The best pho I've ever tasted! My favorite is their satay pho with beef. I highly recommend it, but their regular beef and chicken pho are just as delicious. The main reason I am writing this review is to tell anyone reading that their egg rolls are the best ever... frfr the BEST. I've tried many egg rolls from many places and they're usually just okay. Not sure what is different about this place but please try them. When I crave egg rolls I crave Pho Hoan Pasteur egg rolls. Also, their chili oil is crazy (good), super spicy. I wanted to give this place a try because this chain is from Garden Grove so I had higher hopes of this place being good and authentic. The pho itself is pretty ok; the broth is visually very dark and the flavor is very savory. I tried placing an order for a Regular Pho Tai Chin and they said they only have the large size option for to go. This costs an extra dollar which was fine so I agreed. I was sooo disappointed when I opened up the plastic bowl and saw the tiny amount of noodles though. This is 100% NOT a normal "LARGE" size portion. I'm Viet and have eaten pho often throughout my life and the portion size they gave for the large was actually insane. Pho noodles are cheap and the amount I got was comparable to a small at any other restaurant or regular at most. I would have been less annoyed if they just marketed it as a regular pho with a $1 up-charge for ordering to go. They were also extremely skimpy on the bean sprouts and there was basically no mint or basil provided. The herbs are a necessity for pho and they did not even provide one proper stem of herbs (see pic!!). I ate my sad pho bowl but don't believe I'll be planning another trip back. read more

Love their pho. My favorite is Satay pho which is vegetarian. I either get it with tofu or the ribs. Then I give the ribs to my dog to chew on. He also gets some pho and whatever I get. Peter and his staff are always so welcoming and kind to use. Just the other day I went in and got the Satay pho and a beef rice plate. I brought in my dog to say hi. Peter hooked up my boy with the biggest bone we ever saw. When I gave it to my dog, he's eyes lit up! I definitely recommend this place for the food and their award winning service. This was the first time I've ever finished my bowl of pho so I had to write a review haha. I've never liked pho and after 27 yrs, my boyfriend has always tried to change my mind. Not sure if it's the noodles or the broth that normally doesn't sit well with me but this restaurant was perfection! the noodle didn't break apart as easily as other places and the broth was perfect without having to douse it in all the garnishments. The ambiance is good and suitable for families or small parties. The food was good and very tasty, I had the special Pho and a side of fried egg rolls. The broth was very flavorful and came with enough meat to last me two meals. The egg rolls were fried fresh with lots of filling, very hot so you'd need to watch your mouth! The restaurant is very pleasing to the eyes as they crank out 70 to 90 tunes on the speaker. Now let's get to the best parts!!!! This is a gem of a place. The plane is beautifully decorated and the music playing from the 80s is a win win. Now onto the food. Delicious Vietnamese restaurant in Gardena! Gotta start off by saying the staff is super, super friendly! It was busy when we came in on a Monday night! The menu has a good amount of options for pho and rice plates. My husband and I ordered the egg rolls, satay pho, and beef rib pho. The size of their pho bowls are a lot for one person! Very generous portions! The beef rib pho had two rib bones with a a lot of meat, which was super tender, basically fall off the bone. The satay pho was different, but in such a good way! I found this restaurant on Yelp, my previous PHO restaurant closed and was needing my pho fix. Walked in and found a seat right away. The staff was friendly and helpful. My order was delivered in about 5 minutes. Brisket pho, really good! The meat was tender and the broth was really tasty. $15 bucks and change for the big bowl out the door.
