Pho Dang is easily one of my favorite bowls of pho so far. Open as early as 8:30 a.m. and serving late into the night on weekends until 10:30 p.m., it truly feels like late night comfort done right. The restaurant is warm and inviting, with bright tables and simple wood décor that makes it feel casual but welcoming. Service was quick and efficient. Menus were dropped, water followed immediately, and my pho arrived in under five minutes. I ordered the PHỞ CHÍN BÒ VIÊN with brisket and beef balls for $21.90 and added fresh flat noodles (PHỞ BÁNH TƯƠI) for an extra $2.50. You can add oxtail for an additional cost, which I skipped this time but will definitely consider on a future visit. The pho itself easily lands in my top ten, maybe even top five bowls in the area. The fresh flat noodles were a big plus, but the real standout was the brisket. It was incredibly tender, flavorful, and generously portioned. The beef balls lined the rim of the bowl and were not skimpy at all. The broth was excellent, well balanced, rich without being heavy, and served piping hot. It came with all the usual vegetables, including steaming bean sprouts, which added to the overall comfort of the dish. I also ordered an iced Vietnamese coffee, which unfortunately missed the mark for me. It tasted burnt and lacked the smoothness I usually expect. It came out in a to go cup already iced, which I liked, but the flavor just wasn't there compared to other spots. To round out the meal, I ordered the egg rolls, which were fantastic. Crispy and flavorful, they were served with fresh butter lettuce, mint, and nuoc mam sauce, making them a great complement to the pho. It has a distinct flavor compared to places like Pho Papa or Pho 21, but it's on a higher level. One nice touch was the bamboo straws with the water, which I thought was a great plus. On the downside, the condiments were lacking. I noticed that both my table and others had to request Hoisin and Sriracha sauces, as they weren't provided on the table. While I understand they aim to highlight the original Northern-style pho, it might be better to have the condiments available if more than half of the guests are asking for them.
