DEFINITELY SKIP THIS PLACE in your car-buying search. Shady and predatory. Ran my credit before I ever even went to the dealership, which I never ended up doing because of shady interactions. I got a notification that a hard inquiry had been added to my credit report shortly after arranging a time to look at two of their vehicles. I had no interest in any other vehicles pn their lot, as all of them had poor reliability ratings. I texted to ask, explaining how now, if I didn't find a vehicle with them that I wanted to purchase, I would be walking away with nothing but a lower credit score in the middle of my car search, which very much feels like an entrapment maneuver. Was told by Brent, a "senior loan officer," that it was a mistake, to then be gaslit on the phone -- "Well, on the application, at the bottom, it does say you give the OK to run your credit." ... so which is it then? Don't tell me it was an error on your end to only then tell me it's my fault *and*then* say "Well, there's nothing I can do about it now -- are you still interested in a vehicle?" Same loan officer during that call told me at the end of the call that he would call me back "in a few minutes" after checking to see if they had any vehicles available in my price range that maybe weren't listed as such on the website. Never received a call back. Get a text the next day -- "Are you still looking for a vehicle? Are you still planning on coming to the dealership tomorrow?" I responded asking why I hadn't received a call back and explaining that all I've gotten from them so far is bad impressions -- and then no response. I think they think they can treat people poorly because they might deal with a lot of people who have limited options and therefore can't always choose to do business elsewhere. Incredibly frustrating, definitely avoid. ALSO -- their rating on Google is decent, 3.9 at the time of writing this, but check out their 1.1 on DealerRater.

Great service and nice sales people. The location was a challenge and it seem to take a long time when they went to fill up the car.

One man will stand above the rest with his understanding, his clarity, his scruples: Toni, owner of Prudent Autodeals. No, really: Toni was fantastic. We were dejectedly driving away from Bill Pierre Ford, where we had a cringeworthy experience with their accounting staff and some shady requests that I lie about my condition in order to get a loan, when I spotted what is now our beautiful Benz, a 2005 C230 Kompressor, sitting in the Prudent lot. We immediately went in and our negotiations lasted less than 15 minutes. Of course, the call to the loan people lasted much, much longer, and the whole time Toni patiently waited for us and provided us with every bit of information we needed. We even got an extra key (he ordered us the fancy new one!) and some touch-up paint for the scratches in the deal, and we walked away with the car of our dreams at the price we wanted. Toni and Prudent really put a smile on our faces and our butts back on the road. We appreciate it!

BE AWARE OF UPCHARGING DIAGNOSTIC TESTS + POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE…read more I had a very negative and stressful experience at this shop. I took my car in for an issue I clearly explained: broken hoses due to visible coolant leaks onto pavement and spraying coolant everywhere under the hood. Despite this, they insisted on performing expensive diagnostic tests (compression leak, dye test, and pressure test) that I thought were unnecessary. They gave me an estimate of $750 to replace the 2 broken heater hoses. I told them I'd call them back to authorize repairs after I speak with the mechanic who had replaced the radiator hoses in August 2024. This mechanic quoted me $225 to replace all 4 heater hoses, since they tend to age together. When I called Lake City Autoworks back, they told me the work had already been done even though I never authorized it. Instead of acknowledging they had made a mistake by completing work I never authorized them to do, they gave me an ultimatum: pay the $750 or allow them to reverse the repair and reinstall the broken hoses, but I was still stuck with $500 for diagnostic fees, which was never discussed or mentioned to me upfront. I tried to contest the fees, especially because compression leak and dye test are usually done when suspecting head gasket failures, and pressure test is usually done when there might be occult leaks. My car showed clear, visible coolant leaks, so I thought a visual inspection was all that was needed to confirm the diagnosis, especially since I could see/photograph the broken hoses without getting underneath the car. Nothing I said mattered, so my car was being held hostage by their 2 ridiculous choices. I had to ask a friend to speak on my behalf because I was completely frustrated and pushed into fight-flight-freeze mode. Whether it was because I threatened to leave a 1-star review and report them to the BBB, or because my friend was a male, but they offered to zero out my account. Through my friend, I was able to tell them I was willing to pay the $225 (though my friend relayed "$250") as quoted by another mechanic, but I wanted to speak to the service writer and the owner, after we all cooled down, because I wanted to find out what happened that caused unauthorized work to proceed and whether they routinely upcharge by adding unnecessary diagnostic fees. Surprisingly, they shut down all further communications, stating "we're good, and we've moved on." In essence, when I requested to hold off on my repairs until I could speak to my mechanic, they ignored my request, and when I requested to discuss what happened to cause all emotions to fly sky high, they declined my request. In between, there were some shady business. I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone. They lack transparency, engage in upselling unnecessary services, and provide poor customer service. I went to them once for a repair that they couldn't find the parts for, and for an oil change ($116, the most expensive oil change I ever had on my 1998 Camry). They do have good reviews and a few not-so-good-ones. Just be aware: this type of experience is potentially in the mix. I hope you catch them on a good day! The experience was smooth, hassle free, friendly, and professional. The service itself was excellent. Five stars. For comparison, my previous vehicle was a luxury brand. While the service provided at that dealership was very good, there was definitely an attitude there from the customers that was reflected by the staff. The staff was professional and friendly, but there was a completely different vibe from what I experience at Lee Johnson Mazda. Perhaps that went with the branding. I am based in California and purchased a 2006 Dodge Dakota SLT TRX4 with a 4.7 High Output engine in February of 2021 from SNS Auto. Communication- from start to finish Sal has been responsive, communicative and professional. He was open and honest with me regarding all issues, inspections and maintenance and very detailed when negotiating price. As a potential out-of-state customer, Sal also took the time to set up a virtual (FaceTime) to allow me the opportunity to thoroughly inspect the vehicle (as much as possible through FaceTime). It took roughly an hour and half but Sal showed me every single good and bad detail (scratches, paint condition, vehicle idle, engine compartment) about the truck and anything I asked him to show or hear he complied happily. He even crawled on his hands knees to show me the undercarriage of the vehicle for like 10 minutes while it was running so I can observe if any leaks, heavy rust, etc., etc. His level of honesty and overall communication has been amazing. Customer Service- Sal is a natural and humble servant to his customers. At no point did I ever feel uncomfortable or taken advantage of. I've worked in sales before and have had many interactions with car salesmen/saleswomen so I am quite familiar with sales techniques, language and practices. Sal is straight up and honest and sincerely wants to satisfy his clients. In some instances he went above and beyond what any sales person has ever done for me. Product- I purchased/shipped the vehicle and the price (plus shipping) was under KBB and I was satisfied. Sal worked out some magic to get me an incredible rate for shipping that was well under other estimates and shipping only took 2-3 days. (The delivery driver was also incredibly nice and communicative). Upon receiving the vehicle, it was apparent that there were many issues that were not observed during our virtual test drives. I took the car for a test drive and as mentioned, I observed some issues that I needed to address with Sal. Before I could reach out to Sal to discuss the issues, he was already calling/texting me to confirm that the vehicle had arrived and that I was satisfied. We had some lengthy conversations about the issues I observed but if you're still reading- THIS IS WHEN I WAS BLOWN AWAY WITH SAL'S EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE- Together we investigated and addressed every issue. We even spoke to the SNS in-house mechanic to iron out details of the issues. I also took the vehicle to my personal mechanic for diagnosis and to write up estimates as needed. Sal offered to help cover some of the expenses and even found parts needed and shipped them to me. I truly believe that if I lived closer to SNS auto, Sal and his team would have addressed all the issues for me but because I am an out-of-state buyer he worked with me in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE to make sure I was satisfied and that the vehicle was in the condition as advertised pre-purchase. It is important to note that I purchased the vehicle with an "AS IS WARRANTY" which typically means no warranty and the vehicle is sold as is- but Sal is a family oriented and honest professional and went the extra mile to ensure the vehicle met my standards. Overall Conclusion - it is now been about a month and half since I purchased the vehicle and I have finally completed all work needed to correct/fix issues. BUT I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT SAL- He has been incredibly supportive and helpful to making sure the vehicle met my standards. As mentioned, sourcing parts and helping cover expenses while maintaining high levels of communication is more than I could have ever asked for. Some of you reading this might think that this should not be a 5 star review, but I am honestly incredibly happy and beyond impressed with Sal and SNS team for all they have done to make me a happy California client. Thank you so much Sal for everything you have done and for proving to me that there are still good, whole-hearted, honest and professional people in this world.

One of top top cars, a Lexus ES350, came on the market at EZ Deals. It was 10 years old but only had 66k miles so I was interested. I reached out online and they promptly sent me the Carfax. The car had a clean title, extensive service history, and no accidents. It was time for a test drive! The car performed exceptionally well. After the test drive, Sam (the father) made a great deal even better by offering me the car for a lower price than was listed online. I decided to sleep on it. The next morning, I saw another 2013 ES350 online priced for $2k more WITH a rebuilt title, so I knew I couldn't pass up on the detail. I messaged Ari (the son) to let him know I'd be coming in the buy the car if the offer was still on the table. When I got there, Sam told me he was a man of his word and that he'd honor the killer deal he offered me the day before. As I was filling out the paperwork, Ari told me a local Lexus dealership had tried to buy the car from them that morning so they could get away with selling another 2013 ES350 with a clean title but more miles for $5k above EZ Deals' offer. I don't know how they do it, but Sam and Ari sell exceptional cars for unbeatable prices. Not only that, but they personally drive every car they sell for a few days each to make sure they live up to their standards. Sam previously owned an auto mechanic shop, and Ari worked for 12 years at Toyota, so they understand quality car mechanics and customer service. They won't sell a car they wouldn't trust their family members to drive. Can't wait to buy from them again!

Great people to work with when buying a car but definitely not great people after the deal,…read moreespecially if anything goes wrong. I bought a Volvo from them but 1 day later, it started misfiring. When I called, I was told that there was "nothing they could do" to help. Not even covering the cost of spark plugs, coil packs, etc. But I'll cover the other side of the story and explain. The car was listed for 8500 I think, but we negotiated down to 7500. Why? Because the sellers knew NOTHING about the car's history or even any of the problems. The sunroof was caulked up, seemingly because the sunroof drains got clogged up and fried some electronics. When asked about this, they didn't know about it and therefore wouldn't have told me if I didn't notice. Additionally, the condition the car was stated in was not accurate. While it was stated as "good", most damage was not shown in the listing online, and in person, there were many dents; the bumper was scratched pretty bad, the passenger side rear door was really dented, the frame-rail on the roof was dented, there was missing clear coat in numerous places and even a scratch down to bare metal in one spot. The interior panel of the hatch was falling off, not to mention numerous interior dents on metal pieces such as the dashboard infotainment center, a janky passenger seat that had a bad connection with the electronic controls, and a speaker that was raspy on the passenger side. There was also missing heat-shield in the engine bay, and the entire engine bay was covered in oil to make it "look good". This turned out to be the reason for my misfire; when they put oil on the engine cover, oil dripped down into a coil pack and broke it. All in all, I'd say it was definitely worth less than 8500, especially since the KBB value is 1k lower than what I even got it for, 7500. But I won't go into that because that's really my fault for buying it at that price. BTW, the paperwork completely forfeits ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, so do not expect to be legally able to force them to pay for any fixes. They won't. IF YOU'RE STILL SET ON THIS CAR LOT: Make sure you get a good deal and the car isn't hiding anything. Test drive for 30 minutes at the least; This lot will ERASE CODES so you can't see the problems. BRING AN OBD2 scanner, they are $40 for the cheapest one at O'Rielly's, and you'll need it anyway. Then, inspect the car WELL. Check all windows, engine idle sound, pull gently on all hoses to make sure they are attached. Mine weren't (vacuum line), but I only noticed AFTER I BOUGHT THE CAR. So don't make the same mistake. And definitely make a list of things that are wrong with the car. You won't get a deal if you don't do that. TL;DR: This is a wild card car lot. You could get something good, or something bad. You don't know, the sellers don't know either. Unless it's a good deal or you can strike up a warranty deal for cheap, I wouldn't recommend it unless you're fully committed. Be very careful if you buy something here, and check as much as you can to make sure it works.

I was looking for something foreign, and/or mid-luxury. When I arrived I had my eye on this Saab and a 2003 Volkswagen Passat. I think Simo was the name of the gentleman we worked with. He had all of the Carfax available and I was able to make a decision based off of the solid history of the Saab versus the Passat. We test drove both vehicles, and I liked the pick-up of the Saab better, though the Passat felt like it had brand-new brakes installed. Simo offered us a warranty on the Saab for a monthly fee (I forgot how much it was) but I just bought it as is. One bonus was that Simo offered me June 2016 tabs on the new plates (18 months from December 2014) for $40, as opposed to just leaving with June 2015 plates. Very helpful come the following June. Simo was very honest with us. For anybody buying used, I say it's really on you to do some of the work and make intelligent decisions. Ask questions, do your research, understand the cost of ownership, etc. Another bonus was the sheer selection of cars here. Simo had BMW's for DAYS!! I got my car for around $4K cash, but I was so tempted to get the Mustang he had, or drop another grand for a BMW or the Lexus truck I saw. Dude even had a Dodge Magnum with a Chrysler 300C body front attached. Crazy. Based off of how well my car has been treating me, my Mom wants to shop here for her next used car. We got a great deal, better than what we were willing to pay a day before. Update: This is a really late update but I've never been more dissatisfied with a purchase and the dishonesty of a car dealer. A week into owning the car I noticed my car was shaking when idling and I took it into my mechanic, my radiator was tied on to my motor with a yellow rope. Called simo and asked if he could pay for the damages and he declined. There goes $1200. No less than 2 weeks later my car started making a really loud noise coming from the muffler / shaking a lot. Didn't have time to take it in, two days later I'm leaving work at 2 am in downtown Seattle and my car just kills right after I try to go at a green light. Had to tow my car at 2 am. Turns out my engine was not bolted in properly and was missing a few screws so my engine had dropped and fell out of place (which is what killed my car) broke my two front axels and tail pipe. It's been two months or so and I'm trying to get my money back through a lawyer. Please don't waste your time coming here.
