My family loves Pie Bar! Cream pies are their specialty, but we also love the big cookies and fruit pies. My favorite is the banana pudding pie. Service is very friendly. It's a nice spot to sit and enjoy your dessert. It's cozy, with multiple seating options. And there are board games!

OMPie!!!!! Holy poo do they produce delicious deserts. If you have a sweet tooth like me, this place has your name written all over it. I love that you can basically custom-make your own little treasures with available add-ons and toppings. It's located in kind of a strip mall but once inside you're transcended into a completely different vibe because of the fireplace and seating. It's really cozy and decorated cute too.

If you want an after dinner desert, "treat yourself" dessert, or anything in between this is your spot. I enjoyed my time at pie bar. Pie is usually not my desert of choice. The customer service was good and the employees were able to explain the process well. They employees also were well knowledgeable about the menu and gave good suggestions. There are so many combinations of a pie that you can do with the options available. How I built my pie: Blonde crust Cookie dough mousse Pretzel crumbs Chocolate chip cookie crumbs Everything was soooo tasty. It definitely was a good sweet treat.! I will definitely go back again!!! Get creative and try something different. Surprisingly the pretzel crumbs were amazing on my pie. They also have games in the sitting area. Grab some friends, grab your pie, and grab a game while you're at it!

I love this place! I can get a gluten-free crust and fillings. Always lots of yummy choices to make. And the coffee is great too. The only downside is that the flavors change and I haven't been able to get my favorite in a long time. But there's always something new to try, and ready-to-go options as well as the DIY pie. Also note they close at 9 during the week. I found that out the hard way.

We had pie bar delivered by way of DoorDash and very much enjoyed it. Ordering online was easy. And their desserts were delicious! I got the small mousse cup with Oreo and rainbow sprinkles which was very good. My fiancé also liked the fact they had gluten free options for her as well for her small Italian cream cake/sugar free mousse pie, that she also really enjoyed. Another five star experience for us!

After dinner at the sushi restaurant next door, I stopped by Pie Bar and was impressed by the variety of customization options and the helpful staff. I ordered a Key Lime pie and a chocolate chip cookie (both without extra toppings). The cookie was the standout--warm and delicious. The Key Lime pie had the classic tart flavor but a mousse-like texture rather than the denser, cheesecake-like consistency I expected. The cracker crust was also a bit underwhelming. That said, I'm excited to come back and try it with some toppings next time!

Fluffy mousse, delicious cheesecake. Everything is so good here and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

This is hands-down one of the best pies I've ever had!! The crust is so flaky and buttery. It tastes so fresh and is packed with flavor. Can't wait to come back!!

So good!! Small little shop, has seating and games and smells amazing. I was greeted by a nice lady who walked me through the whole process and gave me samples just cause. Got a 4 pack choose your own of their pies for my mom for her birthday and they were wonderful.

Pie Bar Review Pie Bar is a sweet tooth's dream come true. The build-your-own pie concept is fun and creative--you get to pick your crust, filling, and toppings just the way you like it. Everything I tried was delicious, so much so that I couldn't resist going back for seconds. If you're craving dessert with a personal touch, Pie Bar is a must-visit.

Stumbled upon this cute little pie shop while out of town. There's other well known pie shops in Austin, but what drew me to this place were the options to customize and build your own pies. There's a variety of cold mousse pie fillings at the counter that looks just like an ice cream display, and you can fill either a personal sized chocolate or blonde pie crust with up to two scoops of your choice. There are also options for warm cobbler fillings, or classic premade desserts if you don't want to go through the trouble of making your own. I went with a cookie dough mousse pie filling with pb cups on top, and it was tasty but did start to melt since I eat slowly. The server was really friendly and personable, and the dining area is a great place to hang out with plenty of seating, a fireplace, and boardgames. I'll be stopping by again the next time I'm in town. - Service: 5/5 - Ambiance: 4/5 - Cookie Dough Mousse: 4/5 - Apple Cobbler: 3/5

    Banana Cream pie

September 2024 Won't be back. Place looks nice and comfy but the pies were overpriced, overhyped, and underwhelming. Banana Cream Pie: There is some kind of bad, burnt, "fart" flavor in this pie. The crust is weirdly grainy. The filling is too dense and "gloppy." Artificial banana flavoring. Guy behind the counter said this is one of their best sellers. Can't see why. Maybe he was just trying to move product on a gullible newcomer? I had to throw it out. 0/10 Death by Cocolate: Tastes like a cheap knock-off version of a Hersey Pie. The chocolate mousse part is okay. The white mousse layer on the bottom is weird, adding a sourness. The crust is weirdly grainy but has a nice chicolately flavor. 2/10

She even gave my toddler a complimentary macaron. Sweet. I am usually pretty adventurous with trying new pastries/snacks and it generally works out well. Unfortunately, I did not like most of the things we took home that day (my husband agreed). A taro egg ball thing -- not fans. A gelatinous rice blob inside a bamboo leaf (believe it's called Zongzi) -- also didn't work for us. Finally, the beef puff (which seemed like a safe bet) fell short of expectations. It's my fault -- I ignored that part that said "beef floss." It had a stringy/processed texture that I just didn't like. I just wasn't a fan of the flavors/textures -- but obviously that's subjective. I did enjoy the garlic bread we also thankfully bought -- it was soft and flavorful. If you're not familiar with the foods, I'd recommend making sure you get a few "safe" items like the cream bread or garlic bread.
