We had a wonderful experience here. Good food and great service! Ramon was our server and he did an excellent job. He never let our drinks get empty. He was also very attentive to our needs. I had the huli huli chicken with smashed potatoes, and it was delicious! My family really enjoyed their food as well. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Nestled in the Plaza hotel is this cute quaint restaurant. This is a hidden gem as no long wait lines on a Sunday morning. Service was quick and attentive as everyone here seemed to like their jobs and understand the service industry. As for the food, it was served hot and tasty. We'll be back with the family..

Although I gave this restaurant five stars, I wouldn't say you should bring a date here. First off, the setting is very basic. It has to be, because, according to management, they have a contract with the military, which means that it is overrun with little ones, and when I say overrun, I mean it literally. The waitstaff seem to take it all in stride, and are very accommodating of the children, as is the menu, with lots to offer as far as kids palates go. There is a fair and varied amount of selections, which should please most diners. I decided on the Grilled Chicken Alfredo, and was extremely surprised and pleased by how tasty it was. The serving was large, perfectly cooked al dente pasta, sauce and chicken, very flavorful. The dish comes with a basic slice of garlic bread, (very much appreciated to sop up the delicious sauce) and freshly grated parmesan cheese for sprinkling. My husband ordered the dry (no gravy) Pork Chops, which, according to him, were very juicy, tender and delicious. As for alcohol, a small selection of beer and wine are available, but no hards or mixed drinks. Lastly, may I add, our server Sharron, who said she was over 70 years old, moved around like a twenty-something, checked on us continuously, told us interesting anecdotes, and was observed joyfully interacting with the many families in her section, and was probably the best part of our dining experience. This marvelous woman should give lessons in service. Please ask for her section if you ever dine here. She alone is worth five stars.

I had the Ribeye Steak which was cooked exactly the way I like it, just needed a little more flavor. The sides were in different bowls, but put onto 1 plate with the steak knife on it. For the price of the entire meal, the presentation could have been better. We were given the check prior to being asked if we wanted dessert. I love dessert, too bad I can't comment on that. Place is clean although it had a cafeteria type of feeling. This place is worth a try if you want to go to somewhere that's not crowded. Menu has a lot of variety.

The restaurant is found in a hotel lobby. Nice, clean and reasonably priced considering hotel in Hawaii. I had the papaya bowl. The bowl was decent. The fruit was fresh, the presentation pretty and the amount sufficient. What threw me off is how they set the bowl up. There was two pieces of papaya placed on top of some granola and some yogurt inside the papaya. The problem here is at first I thought that the yogurt was plain and needed some honey drizzled over it to compliment the yogurt. Then I realized that there was a lot more granola at the bottom of the papaya once I finished it. Maybe next time put it on top of the yogurt. Just a thought.

My awesome shrimp scampi! Soooo good!

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice and modern this restaurant was and how good the food was! I ordered shrimp scampi, my husband had a huli huli chicken sandwich and my daughter had a kids cheese pizza, we also shared the guava cake for dessert. Everything we had was awesome! Our server Sharon made sure we understood the menu and told us the catch of the day. Our food came out quick and Sharon checked on us every so often to see if we needed anything. We highly recommend if you are looking for a good place to eat in the airport area, to check out the Plaza Cafe!

Huli Huli chicken was "Ono", just wished it was hot from the pan...

This restaurant would be a great place to go if you want a clean, quiet and a menu that has a variety. I was very impress with how clean and open it was. The lady that sat us down was very nice. I would have loved it if she introduced herself, but she sat us down and left so quickly. Our waitress came, greeted us with a menu. I love connecting with people, so I love it when I get to meet or know my waitress/waiter before I meet the menu. Friday night was not busy at all which was great, don't need to deal with crowd. We ordered mozzarella sticks and bruschetta as an appetizer. It was served pretty fast! The presentation was great, I was excited to taste them. The mozzarella sticks was very tasty as well as the bruschetta, which was tastier than Paesano. But as slow as it was that night, I expected my food to be served hot, specially the sticks. It was warm as if it was heated up in the microwave and served. For the main dish, I ordered the Huli Huli chicken. It was suggested by our server Techi (after struggling to read her name tag). She was very pleasant! It was presented very nicely and looked "Ono".. It was very "Ono", just wished it wasn't too dry and wished it was hot. Again, i have a feeling it was warned in the microwave, it didn't have a fresh taste. When the sides was served it was a different story. Three sides in different bowls were place in a plate not big enough to hold it. Hence it looked messy and lazy. And the knives were place in between the three bowls. My sister ordered the steak. They give you a pretty good size rib-eye. It was cooked the way she wanted it, just wished it had more taste. Makes me wonder if the cook even tasted his own cooking. Now the dessert! I can't say anything because none was offered until we asked for a dessert menu. The problem was, she already gave us our check...bummers! There is always room for dessert! Now the overall comfort. It was clean and quiet, which was perfect. I would have love it even more if it had a little more warmth to the place. Something that makes me want to come back and stay longer. Feels like there is a total disconnect with the employees and the restaurant. There is no love, no sense of pride and joy. I didn't see or felt that, the warmth you have for the place you work at. It felt more like an oversized employee cafeteria. Their menu has allot of variety which is a plus, but the execution in presenting the menu to the finish product doesn't do justice to their menu. Would I go back? Not anytime soon unless they can give me my mozzarella sticks and Huli Huli chicken hot from the pan and not warmed from the microwave.

The food is really good. A little on the pricey side but what restaurant isn't? The waiters are really nice, especially my waiter James. The salmon was very delicious and the appetizer was tasty. Definitely recommend this place

Simply well done burger. Came out BURNED AND TASTE BITTER. the same goes with french fries

Food is ok (sometimes), overpriced. Rude employees. They made orders wrong, don't know the terms of food, which is weird for a hotel rest. Ordered fried eggs, turn out sunny side up w/runny yolks. Ordered mashed potatoes, came out baked potatoes. No apologies, no offer to fix. Defend themselves hard we had to show our receipts for to show what we ordered. The waiter (always the same one) blamed the kitchen staff and i ended up had to argue with them Complain to assistant manager? He is so calm, nodded a lot but mostly don't care, side on the employees. Ordered chicken tenders had to wait 30 min, not busy hrs, only 8 guests in rest. Suffered a lot for as military family stayed for months with this kind of restaurant's service.

Every single item on the food and drink menu is crafted with such robust flavor with so much dimension in each bite. The drink menu is unique, I had a cocktail I can't remember the name of it but it had plum something and was created by one of the servers there. So cool to see employees own work on the menu, he shared with us how hard and long he worked on the craft cocktail to make it perfect. Now this is a bartender! Would definitely recommend making a reservation, unless it's just you and maybe one other than the bar is mostly open seating I think. I got lucky and walked in on a Sunday night and there happened to be two open seats at the bar which i hear is unheard of due to the popularity that is this restaurant. It's a cute restaurant and is definitely a well oiled machine

I came here 2 weeks in a row so this is the review for both times. The first time I came by I went…read morewith my coworkers for my graduation lunch. They were very busy but thankfully we had a reservation. We started with the Fete Spread as the appetizer, the spreads are delicious, I like the green one the most, its nutty and slightly earthy The red one is tomatoey n sharper and the white one is creamy and sweet. This app also comes with refillable toast, which we definitely made sure to get another serving of. Then I was going to get the Korean steak as my entrée, however my coworker got it and I wanted to try something different and new so I went with the beef pot pie per the waitress' recommendation. However, I really wasn't that good in my opinion. I felt like the bourbon in the pie filling made it taste off and unappealing to me. Then I got dessert because why not. We got a lilikoi cheesecake from the Millie Fete bakery. I did not like the cheesecake very much as well. The chocolate mousse on top was good, thw cheesecake itself was good as well. However, the crust also had alcohol infused in it, which made it taste off and bitter to me. I even asked my coworkers to taste it and they agreed. We also got a scoop of kulolo ice cream. I didn't realize it was going to ALSO be infused in alc, I think it was rum, so again, the ice cream tasted slightly off to me. Kulolo is already perfect why mess with it... Also my OTHER frustration was that it took an OBSCENE amount of time for the cheesecake and ice cream. Logically, the cheesecake would just need to be plated and the ice cream just scooped. However it took 15-20 minutes for us to get the dessert which is ridiculous in my opinion. THE SECOND TIME I came, it was a slightly better experience. We had the spread and toast appetizer like previously and it was good again. WE also got the quinoa cakes and it was super flavorful and crunchy on the outside. I got the Korean steak this time around because I must try it. It was good, the scallion rice was good, flavorful. The steak was okay, it tasted good but I think it was a bad cut/quality of steak (they said it was ribeye?), but there were a lot of the silverskin/gristle (connective issue that can't be bitten through). Made the overall steak experience very unpleasant. I'm not sure HOW much I'd want to revisit as they have some pretty good dishes but some others are a little worse quality. Plus because of how busy they can get, the service might be a bit lackluster and even frustrating.

She said wasn't spicy but think she just didn't have enough. - Bone Marrow - lit it on fire to burn off the alcohol. Pretty sure it ddin't get it all so I cut baby off once I realized it. Other than needing some salt, really good. Choke mushrooms on top. One half was scrawny, but hubs had the other half for leftovers and choke marrow. YUM. - Sunchoke and Brussels - YUM. Baby ate some but was not really thrilled about it. I loved it. - Scallop and Mushroom Risotto - YUM. Delish. Baby liked it too. So much leftovers of everything. Realized when we ate it for leftovers it was all pretty oily and needed a pinch of salt. But otherwise great. Staff really nice and helpful. Love that the place is spread out and open. Bathrooms are not assigned which I'm sure can get gross, but is great to not have to wait for just the women's. There is a big stall which was perf since baby is potty training and had to go #1 and #2! Only thing missing was a hook to hang my purse and her bag. Great dinner...but if anyone is listening...bring back the shrimp and grits!!!

The batter was light and crispy with great flavors and had a yummy sauce drizzled on top. It also came with a scoop of rice, buttered corn, and Mac salad. Mac salad was delicious! Prime rib sandwich came with salad and au jus sauce and a side of salad. It's good but also very filling. I didn't try the burger or teriyaki chicken but was told both were delicious. After dinner, we ordered a few items from the bakery to eat on the plane. You have to take a number and wait for them to call it. I got 2 kouign Amannn, 2 Dubai coco puff, and half dozen green tea puff. The kouign amann is a circular croissant. I liked that it was soft and flaky and had a sweet, crispy glaze over it. The Dubai coco puff had a strong pistachio crunchy flavor but I thought it was way too sweet for me personally. The Star of the show are the green tea cream puffs! I would come back to just order that! The top filling tasted like a thick creamy brown butter green tea-flavored icing. The filling inside doesn't taste like brown butter and less thick but still really good. Overall, they had really good food and items from the bakery. Highly recommend the infamous green tea cream and chicken karaage dish! Customer service was quick and professional though I felt like our server wasn't that friendly lol.
