    Undercooked flautas
    Dale Z.

This location needs to step it up if they want to last. They always forget something on to-go or drive thru orders, which is frustrating. Ordered the flautas today and they were undercooked and chewy/ soggy. NOT how flautas should be served. Probably won't be back for a while and will for sure never order the flautas again.

Don't like the sides and chicken is pre-cooked and wrapped in paper so the skin is soggy.

The food here is really good and my mom is obsessed with this place. The chicken is really good and I like the green hot sauce.

Decent food but the price is high. I prefer the tacos across the street at Las Angela's.

I said no fucking beans like 20 times and while handing over my order asked the server again. Still mixed beans in my order. Worst service

The Good: The…read morecustomer service is very friendly. Very kind workers who are very helpful and explains the menu well. I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant with the large mural of a Hawaiian beach and simple island decor peppered throughout. The restaurant is also very clean. I also was fairly happy with the portion sizes for the chicken dishes. The vegetables in the Hawaiian plates were cooked very well and were really good complements with the lunch meals. What didn't work for me: The decoration alone is where this stopped feeling like a Hawaiian restaurant. The Hawaiian plates felt more Asian inspired rather than true Hawaiian inspired. The flavor is excellent, don't get me wrong, but I felt it was a bit of an identity crisis. The Beef BBQ short rib pieces were fatty and overcooked. I had only a few tender bites of beef but the rest was so chewy and fatty that I had to spit it out. Also only had 6-7 pieces of short rib for a $20 plate which I didn't really feel was worth it. The chicken katsu was crispy however I didn't care for the quality of the chicken meat. It was very stringy and tough to bite through in some areas. I was very much looking forward to the macaroni salad but it was just fine. I had high hopes for this one but it just wasn't creamy enough to blow me away. If you have ever visited a Hawaiian island and ever felt like you needed a fix of that memorable vacation, this place won't bring you back to those island memories but you will still be treated very well from a very kind staff. Their attitude is very aloha however I hope one day I can take a bite of their meal and be transported back to island vibes. I would recommend this place if you want solid Asian flavors, but not Hawaiian island specific flavors.

Their…read morePakistani-style chicken biryani for just $4.99 is a steal the portion is generous and the quality is surprisingly great for that price. You can tell it's made with care, not just rushed food. I usually prefer Hyderabadi biryani (India)but trying this Pakistani-style version was something different for me and I actually liked it for a change. It has its own unique flavor and style that stands out. The owner, I believe his name is Br Arshad, is extremely humble and very attentive. He personally makes sure customers are taken care of, which really adds a nice touch. One thing to keep in mind it's better to call before going. They prepare the biryani fresh every few hours, so you'll most likely get it hot and freshly cooked, which makes a big difference in taste. I also noticed that not just the biryani, but their other menu items are very reasonably priced. Definitely planning to go back and try more. Their weekend lunch buffet also looks very attractive and is priced quite low compared to other places. The ambiance is simple, not fancy, but the hospitality and customer service are top-notch. That kind of warmth is hard to find these days. Really hope they continue the same quality and service going forward.
