Just OK to be honest. Nothing about this place really stands out in terms of food. Quality is fresh and good, but I'd say that should be a standard that a poke place should be living up to. The restaurant is very Chipotle style where you walk up to a counter and they make your items on the spot as you choose your toppings and things. Service is just so-so. Nothing which really stands out and none of the girls were overly friendly or helpful. Quite honestly, seemed more like they wanted to get my order out of the way so that they could stand and chit chat more. I asked them to not give me rice and instead give me just a poke salad bowl, but they gave me both. Then a few of my toppings were missed, and I had to ask them to go back and get those for me. Overall, I just wasn't impressed with either the food or the service, which is why the 3/5 stars. It was just... OK. I have been a here a few times and it is nice. They fish is fresh and great portions on some of the items. I usually order a half rice half salad with 3 scoops of fish with the poke sauce. Some people don't like that the fish isn't tossed together with the sauce and it is poured over top instead but I like it because it seems to be less wasteful them others where there are a thousand bowls to be washed (we are in a drought) and tons of gloves thrown away (want to bet they aren't recyclable). But the sauce gets on there and the flavors get in so all is fine with me. Currently they charge for avocado because of the shortage it has been both $1 and $.75 so i am not sure what the discrepancy is. Or if they are charging market price which seems odd. But they also charge for extra masago which I really wish they didn't but one scoop is free at least so I will live. They are quite generous with most of the toppings but that depends on who is scooping just like any place. I like to put spicy mayo on top but they do offer several other spicy options that I pass on. I will say the Miso soup is the worst I have ever had and that made me really sad because I love miso. The yelp discount is nice, if the staff know what you are talking about and how to do it (i have had a problem with this and just paid full price). They even have a happy hour special one day a week. ordered from door dash and they completely messed up my order :( the proteins in my two bowls were switched and the regular bowl was missing a protein :( my mom's bowl got my spicy tuna and she cannot handle spice at all so even tho I took it out she's still struggling bc there's some left on the rice. this is the second time I've ordered from door dash at this location and last time they added a sauce i didn't order on my bowl and i didn't like how it tasted (bc i didn't order it for a reason ). i called to complain and the person I talked to was very nice! sorry for complaining right when u clocked in but to end this review i am very very sad (this place is so expensive i can barely eat here and the fact this is the second time in a row my order was wrong makes me so sad) and door dash only gave me an 8$ refund to an order that costed 35$ after all the door dash fees included. i will not be ordering from here again which sucks bc i only use door dash :( but ty to the nice person on the phone lmao read more

My new favorite poke spot! The regular size bowl is fairly large. The fish is so fresh and you get 3 scoops with the regular size bowl. My favorite part is the sauces! Been to several different poke places recently and this one is another good one. I got the regular size bowl with tuna and tako. I usually get yellowtail but they do not offer it there. Some of the things I like are that there is no charge for avocado and seaweed salad as a couple other poke places do charge. I also like that they have the crispy fried onions and edamame. Those have become some of my fav toppings lately. The cucumbers here are unique as they are the vinegar marinated ones you get in Japanese restaurants. Haven't seen that at other poke joints yet. Their bowls are wider and more shallow and are better as you can see your bowl items better. I ate a bowl there and took one to go and they include a ziplock bag of ice to help keep it chilled. That's pretty cool. The poke sauce is on the sweeter side and I prefer tangy sauce but I still enjoyed it. They do have 3 levels of their volcano sauce but I opted for volcano 1 sauce. Throughout the whole food ordering she kept looking towards the glass door (behind me) and never looked at me when asking what I want. I don't know if she realized I'm a paying customer, that is actually in the store, not outside. She was very distracted (or simply just did not really care about her job) but as someone who works in customer service, it is very important that your customer feels satisfied with the whole experience. I honestly would like to rate them higher for the food but the service made me not want to go back. Food: $1 for Avocado scoop (Understandable due to the prices) Paid around $10. For what I got, NOT worth it. The bowl may look bigger but the contents are small. I can pay $8 at other poke places and still have left over food. Albacore-was not fresh tasting. My salmon and tuna were on point. Note: THEY DO NOT mix the sauce with the fish, it is just drizzled on top. My favorite Poke place! This place gives generous scopes of fish and so many toppings for only about $10 for the 3 scopes of fish bowl. I usually get 2 scopes of salmon and 1 scope of spicy tuna with half salad and half brown rice as base. The toppings includes edamame, masago, seaweed salad, imitation crab, avocado (they recently started charging $1 per scope), crunchy onion flakes, and seaweed/sesame mix. It is super filling and i get full even with just pure salad as my base. I highly recommend this place to any poke lover and this place is way better than pokenometry in my opinion. this place definitely lives up to the hype. I feel bad giving one star, because I actually like the food a lot. However, I am huge on service, and time and time again I have come into this place to be treated like I'm not a customer but someone who just barged into a conversation etc. This has happened to me on every visit, and I usually come about once a month. I just went about a week ago, when I walked in the employee at the bar had just finished ringing up a customer. I stood at the other side of the bar waiting for her to come over, she did her best to ignore me and finally came over after about a minute or two. There was no smile, no friendly greeting.. just "what do you want?"... okay. So I read my friends order from my phone, after each request she says "and?" As if I'm annoying her.. we finish the first order, then I go back to the counter and start mine. It's the same energy, annoyance as if I'm bothering her. I go to pay, this day was also during the heat wave, so it's 115 degrees outside... in the past when I've came, they always put a ziplock bag of ice in my bag, because of the fish and food temp, she doesn't though. So I ask her for it... she huffs and puffs and throws it in my bag. I pay, and then I ask her if she is okay? She ignores me and shoved my receipt at me, so I ask her again. She goes, "you have had an attitude since you walked in here." Which was not true, but I told her if she felt that was the case, it is not her place to try to reprimand me with bad service, she works for poki tiki it's not the other way around. She just kept saying I don't care, bye, bye! So I asked for her manager, she laughed and ignored me again. I said I wasn't leaving until I spoke to him, she then said I'm not going to get him, you swear as if he's going to tell me anything anyway. So then I went to another employee, asked them to grab the manager after they waited on there customer, they said they would and then the first girl went to get him instead. I spoke with him outside, and let him know I can go anywhere for poki! Literally anywhere! He is ruining a good business with bad people, I told him I would try them one more time, but after writing this I'm not so sure anymore. read more

She was the one taking my order. I had a plugged ear and had a hard time hearing. She snapped at me when I couldn't hear her questions. But I thought I told her my order. She yelled at me and I even apologized to her. She didn't even thank me. It just seemed like she wasn't happy to be there or just didn't like Asian people. Such an amazing place to eat. I was around the area due to the fact I was in st. Joseph. My boyfriend stopped by 20 minutes before they closed, the staff was super friendly and the portions are so great for the price! Portions are so much more than anywhere else. I was running errands in Orange and based on the Yelp reviews, decided to try Poke Tiki. Since most of the ingredients in a poke bowl are raw, it is hard to disguise mediocre quality. I ordered a regular bowl with all of the free toppings. IMO the baby greens were tasteless as was the raw fish. The "Crab" tasted like it was borderline spoiled. I doused the salad with volcano sauce, but then it just tasted like the sauce. Yes, the bowl was inexpensive, but given the quality of the ingredients and the overall taste, I can't recommend it. read more
