 50 minutes? We were starving and it didn't help that we were pretty much neglected the whole time. Our water had no ice whatsoever so it was warm. We asked for ice but our waiter forgot. This is solely on the "customer service." Notice the quotation marks. I'm sure the food is good; but after what transpired, I could not bring myself to try the food. On Monday 12/17, I placed a party tray order of chicken wings. An older gentleman was very helpful in scheduling a pickup for 6:15p on Wednesday 12/19 as I had told him it was for my company's potluck holiday party scheduled for 6:30p. He even took my name and number down and confirmed with me by looking at the date on his cell phone. I was impressed. You can tell right away if someone has people skills. The older gentleman definitely had it. Wednesday comes, and I set out early to avoid traffic and because I assumed they'll most likely have my order ready before I arrive at the designated time. I arrive at 6:10p, and said I was there to pickup an order. I was hoping to see the same older gentleman from Monday, but he was not there. A male employee told me it's not ready yet. Understandable. 6:15p comes. No order. 6:18p comes. Someone comes in and picks up a to-go order. The lady at the counter gives him his order. At first I think it's weird but whatever. 6:21p comes. Another order is placed on queue for pickup for Josh. No lady, I'm not Josh. At this point I'm a bit concerned. 6:21-6:30p all the while patrons get seated, their food is prepared and brought out to them. Now for sure I know something was wrong. I asked the lady at the counter if they forgotten my order to which she replied by saying "Let me check, what did you order?" This confirmed my suspicion that they didn't even know who I was, and that they had completely forgotten about my order. 6:35p the male employee who told me my order wasn't ready yet decides to eat dinner/take a break; the counter lady tells me my order will be ready in 5 mins (that was a lie). I guess my order wasn't as important to them as it was to me. 6:35-6:50p I sat and waited. And waited. And seethed. Questioned my life decision about being a patron to this restaurant, thinking I should've just asked for my money back. But I couldn't since I had already promised my coworkers what I ordered. This whole time, I was not asked if I wanted any water to drink. Nothing. Nothing was done to correct or amend their mistake. Basically, I was not comped for their blunder. I was avoided the whole time. I would have avoided myself too (my friends tell me I have that stoic anger look). 6:50p I receive my order with an apology from counter lady. I was too mad and too late to dinner to address her. I just grabbed my order and bolted out the door. Would I recommend this place? No. Not for party trays. I asked what is most popular which I think was the #9. It basically a Pho with a variety of beef. I got the #25 it was a Pho with Shrimp and it was so good. This is definitely the place I'm coming to when I'm sick. The flavor is there. The portion size is good. It's nice that they have a small and large bowl but I can easily get full off of a small. They give you a side of mint, lime, bean sprouts, and jalapeño. The customer service is great. The waiters are really nice and actually have a conversation or crack a joke with you to break the ice.
