    a tray of food

Sadly disappointed. The chicken was incredible, but the woman serving seemed irritable and like she would rather be elsewhere... which was confirmed when her friend came in and hung out with her. The price was a little much ($13) for essentially just chicken and rice and the TINIEST of Greek salads which to top it all off had a bug right on top. Giving it two stars since the rice and chicken were tasty though, but I was a little surprised that it didn't come with a pita like many other places will do. Probably won't be returning, but can't say I didn't try!

I was so happy to see they have quite a few dishes to choose from for a non meat eater! I love Mediterranean food and when I find great meals with veggies and protein I remember to come back. The food was fresh, quick and so filling! I love that half salmon and half shrimp combo is on the menu for everyone to order!

Went here for lunch today, I ordered the #2 beef kabob plate which was pretty tasty. My friend ordered the #1 chicken kabob. The order came with two kabobs, rice and some sides. It was pretty filling and all of the flavors complimented each other well. The staff was friendly and made me feel welcomed. The place was a little small but it was clean and there was plenty of seating. It was a little pricy but worth it.

I work in the areas, but never visited this place so decided to try. Honestly this place is sad. Restaurant was laid out nice, it was updated with a digital menu, and very clean. I ordered the number 13 which is the beef/lamb gyro. For $10.00 a got a skimpy wrap that has no sides or drink. The wrap had only a few pieces of meat, 1 strip of lettuce, and a few onions. It was very bland. I won't be back to visit, so many other places where you can get a bang for your buck.

Amazing kabob experience! I wanted to try some kabob for lunch and it was tasty. I ordered Chicken Shish Kabob and Port Eggplant Dip ( was delicious side). I'll definitely come back. If you guys work in john wayne area, you should try the place one day!

Since then, their quality has definitely gone downhill :-( The banana matcha lacked flavor while the banana hojicha had barely a hint of hojicha. The cream tops were delicious but required a LOT of mixing for the drinks to taste ok overall. I haven't been here for awhile partly due to the growing crowds & wonky wifi. It's a popular work friendly cafe & their wifi has a limit of how many people can join so there have been a few times where I couldn't connect during work hours. For a Saturday afternoon, it was fairly empty so that tells you everything you need to know. Seating used to be a struggle on weekends... Super unfortunate as I thought things were looking up for them when they upgraded their matcha :') Seems like they switched back to their old powder

Instead of sleeping through the night, they bleated at the moon until it set. Chewing some of the cherries himself, the goater found himself quite energetic. He brought the fruits to a monastery. This is the story of the Moon Goats. Now what is more satisfying than a delicious pour over? Combine that with an authentic southern biscuit and you've bought yourself a quick entry into nirvana. Very nice ambiance in Moongoat. You can purchase any of the plants in the shop. I even saw a family with children carrying books to read whilst they relaxed and had their coffee and pastries. How nice to see children not using a phone to keep themselves disengaged from their parents. That's the kind of crowd the comes to Moongoat. Beautiful space inside, perfect for breakfast or just a spot to sit down and study or work! I have to say the matcha and hojicha lattes were a bit disappointing. I've seen this place on IG some time ago and was interested in checking it out anyway. Really like the motorcycle and vintage typewriter theme in a mechanics garage turned into a coffee shop. This place reminds me of Carbon Canyon Coffee (for the motorcycle theme) and Blue Flame Coffee (for the garage). Drinks look quite unique as well. I wanted to try its Caramel Banana Latte but wanted something light and refreshing after a heavy meal, so opted for Yuzu Tonic (with espresso) and Peach Ring Tonic with cold foam (seasonal special). Both drinks were excellent, but I think the price is high and portion is small compared to other places. I wouldn't complain too much about the price if these were served in a 16 oz. cup like most places but these were served in 12 oz. cups. Still giving five stars because service was welcoming and friendly. Barista greeted us when we entered and when we left.

I nearly gave up but right when I was about to drive away, the first designated parking space for Gremlin Garage became available so I got parking luckily. It's such a cool space and vibe inside, and the barista was so nice. I ended up getting two drinks off their spring specials, the Kyoto Fog with vanilla instead of lavender, and the Puff Puff Pass. Both were great, but I prefer the Kyoto Fog more for the tea taste. The Puff Puff Pass was refreshing with notes of pandan and coconut water. I definitely finished my drink fast and noticed more ice than I'd have liked. Overall, cool idea for a coffee shop and good drinks!

L&L is located in a huge industrial complex with tons of parking (not sure how it is during weekdays though when the other businesses are open). The coffee shop is HUGE with plenty of seating and from the looks of it- lots of regulars hanging out and enjoying their sip. Walk in and fall in line to select your coffee of choice. You can scan their QR code of items - just wish prices were posted too. L&L roasts their beans and after just one sip, you can taste the difference! I had a vanilla latte while hubby had their toffee latte. As it turns out they make their own toffee syrup which is amazing!!! They also have a great selection of foods- burritos, avo toast, quiche, a variety of bagels and a nice assortment of scones, muffins and croissants. We shared a chorizo burrito filled with potato, egg, cheese, chorizo then toasted. It came with 2 different sauces - and cool and creamy cilantro and a smokey mocajete. This too was delicious and we were so glad to have ordered this. Staff were super friendly, welcoming and very helpful. All good vibes here! Look forward to returning!!!

I think I've only had like a small instance where the internet got a little slow but other than that this is a pleasant spot to visit. You can also rent a study/conference room from the church. I sent a message before because I needed a spot to do my final oral exam virtually. There is a small fee but unfortunately no one got back to me. There is a QR code that takes you to a site where you fill out a form to request the space. Now, these requests are handled specifically by the church not the coffee spot. Although it is in the same area. The staff is super friendly. The restrooms are always clean. Handicap friendly. Not necessarily kid friendly because a lot of people come here to study and work, and its also all concrete and hazards for the small ones, but I have seen people do like babies on strollers type of gathering.

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast.
