My daughter went to pick this up for us. I had a BOGO for an entrée, salad or noodles. She got the chicken Thai coconut curry and I got the shrimp Thai coconut curry. We loved it. I was not sure about going there. We eat at tradition places in Monterey Park and Thai Town in Los Angeles, but this was as good. I have only had better in Thailand. Tried the promotional item called "Hot Honey chicken" and it was both sweet and savory. You can really taste the vinegar and sweetness in the sauce and the chicken was very fresh. Admittedly we are on a food delivery kick this week. This review is no fault of our food delivery service, but that of employees and management at Pick Up Stix. The flavor of the food is decent, and predictable as far as asian fast food goes. It's a bit too heavy on the sauces for my taste - but my kids and husband like this place as an alternative to the other more popular place (Can I say Panda Express here?) We were so excited to sit down to a dinner of cashew chicken (for us) and bourbon chicken (for the kids) only to discover upon delivery that -- yet AGAIN -- the bourbon chicken was MISSING!! Maaaybe partial fault can be ascribed to the delivery service. I dunno, is it part of their job to check the order for us? ‍‍ Can you hear me raising my voice with my ALL CAPS? I can see a mistake on a first time experience - things happen. But a SECOND time for the exact same order two weeks apart?? Clearly someone skipped a step, didn't double check it on the line, or something. Our receipt was highlighted to indicate what was in the bag (two orders of cashew chicken), they sent the steamed rice to go with the missing bourbon chicken. As I write this hubby is on his way to get the rest of our order. UPDATE: according to hubby the manager handled the incident really well and replaced our entire meal, along with giving us some coupons for free entrees. read more
