Easy peasy for Passport renewal: They took my photo, had the correct form to complete, knew how to expedite, and had told me ahead of time to bring a check so I could make it out to the US Dept of State for same. The Annex was clean and bright, and the new owner was very nice and helpful. After the disaster of trying to sort passport renewal through one of the library pop ups (can't make a reservation more than 14 days in advance, can't tell you which library has it on which date so you know when it's 14 days, can't choose a location online other than downtown office, downtown office phone not working for questions, etc.) I was thrilled to discover I could manage this locally and immediately. read more

First off I realize they don't scan USPS parcels when dropped off. I dropped a prepaid parcel on a Saturday morning at 11:15am, was assured multiple times it would be picked up by 1:00pm. I went to this location twice today. I met the new owner, who was really sweet and helpful. It was quite busy at the time and he managed all of it so well! Later in the day I needed to go back to mail an item and I purchased a mailing label. I realized I made a mistake and asked for a refund. The worker who was there at the time was helpful UNTIL I asked for a refund for the shipping. She said she couldn't do any refunds because the owner wasn't there. I asked if she could contact the owner and see it could happen. At this point, she asked me to wait outside!!! Really? Wait outside? What am I? Four years old? (BTW, it was raining and NO ONE else was in there). Power trip anyone? Of course I didn't wait outside. When she returned to let me know that he kindly allowed the refund I expressed my thanks. Then she proceeded to scold me for asking to make this happen. With which I promptly responded "it was an honest mistake" and I apologized for the frustration it caused. I also mentioned that I have brought a lot business there and she is in the service industry so it would be nice if she acted like it. Her attitude was not appreciated. She was stone-faced and responded with "ok?" Owner was professional and friendly and seemed to be excited to be the new owner. Will never go back unless I can work with him directly. The employee today...thumbs down. Maybe she was having a bad day? If not, she does not belong in the service industry. #attitudeadjustmentplease Hopefully Richard still works there! Great little local business! Can mail back USPS, Fed EX, UPS, DHL all in one spot. They also do passport photos and applications and are a notary!
