First time visiting Pizzetta, and we were pleasantly surprised! We ordered the Marinara pizza with cheese, the wings, and a Caesar salad. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Pizzetta has definitely earned a spot in our top five pizza places in San Francisco. We especially appreciated the customer service--everyone was attentive, friendly, and had such a positive attitude. What really caught our attention was that the wings are oven-baked rather than traditionally fried, which gave them a unique and delicious flavor. The Caesar salad was fresh, and the dressing tasted homemade, which we really enjoyed. We look forward to coming back and trying more items from the menu. This spot was super delicious! We spent the day in the city and stumbled upon this hidden gem. The food was super bomb, and the service was excellent! The staff was super friendly, helpful, and the totally looked like they loved being there. You know how some people just seem like they hate their job? Well you definitely don't get that vibe here. I loved the restaurant itself-- super charming and welcoming. Very small space inside though, so thankfully it wasn't crowded with other customers when we went! Their pizzas are super good. We got the Diavola and the Carne e Funghi. They're the type of pizzas that we'd crave every time. After our visit to UCSF, we were looking for a nice Italian pizzeria in the neighbourhood. The pizza was delicious and the staff were friendly, albeit slow. The place was practically empty, yet everything still took forever. But I can forgive almost anything for a nice, thin-crust Neapolitan pizza! Came here on a Thursday night with a friend. I read somewhere that it was a full bar but it wasn't, it turned out to be fine since they had a sour beer and my friend had some wine. The ambience was very chill, intimate but it could go date or with your close friends. We ordered the burrata, the pizza with spicy salami and arugula, and the drinks. The pizza, you can taste the wood burning crust and it's so fresh. And the Burrata it was not typical but so good. It came with fruit and bread slices. Maybe not enough but we used some of the pizza crust. We entered the pizzeria for lunch at 12 noon and immediately felt welcomed. It's cozy. It's quaint. It's a perfect place to enjoy a pie and beer. Our favorite pizza is in Temecula at Goat & Vine, but since we're not there and in SF... we were pleasantly pleased that we found a new pizzeria that would satisfy our craving for yummy pizza. We had the carne e funghi pizza recommended by Hamada. It hit the spot and we can't wait to return and try another pizzetta. We ordered Monzo E Burrata (5/5) Wagyu beef salami, burrata, San Marzano and House made mozzarella. This was my favorite of the two. The perfect ratio of meat to cheese. The flavors were on point and not overly salty. Capra e Cavolo (4/5) Humboldt Fog Goat Cheese, kale, spinach, green onions and San Marzano. I was expecting to like this one more but the kale and spinach where alittle too charred. The pizza crust was thin, crispy yet chewy in the center. I love the wood fired taste infused into the crust. Parking can we difficult but if you're around, its a great cozy place to get pizza. read more

This pizzeria is well hidden behind its parklet, so it's easy to miss. It needs to shine on the block because its wood fire pizza has a lot to offer. The menu offers pizza and appetizers, along with a small selection of beer and wine. The pizza is flavorful and a perfect size for yourself or to share with someone else. It's mostly quiet inside and it's equipped with televisions just in case you want to catch that Giants game. The staff is very friendly. [Pepperoni Pizza] Thin crust that isn't swimming in sauce - just the way we like it! The crust has a nice crisp to it near the edges and while the center isn't crispy, it doesn't get soggy and still holds everything together (nice chew too). [Wings] Oven-baked with a nice char and crunch. The sauce is also good! [Caesar salad] Anchovies are a must! The portion was quite large so that was a nice surprise. [Wine] Generous pours for $6! We tried the malbec, tempranillo, and sauvignon blanc. The latter was the best and tasted so refreshing. We devoured everything! The servers are super nice, but we did have to wait until the end of our meal before we were checked up on to receive water refills. This is probably more of personal thing, as I drink a large amount of water while eating. From what we ordered I'd recommend the beets salad and the Diavola with Burrata added. We love having this cozy spot with craft beers and delicious, creative fire-roasted pizzas within walking distance. It's a neighborhood gem, for sure. The ingredients are all very fresh and the pizzas are made with care. My one note is they need one dash of salt over the top of their dishes. I thought, well then, it should be pretty good. I was so wrong; it wasn't pretty good... it was off the charts superb!! I really don't think I've had better pizzas. And it's too bad, because I no longer live in the Bay Area. But, the next time I visit; I'm coming back. In addition, it was a beautiful late afternoon, so we sat outside.
