Literally the best pizza and pasta, homemade and delicious. 11/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Owner is awesome

Seeking some good pizza and beer after a round of golf, we asked a friend for a recommendation and Piezanos it was ... and what an excellent recommendation! The pizza and calzones were fantastic! Every element - sauce, crust, meats and cheeses - were spot on. Highly recommended if you're in the area and looking for some tasty pizza.

    Burnt wings and no flavor.

I just ordered togo food and these are the wings I received, burnt. The spaghetti I received is good though. Did anyone validate the food before it went out? Togo food is just as important as in house dining. I ate one wing and it had no flavor, I was very excited about the wings especially because they are brined. This is disappointing. I will not return.

Overcooked, lack of cheese, dry as a bone, why would you put this pizza in a box and sell it to me? See pictures

We ordered the BLANCO and it was fantastic. We also had the garlic bites which were also very good. We will definitely be back.

Nice local neighborhood pizza parlor. Reminded me of the cafes in Europe. They serve wine and craft beers too.

Atrocious pizza. Don't waste your time or money. Bland crust, cheap cheese and skimpy ingredients. Never again.

Nearby, homemade spaghetti and meatballs, and bread nuggets! For one, this is two meals for a good price.

We're there almost every…read moreweek, sometimes twice a week, especially on Saturdays when there's an event, a game on, or something going on in the plaza. That whole St. Philip's area always has a great energy, and UPH is a big part of that. There's usually a crowd, live music or sports on, and it feels like one of those places where you can bring friends from out of town and know it'll be a fun time. Food is consistently solid. The grilled chicken sandwich is my go-to and it's good every time. We both usually get one, and a lot of the time we'll add buffalo wings, which are some of our favorites in Tucson. Good flavor, good texture, and always reliable. If anything, the wings could always use a little more sauce, but they're still one of the better orders on the menu. The only real issue, and it happens pretty often, is the service speed. Everyone there is friendly, but the place always feels understaffed, especially when it's busy. We've had multiple times sitting outside in the Arizona heat where it takes 15-20 minutes just to get water to the table, and you start wondering if you should go up to the bar yourself to get things moving. Once service gets going everything is fine, but getting that first round of attention can take longer than it should for how often this place fills up. Even with that, we keep coming back. The food is consistent, the atmosphere is great, and the plaza has a real sense of community that makes it easy to hang out there for a while. It's one of our go-to spots in Tucson, and it's still somewhere we bring friends when they're visiting. Food 7.5 Ambience 8 Service 7 Price 7 7.4 overall C Great place to spend time, just don't expect everything to happen quickly when it's busy.

Which, you know, is kind of the whole point of a restaurant. The atmosphere was great, a little on the nose, but great none the less. It feels like a Mexican dinner or at least what I imagined a dinner in Mexico would look like. The staff where beyond amazing, especially the woman who made our complementary salsa right at the table. And the salsa was yummy but sadly that's the only part of the meal that I can say that about. The thing is, nothing was truly bad, but just about everything was incredibly bland. You'd have expected someone who puts raisins in potato salad to have served it, not an authentic Mexican restaurant. Though the positive is the lack of seasoning is really the only major problem. The food did not have any weird taste, it wasn't dry, the presentation was fine. It simply needs to be seasoned and this place goes to a solid 4/5 rather than a three.

Our server was really nice, knew the menu and once she knew one of us had a birthday, was on top of taking special care of the birthday person. We ordered the street corn salad for an appetizer - so good. The server suggested that a side of chips would enhance the experience with the street corm salad and she was right. One friend ordered the chicken tortilla soup, another the chicken tinga tacos and I ordered the pozole and a side of calabacitas. The chicken tortilla soup had a red broth that friend had never had before but really liked it. The chicken tinga tacos had a side of beans and rice and was delicious. The calabacitas was especially good - I could have eaten a large bowl of it. Now to the pozole - I like a little more back-of-the-throat heat with my pozole.. It was really good though, with tender meat and hominy. A small amount of spice and chili powder was on the side of the dish - a nice touch. The server brought the birthday friend a scoop of really good ice cream with whipped cream and sprinkles on top. All in all a great birthday lunch. As one friend stated - you can tell the cooks/kitchen cares about the food they put out. I'll go back. I really like this place.

Our server was incredible -- I really wish I had gotten her name because she was absolutely amazing and made the experience much better. I ordered a vodka tonic with lemon, but unfortunately it came in a tall glass and tasted very watered down. It honestly didn't even look or feel like a cocktail. For appetizers, we had the street corn and chips and salsa, which were good. However you do pay for the chips and salsa. For dinner, I ordered the fiesta salad, which was lacking flavor, along with the sweet potato taquitos. The taquitos themselves were really good, but the tortillas were pretty burned at the edges. Overall, it was still a nice night out because of the atmosphere and service, but I'm not sure I'd return specifically for the food. I might give it one more chance.
