Came here last night 3/31/26 around 8pm. They were extremely busy. I was impressed with the service. I've been eating Popeyes a lot lately and find myself constantly craving the spicy chicken sandwiches. I hadn't been to this location before, but I was impressed. I thought the young man at the front counter was handling everything impressively well. There were a lot of people waiting for orders. I did a mobile order and after a while the app said the order was ready for pickup on the Popeyes app. When I minimized the prompt, it said they were still working on it. I went up just to check if it was ready and the young man immediately went to the back and grabbed two sandwiches and scooped the fries I ordered as a side dish. I was about to remind him about the drinks but before I could complete my first word, he was like and I remember you ordered two drinks let me get you the cups. Then he handed me the bag with the cups and said thank you for your patience, I'm sorry you were waiting a while. He was very polite and calm even with 10 people crowding the counter waiting for their food. Everything was hot and tasted well cooked. I've been experiencing inconsistent quality with my spicy chicken sandwiches across nova Popeyes locations. This one was very good! I like mine actually spicy. Sometimes it seems like other locations are giving me a classic sandwich with spicy mayo. There is so little spice in the actual chicken. This location had properly marinated spicy chicken and it was so good. I also ordered a plain classic chicken sandwich (no toppings) and there was a mess up there, but it was all good. No way with how busy it was I would've expected them to notice that detail, and it wasn't a big deal for me. The classic chicken was well cooked as well, steam coming out when taking a bite. The bathrooms (both male and female) at this location were very clean! I was shocked (in a good way). This was a busy location compared to other ones I've been too that are dead but they somehow manage to have the nastiest bathrooms. I can deal with extra water laying around the sink, or toilet paper on the floor. I've been to Popeyes locations in high income areas that had literal poop all in and around the toilet, walls, and sink. I'm looking at you South Riding! It wasn't just one time either, it was twice. Their whole restaurant smells like poo the second I walked in both times and the people are not friendly or efficient. South Riding Popeyes is dead and they somehow end up having the nastiest bathrooms and I end up waiting over 30 minutes for a chicken sandwich. 10 of those minutes are waiting at the counter by yourself hoping someone will come out from the back to take your order with no other customers in sight. This Popeyes here in Manassas had so many customers and the staff handled themselves well. Even the people in the back were in a jovial mood while they worked as fast as possible. This is not the first time it has happened to me and for whatever reason I give this place a chance because it's closer to me than going to Sudley which is a lot better in getting my order right. Ordered 4 spicy blackened chicken wrap and specifically asked for no pickles. First off, I ordered this via DoorDash. When I got the food, I opened the box and saw that they sold me DARK meat. I was angry with myself because I thought I didn't check the box that said, WHITE meat at first until I went back on to the DoorDash website and saw that Popeyes does NOT ask you for a preference. They ask if you want mild or spicy, sides, drink, etc., but they NEVER ask you what parts of the chicken you want. They sell you the cheapest quality. Their chicken is already way overpriced. Then, with delivery fees, and BS taxes and other "fees," they have the gall to NOT ask you what pieces of the chicken you would like? The drumstick was as small as the drumette piece of the wing. I tried to report this to corporate and they suggested I contact DoorDash. Why? DoorDash does NOT prepare the food! This is my one of many Popeyes that I've visited in nova so far and I think this is one of the best ones. Unlike other Popeyes, these guys actually provide napkins! Shown in the photo, they include napkins in the bag of your order along with my chicken sandwich and a soft drink. My mom requested they give us extra 2 chickens for our family meal in lieu of a side, and the manager grumpily agreed to one. The first time we went, they were again, out of a side, but they were more than willing to accommodate. We began to visit this location frequently. One of the sides I got was corn on the cob, but it was unfortunately bad; I contacted the store, and they allowed me to come in and get a different side.
