I am so happy Pita Jungle opened in Norterra Shops! The menu is the same at this location as the rest. I LOVE the decor at this location. The art is great and there is a nice area to eat outside. The service is usually good and the food is always fresh. I come here for Happy Hour with my teacher friends after work. The specials on small plates and drinks are perfect! We usually get the hummus, shrimp, garlic chicken, and possibly the scallops. I love everything, but the scallops. They seem to have a weird taste to them. Last night was my 2nd visit back to this place and I left oh-so-happy about it! I often got this confused with Pita Pit, but the two restaurants are very different. This one you sit down and are served. Both times I went on a Friday night after a movie and it was a little crowded. There may be waiting if there are more than 2 of you, but it's not a long wait if you do. The first time our waitress was good. Last night, the waiter was okay. I'm too busy eating and enjoying the food to really let that part bother me too much. Around 6-7pm last night, it was nice to sit outside on the patio since the sun had already gone down, but if you go earlier, there is shading over the patio. The cilantro jalepeno hummus is "Ah-mazing!" Don't worry about it being too spicy, because it's just the right amount of spice that balances the cilantro flavor. The pesto pizza is delicious! We added chicken though which made it more filling! As other reviewers had said, it feels like everything is so fresh and you don't feel overwhelmed with gluttony once you are done. With the exception of the falafel, not many things are deep fried. Most foods here are grilled or baked. I understand we're experiencing inflation as a Country but I'm very disappointed to say that I've noticed that not only have prices at Pita Jungle increased, they've simultaneously decreased their portion sizes. Absolutely ridiculous!! If you're going to charge more for the same dishes - don't also audaciously serve smaller portions at a higher price! You want to keep customers happy and coming back, which is whats keeping your business afloat - BE FAIR - we're all feeling it! i got a wrap with grilled veggies in it, a side salad and mashed the potatoes, i couldn't finish the wrap because it was so soggy, it's like they forgot to drain the veggies or the extra sauce in there, the mashed potatoes were amazing very filling on it's own, i got some guava lemonade but all i could taste was lemonade no guava, this whole meal was a little over $20 definitely not worth the price, i personally won't come here again and i wouldn't recommend this high priced restaurant to anyone either read more

I came in today to enjoy a great dish and the AZ autumn weather, and was told I could not sit outside because they were short staffed (I was in the industry, I get it). However there were 2 hosts standing by the register, and entry literally not doing anything, while their poor manager ran around. There were two bartenders, with no bar patrons; and yet- no one could help this only server. I was allowed to sit outside (I had to wait 20 min for water, again the hosts were standing doing nothing), and the server/manager provided the best service they could; with literally no help from anyone else. LITERALLY- hosts and bartenders: DUH. When your co-worker (and manager) needs help; jump in. Don't be freaking lame. The food was great. read more

The family and I met up with some friends here for dinner last night. Wow I really enjoyed the place too. We were seated right away for a table of five. The place is quite noisy but we all were still able to have a conversation )I needed a drink to help me lol). By the way the drink I had was the Botanist Martini and I truly enjoyed it. It tasted so smooth! Definitely will get that again if I ever come back since we are just visiting. We had the caramelized cauliflower with tahini sauce as an appetizer and even my mini me who hates veggies or anything remotely healthy liked the dish surprisingly! I am so glad we got to eat here because hubby and I have been trying to make healthier choices when out and about and this place hit all the marks. Great portions, prices and light on calories! We stopped here for lunch and ordered a small cilantro jalapeño hummus with an extra pita (it comes with one large pita but we each wanted our own) and split a chicken Mediterranean salad. It was delicious! Good quality, great flavors, large portions and they have sooo many menu options! Our salad had huge pieces of chicken in it, tons of fresh veggies and yellow raisins that were sooo good! Tons of salad options (hot or cold), veggie sides, starters, flatbreads and light options. The cocktail menu looked good and the happy hour and daily specials looked good too! We'll definitely be back for happy hour and to try different menu options. The service was good and there's really cool, colorful artwork all around the restaurant that's fun to look at while you wait for your food. This place was across the street from my office. Liked the open concept of the location. Decor was nice and the staff was super. The guys in my party got the Philly Steak pita that looked really good, but I went with the Spicy Chicken Wrap. This was a monster wrap full of Spicy grilled marinated chicken, and a ton of steamed veggies: broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, yellow squash, tomatoes, red onions, organic brown rice, lemon-cilantro mixed beans, herbs, cilantro-garlic paste, hot chili sauce, with pita or as a bowl with organic brown rice. It was almost too much that it drowned out the flavor of the spicy chicken and tough to eat. I would give it more flavor to get higher stars. I might even suggest putting it in a pita bread instead of the wrap. There might be too much to eat in a pita, but a suggestion. read more

Stopped in for lunch with a friend and our daughters on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated fast and the waitress was friendly. The food came out at a decent pace, we were a little crunched for time so I was hyper aware of how long things were taking. It did take a while for the waitress to comeback and get our checks/payment and we had to flag a random waiter to get a box because she kinda disappeared at the end. The kids meal options were fun for the girls. Basically you pick a protein, carb, veggie and all get fruit. My daughter opted for the pasta with red sauce, chicken, broccoli and fruit. She is a pretty picky eater, so she did not finish it. I had the gyro pita, which I thought was good. It would have been better with feta cheese on it, which I found out you have to add to it after I got it. I thought it was traditionally on it already. After going to the Pita Jungle on N Tatum by Desert Ridge and our house, we found this location refreshing and fun. I came in for myself and was blown away today Came by to dine in and pita did not disappoint! Cleanest restaurant I've even eating at. All staff was wearing gloves and masks.
