This is my go to spot for pho. Came here the other day and ordered the beef rib pho, which is my favorite dish on the menu. The beef rib is tender and has lots of meat in it while the broth is flavorful and scolding hot, just the way I like it. Usually, for my drink, I get the pineapple juice. It's very refreshing. However, this time around, I ordered a can of Dr. Pepper. That was a mistake. It was flat. In fact, my wife's can of Coke was flat too. Ownership may want to check the expiration date on their can of sodas. Next time I'm here, I'll stick to the pineapple juice. That never disappoints. The service here is fantastic. All the workers are very nice and attentive. The food comes out very quickly. I also like that I can go up to the counter and immediately pay for my meal after I'm done eating. Allows me to zip in and out of there. Prior to discovering this restaurant, I had never had pho before. This is the place that got me into the dish so it holds a special place in my heart.

01/18/2026 - In Gardena there are many pho restaurants. This restaurant has plenty of seating and is very clean. Great for one or a group. The service was very nice and friendly. The pho broth is great. Very flavorful. Plenty of meat in the bow as well. Also the regular is reasonably priced in my opinion.

Enjoying the cooler weather, just not the earlier darkness that comes with the time change. Makes me feel like I'm eating later and always has me feeling like I want to hibernate. Add them together and It's Pho/Ramen weather to me. It's why I ended up here at Pho Hoan. This place is on the corner of Normandie and Redondo. Huge parking lot - where the 99 Cent store was (it's closed). I don't know how it is on the weekends but during the week (the other day), tons of parking. Service was what I have come to expect when eating at a Vietnamese restaurant though I heard the staff conversing in a different language. Ordered, food served. Walked up to the counter to pay. No interaction. I'd say staff was present but other than one of the staff, possibly the manager or owner, who was sitting at one of the tables yell out to me to sit anywhere - there wasn't much exchange with anyone else other than ordering and paying. Food was decent. See pics. Grabbed a Spring Roll and Pho Dac Biet. Everything was as expected - just wish I asked for more onions. I saw some when first served, thinking there was more submerged, but found that, that wasn't the case. I love onions. Everything else was good enough. I liked the place but just felt off with the owner or manager just sitting at a table talking with someone else and yelling across the restaurant to customers walking in to seat themselves. It'll be what it'll be.

The food was pretty standard. Came here because my partner and I were sick and were craving pho. The vibes are very chill and casual. If you're looking for good vietnamese comfort food this is your place to visit. The line was crazy when we got here, but we got lucky that everyone was waiting for bigger tables and were able to be seated as soon as we walked in. The service was good. It would appear they were very very busy and may need to hire more people, but overall it was a great experience. I forgot to take a before picture of my filet pho I devoured it and realized oopsie!

Really good pho and very friendly service! Located in a shopping mall, there is plenty of parking and upon entering we were greeted and seated promptly. We ordered the house special pho which was PACKED with protein and the flavor was so delicious! We also got the shrimp spring rolls which were literally so thicc I was surprised they were able to wrap it so neatly. The service was also really great, even though it was pretty busy on a Wednesday night, they were so attentive and friendly :) Definitely would recommend!!

I decided to try this place since it's close to my house and I was craving pho. Me and my friends got pho, egg rolls and Vietnamese iced coffee. To be quite honest, the pho is kinda bland. I love my Vietnamese food and I'm very particular about my pho broths and this one didn't make the cut. The egg rolls were okay but it didn't come with the lettuce or anything on the side like they do at other pho places. Maybe they're more modernized? Idk but I like to wrap my egg rolls in lettuce. The star of the meal was honestly the iced coffee. I think I like my condensed milk ratio to be larger than the coffee.

Service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is busy but it's clean and they have their system down. The food was the superstar. I've had A LOT of pho, all over L.A. and the O.C. This is probably one of my favorites. The brisket in my pho was sliced thin and SUPER tender. The broth was absolutely delicious. The egg rolls were crunchy and flavorful. I can't wait to go back.

We have been coming here for years , probably since the start. Best Pho in all of L.A , their service is exceptional and they have gotten busier over the year, yet the quality is still there. Today I tried their Pandan tea leaf milk tea. Really good tea, it's nutty and perfectly sweetened . Definitely a go to for pho.

I was craving both ribs and pho, so this spot was perfect! I drove 2 hours to visit my cousin and was starving, so I told them to just pick a pho place. Since we were already down the street from this restaurant, we decided to try it. I ordered the pho with beef ribs.. exactly what I'd been craving! It came with two big, tender ribs and cost $18.99. The pho was good. I couldn't finish it all, so I took the soup and one rib to go and enjoyed it again the next day!

Flavor Budz Check in! It was freezing out, so my hubby and I craved something hot. Pho's our usual comfort food, and Pho Hoan was on our list. We went on Valentine's Day, which wasn't bad at all; usually, it's a madhouse everywhere. But hey, we took a chance and went in. Right away, Peter, the owner, was super nice and welcoming. The whole staff always yelled "WELCOME!" when anyone walked in. It was so cozy and family-friendly inside. The All-Star game was on in the back, and families were chatting away. There were kids, couples, and singles just enjoying dinner--it was awesome seeing everyone relaxing and hanging out. My hubby and I got Pho--he got shrimp and brisket, I just got brisket. The broth was amazing, not greasy at all, and the brisket was so tender! I ate the whole thing, which is HUGE for me! Ten out of ten. We totally recommend it! Big thanks to Peter and the whole crew--waitstaff and cooks, you guys are awesome and work so well together, it really shows!

My new favorite Pho restaurant!! We came in on a rainy day and the restaurant got filled shortly after we arrived. The food was so delicious and the service was amazing! What more do you want? They had the cutest rustic lights, love the decor as well! I highly recommend the steak and brisket pho, satay pho, grilled pork vermicelli, and their fried crunchy wontons! Our toddlers are super picky and they ate everything! Loved everything we will definitely be back!

Ask the Community - Pho Hoan Pasteur Gardena

    Are there gluten free options?

The Pho noodles are usually made from rice flour so they should be gluten free but verify with the restaurant.

Is their veggie vermicelli pho made from vegetable broth?

We only have satay broth which is peanut based broth with mild spice on it.

Is this restaurant dog friendly? I don't see any outdoor dining! Thank you!!

No it's not,no outdoor dining! It is small inside, i'm in a wheelchair and barely fit. But food is really good.

We ordered the xiao long bao, broccoli beef, beef rolls, and chicken chow mein. The xiao long bao was excellent with a good amount of soup in each dumpling, and the beef rolls were probably my favorite item, especially dipped in a mix of black vinegar and soy sauce. The broccoli beef had a nice flavor, though I wished it had a little more meat. The chicken chow mein was the weakest dish for me: the noodle texture was great, but the overall flavor didn't stand out as much as I expected. Ordering was easy and the menu was very approachable thanks to the pictures. The restaurant is on the smaller side, which actually made it easier to get a server's attention when needed. Food also came out pretty quickly. The ambiance is straightforward and comfortable -- nothing fancy, just a solid neighborhood restaurant. Because it's small, you may have to wait if it gets busy, but tables seemed to turn over quickly thanks to the fast service. One practical tip: the portion sizes are bigger than they look. We had a table for two and ended up with dishes crowding the table pretty quickly. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back.

They're typically very busy when we go on a weekday night. But once we got seated, service was fine. I usually get the pork wontons with chili oil. It's flavorful and it's actually not really spicy. We got the braised Xinjiang Market Chicken with sliced noodle. Very big portion. It had potatoes and bell peppers too. Noodles itself was good texture, but the overall dish lacked some flavor. I ended up dipping my noodles in the chili oil sauce from the wontons just to get more flavor in it. Good place to come for simple dishes. Overall pricing is reasonable as well.

For this visit, we ordered the following dishes (which started arriving within 10 minutes): Roast Duck: As expected, the duck skin was crispy, and the meat was plump, tender and nicely seasoned. Beef Chow Fun: The seasoning was super flavorful, and the glossy, but non-greasy sautéed thick rice noodles had a perfect texture. The beef pieces were tender, and the portion of bean sprouts was just right without overcrowding the dish. Wonton Soup Noodle: The thin noodles were perfectly al dente. The broth was light but flavorful. The wontons had nice thin wraps, and the fillings were well seasoned and with pleasantly firm consistence. We left the restaurant feeling 110% full and satisfied. Highly recommended.

We ordered the galbi combo with spicy tofu. Soup was under seasoned and inedible. The galbi was the cheapest flaken cut you can buy at the Korean market. Its was fatty and full of gristle and was not cooked and was raw in the middle. The staff in Korean were bad mouthing and so sour working there it was sad. If you under staffed and unhappy then go to the back and scream and cuss but Why are you so sour and make sure the customers can hear you while passing by with the food and complain it's too busy ? There was one elderly lady maybe in her 80s with possibly her two daughters. They were sitting there for at least 45 minutes when the waitress came up and said I just want to double check your order that's when they realized that the waitress didn't even put their order in they were saying in Korean that please don't leave. Granny is here and we will get the food out as soon as possible and yet as they were leaving the table, you can see them with a smirk on their face. It was disgusting. The worst part is isn't actually even over there must've been a table of 20 across from us celebrating a birthday and they were there before we were and they must have been served at least an hour after us and the waitresses were so rude to them. I felt so bad for that party, but they looked so laid-back. I don't know if they really even noticed or cared. We ended up trying to pay for 10 minutes to get out of there and finally just got our own containers from the weight station a plastic bag and as they saw that we were leaving they finally took our payment Maybe this was an off night maybe there was a different cook in the back maybe they were so busy that they just couldn't pay attention to flavor any of their food or cook it thoroughly. Maybe they were short and someone called in for staffing. All I know is everyone with the prior reviews seem to have great service and food, but this is definitely not what we experienced and definitely not what the table behind us or the table in front of experienced This was by far hands-down, the worst experience.
