First time trying and now it's our favorite spot. Both styles are very good! Had the beef stir fry and then brisket + eyeround. The only thing is that other places have bigger portions. Service was great, our server was really nice and helped us choose. The inside is clean and the presentation of the dishes & the basil is very classy.

Came here with some pals for lunch, this was my first time, but they rated it highly - they weren't wrong! :) I'm all about the depth of flavor and notes when it comes to broth, and this place is doing it proper. They have a northern and a southern style, I tried the #7 [special north style pho with everything] with the thicker noodles and was not disappointed - great flavors, proper noodles, and plenty of meat and greens. The service was quick! We had our meals in front of us within minutes of sitting down, and as expected, our water cup was never empty. The place has a good amount of seating, which is good because they have a good amount of patrons there eating! That said, they were handling business like pros, things were moving quick and they keep the place clean. I'll certainly return, and I hope to see you there! :)

Came here for a late bite after a pickleball session. Its got a cute little ambience and limited but efficient menu. I got the no.7 Pho , It was good. My biggest gripe about the experience was service. The lady was nice and courteous but the guy working here was always angry. When we entered , I asked him if I could sit on a different table than what was being assigned and the look he had on his face made me wonder if I shouldn't have asked for it. Later, I asked him if I could get a fork - he gave me a look and asked me to wait , took his own sweet time cleaning the next table and then gave the fork while I waited with my Pho next to me. Not sure if he was just having a bad day or if this is the level of service he dishes out to all customers. Overall - Good Pho , Not so Good Service !

Had my doubts about an aesthetic social media vibe pho restaurant but it hits the spot! We had to try the northern style pho since they described it as having more of a spice flavor. I haven't tried their southern style to compare, but the broth is a deep and rich/spiced broth. I highly recommend the flat noodles since they're super soft and melts in your mouth. Meat is not fatty and is plentiful unlike some pho places and you won't be disappointed. We live near a couple of pho restaurants but will usually go out of our way to come to this one! Get some che a couple doors down for a complete meal :)

Was in the area and friends wanted to meet up to grab a bite and this place popped up on my Yelp. The stellar reviewed drew my attention and decided to give this place a try. (Also the nice modern decor). There's ample parking in a huge plaza with lots of other popular choices as all the spots I saw had long lines. They serve both northern style and southern style pho and took me a long minute to figure out the difference and realized I'm used to the southern pho and decided to order #7 northern pho special with side order of oxtail and am so happy I decided to give it a try. For starters their pho felt more like art than food. The attention to detail from the bowl of pho on the bottom to the condiment plate connected on top to the sauce plate on the very top. Also this is the first pho place that has grass fed beef and their soup is amazing. I also ordered a side of oxtail which was pretty good. And because I had my toddler with me, she got a free kid bowl of pho. Overall: service amazing, pho amazing im a fan :) the service was really above and beyond. Oh one last amazing thing, you get to keep the sweet basil and the bottle that comes w it as your plant. They will even refill the bottle to your satisfaction. The person that opened this spot up really put a lot of thought into this. I'm impressed!

They don't accept cash! This pho place is very good. I really enjoyed my pho. I got filet mignon, brisket, and tendon in my southern style broth pho. They offer northern style broth too, but I prefer the southern style since it's lighter and less fatty. The meat they use is very high quality. I liked how hot the broth was and how hot it stayed throughout my meal even after adding the fresh raw veggies. For $15, they surely packed a lot of meat in the pho. I will definitely return.

One of my favorite places to get pho in Garden Grove! It's always super clean and there's usually never a wait. If there is one, spots open up quickly. I decided to get the keto noodle this time and it was so yummy! They have a three stack tier bowl which makes everything look very organized and neat.

Found this on yelp after our Disneyland trip. We ordered the Northen and Southern style pho. It came in a cute bowl, that had 3 tier, your soup, veggies and sirachi/hoisen sauce. Both broths were delicious, but I prefer Northen style. Will be back soon!

This place is so cute, and I love how you can pick Northern or Southern type pho bowls! The basil is so nice, too (love how it comes with the meal, as well as how the tops of the pho bowls come with the sauces-photo attached)! It's all too cute here, and the pho was delicious. We will be back!

Came to Pho Flavor and really enjoyed it. Ordered the pho with northern style broth, southern style noodles, brisket, flank, and filet mignon, as well as the seafood eggrolls. The pho was served in this unique double layered pot - broth and noodles on the bottom, while the bean sprouts, jalapeños, and other veggies were on top. I appreciated how they didn't give so many veggies as well which really avoided waste. The pho was solid and tasted pretty high quality. The seafood eggrolls were delicious too, and it's pretty rare to see that on a menu, so loved that as well. Cozy and casual spot with good service. No negative notes, and would definitely come back!

Came here on a Saturday night around 10 pm since we were driving back to LA from Oceanside. Plenty of parking in the large plaza. We were greeted and seated immediately but most tables in the quaint space were taken and there seemed to be a waitlist not too long before we arrived. I've only gotten to try northern style pho once before so I was excited to have the opportunity again. My boyfriend and I ordered the cha gio egg roll appetizer ($9) and we each got the #5 pho tai chin northern style ($15.00). They put a little glass bottle of water on your table with mint sprigs that you can take home!! You better believe I took it home lol. Food was ready fast. The egg rolls were the ones with typical golden wrapper (not the rice paper ones which are my favorite) and they were a bit on the smaller side. They also only provided a small amount of mint and 3 small flower shaped cut out pickled radishes and 3 of the same for carrots. A bit disappointing that there wasn't more veg because I love adding it but the egg rolls themselves were super flavorful and had large chunks of shrimp inside. The pho was served in a big fancy ceramic container with matching bowl plates stacked on top that contained veg (bean sprouts, jalapeños, limes) and sauce (sriracha and hoisin). You could definitely tell the soup was different than the typical southern style. More spices and very savory! I poured half of my sauce inside and dipped the meat and noodles into the remaining sauce. There was so much meat! We were able to finish everything but were stuffed. We paid at the counter and used the restroom and were out in less than an hour. Pretty inexpensive and definitely worth it! Would come again.

First time trying northern style Pho and I was in love. My girlfriend and I came by for a late dinner on the way home from SD on a Saturday. We were sat immediately when we arrived thankfully as the restaurant was almost at capacity. The inside is a bit small that may struggle to sit parties more than 6 but it's still well decorated and featured a couple tvs playing some kpop. Our pho bowls came out only a few minutes after ordering which was nice as we were hungies. The ceramic aesthetic of the bowls were so cute, and even better that they held a generous portion. We did order large size pho soups, but even still they were not stingy with the brisket which I appreciated. Their broth was certainly nice and beefy, savory, and was of course even better with their add-ins ( siracha, hoisin, bean sprouts, and Thai basil) . We scraped our bowls quickly and would certainly return if ever in the area. The prices were fair and quality was great! The staff is friendly, and efficient. If ever in the area, I'm sure we'd consider returning for another pho fix :)

First time at the Garden Grove Pho Flavor--closer to home, and somehow better than Fountain Valley if that's possible. I love the Northern Style Pho (flat silky noodles with a dark, rich, complex broth)--I ordered the Pho Tai LAN with garlic fried ribeye--spectacularly garlicky (now vampire proof for 24 hrs)! My spouse got the southern style #5 Pho Tai Chin. We ordered a free side of white onions to split Friendly efficient service The presentation is adorable Super generous meat in each serving Clean bright space Plenty of parking

The chicken was crispy and the dipping sauce gave it that extra yummy goodness. The dish also came with a side of broth that had chicken bits in it, was nice to help digest your dish. I also loved that they gave you pickled veggies & fresh veggies. We also ordered the Loi's Fusion Saltado, upgraded the rice to garlic egg fried rice. The beef was soft and tender, the fries were nice and crispy and the fried rice was fresh. You 100% need to get the Thai Tea. A lot of place add too much cream/half and half diluting the tea flavor, they do not skimp on the actual tea in their drink. The color speaks for itself on the dark orange hue!

I'm a bit late getting around to writing this, and unfortunately, they are already closed, but I still felt like I had to share my experience. I'm not completely surprised that they closed, especially after trying their bò né. I've had this dish many times at different places around Orange County, and unfortunately, this was probably the weakest version I've come across. The first thing that stood out was the presentation. As you can see in the picture, there was this purple-colored sauce on the meat itself, which honestly did not look very appetizing. To make things worse, the sauce was cold and did not heat in time with the skillet, which really took away from the experience. The flavor itself wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't anything memorable. It was just okay, and when you factor in the cold food and the presentation, it made the whole dish disappointing. With so many places around Orange County serving bò né at a much higher level, I would probably recommend spending your money elsewhere. If you were wondering whether you missed out on some hidden gem, don't worry, you didn't. This one felt more like a piece of coal than a diamond. That being said, every restaurant has its journey, and with more time, maybe they could have found their footing. Hopefully, they can take this experience as a lesson, refine their recipes, and bring something better in their next venture. I am rooting for you Loi!

Tip: If you order through the app, you can skip the wait and get a free garlic noodle. I think it's only for your first order on the app, though, and I'm not sure how long the deal lasts. Wings -- 3/5 The wings were okay, but pretty mediocre. I got one flat and three drumettes, which was a little disappointing. The flavor and crispiness were both kind of lacking, and I ate them fresh too. The seasoning reminded me of that lobster green onion sauce you'd get at a Vietnamese-Chinese restaurant. Spicy Vietnamese Chicken Sandwich -- 4/5 The sandwich was definitely better. The chicken had a good crisp to it, but sadly, it was overfried and wasn't cooked evenly. The edges were noticeably darker than the center, and the chicken itself was thinner than I expected. The sauce didn't taste like anything particularly special either--it was giving spicy mayo, if anything. The vegetables and pickles made the sandwich taste similar to another famous chicken sandwich place. I actually liked it overall, but because the chicken wasn't fried evenly, I'd give it a 4/5. Garlic Noodles The garlic noodles were okay. They definitely had a lot of garlic, but I didn't think the cheese on top was necessary. It kind of ruined it for me. I won't rate this one since it was free, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Service wasn't bad. It was super busy when I went, so I had to wait a little longer than the estimated pickup time. There's ample seating inside, although the AC was kind of lacking. Overall, I'd probably come back for the chicken sandwich and give it another try, especially if a friend wanted to go. I wouldn't really recommend the other items I tried, though.

However, the star of the meal for me was the chả giò. Wow. Although they arrived after our pho, they came out at the perfect temperature. I was hesitant to take a bite right away because freshly fried food usually burns my mouth, but these were just right. Crispy, airy, savory, and absolutely delicious. From the moment it hit the table, I could smell how rich and flavorful the broth was. You can tell it wasn't rushed--it tasted like it had been simmering for hours. Every spoonful was comforting, packed with depth, and had the perfect balance of savory flavors. The beef was unbelievably tender, practically melting in my mouth, and the noodles had the perfect bite. This is the kind of meal that reminds you why pho is one of the best comfort foods out there. What really impressed me was the freshness of everything. The herbs were vibrant, the bean sprouts had a great crunch, the jalapeños added the perfect kick, and a squeeze of lime brought the entire bowl together. Every ingredient complemented the broth instead of overpowering it. I found myself slowing down just to enjoy every bite because it was that good. By the time I finished, I was honestly wishing there was another bowl waiting for me. The service and atmosphere made the experience even better. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. It's always a bonus when great food is matched by great hospitality. Pho Redbo has officially earned a spot on my list of favorite pho restaurants, and I already know I'll be back to try more of the menu. If you're searching for a pho spot that delivers on flavor, freshness, and overall experience, don't sleep on this place--you'll leave happy and already planning your next visit.
