This pizza spot is AMAZING. I have two words for you: GARLIC KNOTS. They are worthy of immense praise. The pizza is phenomenal too. I also tried the Caesar salad and it was enough for two servings. Service was really good too, they're super polite and efficient over the phone and the food was ready in the exact time they gave me. The parking lot is small, I can't call their location a true strip mall but it's a small corner area. I live nearby and I'm holding back on getting those delicious garlic knots every other day. SO delicious! If you want delicious, quality pizza please don't hesitate to get pizza from Porky's Pizza! read more

An easy win for any large group gathering. This past weekend I hosted a group of friends at my new place. Being fresh to Long Beach I wanted to find a dining option that could feed 15+ people without breaking the bank. Porky's easily met this criteria. We ordered a number of their 'family feast' offerings which includes a large pizza, salad, garlic knots, and wings. Their pizza is cheap and easy, as well as deliciously filling. But what really steals the show is their garlic knots and ranch. Paired together or separately, these menu offerings are memorable. I grew up frequenting this local chain, so it's only right that it contributes to my community building in LB. read more

Ordered the sweet pig in a large, pizza was good, it take the traditional Hawaiian and turns it up a notch. Their wings was ok. Felt like the chicken was lacking more seasoning. Overall good pizza and wing for a game night. Would recommend eating In person as everything does taste a lot better right out of the oven. read more

This crew got hungry while swimming! Then, thanks to Porky's on 7th and Xiemeno (the BEST PIZZA in LB!) we picked up 10 pizzas and everybody had a slice and it was bom!! If you call ahead it makes it sooo easy, just cruise in, pay up, cruise out with Pizza Boxes loaded up with the goods! I made a phone order, the kid over the phone was very polite and took my order with attention to detail. The food was ready in 30 minutes when we got home everything was still hot and ready to enjoy. The quality, taste is still the same after I tried Porky's for the first time. I love how they make sure the pizza's are loaded, other pizza places don't do that. This pizza was a hit! We were in Long Beach to watch my nephew play baseball and we wanted a bite to eat. This pizza place was right next to the park we were at so we phoned it our order . The employees on the phone were really nice and they were also really nice and helpful when I went to pick out my order. The pizza looked like TV pizza , very nostalgic and it tasted so good and my family enjoyed every single bite while we sat and watched some baseball. This is a pick up / order online kind of place, just a counter, no seating. Ordered their $19.99 XL one ingredient pizza and an order of garlic knots. Pizzas are made to order and in 15 mins my pizza and knots were taken to my car in the parking lot. The pizza was good and so were the garlic knots. Would visit again when in the area. read more

Their Cheese Blanket is not what it used to be. It looks like a regular pizza. Very disappointing, after paying extra for the Cheese Blanket. So, it was a very expensive, ordinary pizza. With the high prices of many things, we're going to be more selective when ordering or eating out, and I doubt we'll order from Porky's any time soon. read more

I love the pizza here and the service is always quick and friendly. For me, I love to get the Parmesan crust and the pizza cooked well done. The Atlantic location doesn't have a place for dining inside but the inside is nice and has a lot of history hanging on the walls. read more

Ok... so, online they carry specials... perfect ! But when you call and ask for their specials, the ad states 2 XL pizzas for $30.99 so perfect, let's do that ..... but then they say the ad is wrong by $3.99.... ok? So why have you not fixed it ??? Next....$5 delivery fee! Ok cool, don't need to tip the driver ?.... WRONG AGAIN!!! That $5 goes to the company .... the tip is separate .... So for two pizzas at their advertised price with a $5 tip I end up paying $51.49.... how in the hell did it go up $21+. This is beyond ridiculous. Be transparent and do what you have to do!!!!!! I came here with 2 other gals cuz we were craving pizza and salad. This place is minutes away from my house and I hadn't tried it so we ordered a pizza with mushrooms, pepperoni and olives and a Caesar's salad. The salad was great. Hard to mess that up. But the pizza dough was undercooked, the cheese barely melted and the mushrooms were just layered on top of the pizza not baked in. Who does that? Not sure they were even washed cuz they looked dirty and old. All of us got sick! Perhaps from the uncooked pizza dough or the mushrooms. We couldn't figure it out. We never ate the pizza. Here it is the next day sitting on top of my trash can. It' was a sad day. The service was good aka the guy who was making the pizza was nice but Skip this place and go elsewhere. read more

I LOVE PORKY'S PIZZA SO MUCH. It's, hands down, mine and my husband's favorite pizza place. He used to live next to the one in Yorba Linda, but sadly we live super far from all Porky's locations so we only get it when we're in the area. Please open more locations in LA/Northeast LA! This location is in a small plaza with ample parking. It's never busy when I go! I recommend calling ahead of time and ordering for pickup. It usually takes 20-30 min for your pizza to be ready. Our go-to is a pineapple pizza with the CHEESE BLANKET. If you like cheese and garlic, YOU MUST ORDER THE CHEESE BLANKET! It's seriously a game changer... I'm literally drooling just thinking about it. We always get an XL because the pizza is so good that we can't get enough of it. The pizza also tastes great even as leftovers. Pricing isn't too bad either. It's usually less than $30 for an XL. Overall, I can't recommend Porky's enough! read more

Sweet 'N Spicy Pizza is freaking glorious. Garlic Knots are always bomb. Service is always great, delivery guys are great. My only complaint would be the price seems a little on the high end for pizza. Which I wouldn't mind if y'all didn't charge extra for a side of ranch on top of that. I ordered a pizza from them on Thursday, November 14, 2019, and it was the WORST pizza I've ever eaten, but I was so hungry at all but two pieces. It wasn't even HOT on delivery. The last time I ordered, I asked for Thin crust and they gave us a regular. They did, however, gave us the 32oz coke for free in reparation. The only thing that made it palatable was the German beer I was drinking. Also, it was too salty (pepperoni & mushroom). That night, I had to rush to the bathroom because I had the runs! I spent all of Friday, November 15, I spent the whole day on the toilet with the runs and slept most of the day. Needless to say, I will NEVER purchase pizza from Porky's pizza again. read more

I had this a few years ago (after I remembered loving it in high school) and it was ok. Nothing memorable and not worth getting again. I decided to give it another try tonight and it was so delicious. Garlic knots were bomb (as always) and the pizza was super delicious! We got a medium pepperoni and sausage. It was great! I ordered the Sweet'n'Spicy and also got some garlic knots. Love the garlic knots because of the type of bread used. It is soft and properly seasoned. It also comes with a generous small tub of marina sauce. Super good! The pizza comes loaded toppings layered on top of a delicious crust. My pizza had the right balance between the sweet, being the pineapple and the spicy being the red peppers. I will definitely order from them again and hope to try all their menu items. Driving by we spotted this hole in the wall place on 7th. I've Seen the drivers all over the city so stopped to check it out. It's a little busy and everything is done by hand so not fast food pizza. Took a while but the pizza was great. I got the meat pizza and it is packed with meat and dripping in bacon. Wow. It was so good. They were really busy tonight bc several people made the same mistake and just dropped in for a pizza. Lol. The folks working were super nice and apologetic about the delay. I thought that was very professional. So we took the pizza to beach by the pier and ate some good pizza. Will be back. Thanks guys for the great dinner! read more

The family deal is a great value, and it was the perfect amount of food for two adults and two teens. The pizza crust was perfectly puffy and crispy, and the garlic knots were heaven. The wings were kind of meh, not a lot of meat, but everything else made up for their mediocrity. We will definitely order from here again. read more

We parked at a garage at the City Place Shopping Center a block away that has free parking for the first two hours, so it's definitely worth it. There's also some street parking if you can find it, but keep it simple and park at the garage so you're not worrying about time. I've been told that they check parking at the Burger King next door, so don't park there. The 4th Horseman is located off of 4th St & Solana Ct. It's a 21 and over bar, so absolutely no kids allowed (completely heavenly to get away from screaming brats for a while). There's a small stage in front for when they have bands, trivia nights, comedy shows, movie nights, etc. There's bar seating and plenty of tables all throughout the joint, so if you don't readily find a spot to squat keep on walking and you'll find something. It's a full bar, so they have whatever's your poison. For food there's pizza (by the slice or full pies), calzone, salad, brussels sprouts, and sourdough knots. We kept it simple and had the Slasher Pizza (pepperoni) with a Basic Salad. We sat in the back past the bar, which is where they have a pool table and a bunch of arcades to kill some time. There's a self-serve water station, but if you need anything else just go to the bar and they'll be more than happy to help you out. The pizza and salad were pretty good! If you're more health-conscious, they have a lot of vegan options to choose from. If you don't care about that, the pizza slices are huge and have the perfect amount of grease while you're pounding drinks! Honestly, I'm a big fan of The 4th Horseman! Growing up a metalhead, the music and atmosphere are nice and cozy for me. The employees were all really nice, which is always a big plus when trying something new. My only regret was not grabbing some of their merch on my way out, but next time we make the trip I definitely will!

When it came time to grab some food, we were able to get a table inside. Majority of the breweries tends to serve pretty much the same things, pizza sandwiches and salads. No complaints here. Simple food goes a long way. There were a couple of us so we grabbed a few things to share. Started off with the pretzel balls with cheese dip and honey mustard and the chips with queso cheese dip. Pretzel was tasty and outdid the queso dip. Pizzas of course which were pretty big in sizes. A couple of the pizzas and a salad did four of us with leftovers. Their Hawaiian pizza was quite tasty and was finished. We also ordered one of the mushroom pizzas with an egg. It was tasty but a little on the salty side. The arugula salad was delicious. Simple but tasty. And then there was ham pizza I believe with onions and peppercini. That was also a favorite of the night. Overall, the place was quite fun. Not a big brewery and more intimate. The crowd was great and as most places are very kid and family friendly. There was couple of kids when we arrived. Service was great. Food and drinks were enjoyed and the service and staff were excellent. Street parking available along the front but also along the neighborhood.

A couple things to know before you go: parking isn't great, and the restaurant gets busy. We showed up around 5:00 p.m. and only waited about 20 minutes, but I could see larger parties having a much longer wait. My go-to dish is the Pad Kra Prow Eggplant with chicken. It's a Thai basil stir-fry with eggplant, onion, and Thai chilis, and I absolutely love it. We also ordered the mussel curry, which my friend picked, and it completely surprised me. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, but it was excellent. The standout, though, was the Khao Soi Noodle Soup with sliced rib-eye beef. Somehow I'd never ordered the dish they're most famous for, and now I understand why. It absolutely lived up to the hype. The broth with the rib-eye was incredible and is something I'd recommend to anyone visiting for the first time. My biggest criticism is that the rice portions feel smaller than they used to. With how much delicious curry and sauce you get, I found myself wishing there was just a little more rice to soak everything up. I also noticed that the green beans in the Pad Kra Prow Eggplant are very al dente. Personally, I'd prefer if they were blanched just a bit so they were slightly more tender. If the goal is to add texture, I'd almost rather see crunch come from something like cashews instead--but that's just my preference. For dessert, we had the mango sticky rice and another dessert with sweet milk dumplings and red beans. Both were fantastic and a great way to end the meal. Vibes of the restaurant are great. It's a small venue, but they work quickly, and a staff was very welcoming. Overall, Chiang Rai continues to be my favorite Thai spot in Southern California. If it's your first visit, the Khao Soi with sliced rib-eye is absolutely the dish I'd tell you to order.

We were seated outside, which also looked nice at first glance, but I noticed quite a few spider webs around the windows. My boyfriend even felt webs brushing against his arm while we were sitting there, which wasn't exactly the extra ambiance we were expecting. We ordered quite a bit: spicy Pad Thai, Bang Bang Shrimp, Pad See Ew, mango sticky rice, and of course the Thai tea with the popsicle. I'll give credit where it's due. The Bang Bang Shrimp was easily the best thing we ordered and was absolutely delicious. The Thai tea popsicle also lived up to the TikTok hype, although the actual Thai tea itself was on the sweeter side. If you love sugar, you'll probably enjoy it. My biggest complaint with the food was the spicy Pad Thai. The flavor was great, but it came with what felt like a whole chicken farm and a cameo appearance from the noodles. I ordered Pad Thai, not chicken with noodle garnish. The Pad See Ew was also noticeably salty. Now you're probably wondering why I'm giving this place a low rating if most of the food was decent. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the meal. When it was time to pay, my aunt was figuring out how much everyone needed to Zelle her since the restaurant only allows a maximum of two cards for split payments. While we were trying to do the math, our waiter stood over us watching the payment screen like he was supervising a final exam. He was clearly waiting to make sure a tip was entered. My aunt politely asked him to give us a minute, and thankfully he walked away. Maybe when you see a family actively calculating a bill, that's your cue to...actually give them a minute. Keep in mind we also tipped 20% despite all this. Throughout the meal, he did stop by our table, but it rarely felt like he was checking in to make sure everything was okay. If anything I felt rushed. He also gave off that "customer service smile" that disappears the moment you stop looking. The cherry on top for me happened as we were leaving. We had been sitting on the outdoor patio talking for a bit after paying, which is pretty normal for my family. Before leaving, I went inside to ask where the restroom was. The guy and girl behind the bar looked at each other, laughed, and then asked if I was a paying customer. Keep in mind, I was literally holding a to-go bag with leftovers from the restaurant. I responded, "Yeah, I just finished eating," while holding up the bag that made it painfully obvious. Only then did they tell me where the restroom was. Nothing says "valued customer" quite like being interrogated about whether you actually ate there while carrying your leftovers. It's unfortunate because the food had some highlights, and the restaurant itself has a cute atmosphere. But the service made it feel like customers are viewed more as transactions than guests. Between hovering over us during payment and questioning whether I even belonged there after spending money, I left feeling more unwelcomed than satisfied. I'll happily support a restaurant that appreciates my business instead of making me feel like I have to prove I earned the right to use the restroom after paying for dinner.

I definitely will come back to try other dishes, especially the other popular pasta dishes. This place has been really popular and I heard the line is still long even after a few months (or maybe it has been a year now?). Definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Italian food in town. Very hip, vibey place, and delicious food!

It's so hectic I'm sure, and it's a lot to have to figure out. They were able to make the pizza with pork belly instead of al pastor though. It was pretty good, but honestly forgettable. I also think that their menu is pretty expensive for their portions and offerings. I know they were running low on items, but the toppings were definitely skimpy. I would like to come back to try a couple of more things from their menu, including their extensive variety of beers.
