The dough is firm and crispy, toppings are fresh and go well together, the Bruscheta pizza (which tastes more like a proper Italian napoletana with a hint of garlic. I also tried some of their less conventional pizzas, loved the paneer one. We would sometimes order 15-20 pizzas from Bello to the office for our Friday office lunch and there is never EVER any leftovers....that's how good Pizza Bello really is... I would also recommend the plain cheese pizza and the cheese steak pizza (the crunchy onions and peppers really hit the spot) It's pricier than other pizza places in the area but worth EVERY penny! There's no reason to go anywhere else in the area. The Pizza here made it ok for me to move to Pleasanton from San Francisco. The staff is really friendly and the pizza is awesome. I suggest the Carne or the Classico. I also imagine that Bello Buns are served at the pearly gates because they taste like you're being rewarded for something. read more

It used to be a yogurt shop but it is now a small Pizza and Italian place offering Gyros, sandwiches, salads, bruschetta, etc. They have a lot going for them - pizza by the slice, quick service, delicious and fresh food and reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly and easy to deal with. They try hard to please their customers. They also have toys for the kids to play with while dining in their small dinning room. Huge TV with the sports on, staff are very professional even if they are as busy as I've seen it sometimes... Everything on the menu is made fresh! You have to try the Calzones! Center mass extra dark isn't my thing but it could be for others. My son couldn't eat it. Wings were interesting. Most of the wing pieces had broken bones which is a supplier issue. Loose bone while eating a wing isn't pleasant. Taste was good but it wasn't great having loose pieces of bone. I'd order again and try different items. WOW, I have to give it to this place. They have the absolute WORST pizza I have ever tried! My husband and I ordered a regular & a pepporoni slice, with an order of breadsticks. The regular slice had NO SAUCE & was burnt to a black crisp, the pepporoni had minimal sauce and was dry as a bone. The marinara sauce that came with the breadsticks was almost black in color. I have never seen a marinara sauce that dark, and awful tasting. I have tried lots of pizza in my life, from NY to Chicago to Miami & Vegas & in between. Nothing as tasteless as this. Never tried this place before and now I'm mad because it's better than most pizza places in San Jose. First night out while visiting a friend we ended up going to pizza bello because she kept saying how good it was. The menu was a bit overwhelming at first, but I decide to go the simple route and customize my own half of the pizza. For my toppings I had mushroom, onion, ham, and bell peppers and my friend got half with chicken pesto. If I had to rate just the pizza it would be very close to five stars. The crust is almost perfect, but I wouldn't mind if it was crispier, even a bit burnt on the bottom. Since we just had an all around great time here, including the awesome service by the way, I couldn't give less than five stars. We were excited to try this place after reading all the reviews on their pizza. I called ahead and asked for a 5:30 delivery. The gentlemen taking my order almost hung up without asking for my address.....pizza delivery 101. 6:00 rolls around and no pizza, so I called for an update to see where the heck our pizza was. The lady on the line was polite and asked for my information so she could call the driver and get back to me. Turns out the clerk who took my order not only wrote my address wrong but also my phone number. Due to this our pizza was cold and overall we had a very poor expirence.
