I went to this shop because it is convenient to my office. The first time I went the sandwich was very mediocre, but I thought I would give them another chance. I asked for mayo ON THE BREAD. Not only did I not get what I asked for, but also one measly slice of turkey. For $7.00 for a half of sandwich I would think I could get a little mayo and more then one slice of turkey. My first experience here was good only because the manager was so nice and accommodating. We ordered take out for 2 adults and 3 kids. We've never been to a Potbelly before so the ordering process and menu was new to us. We ordered 3 sandwiches, 2 Mac n cheese sides and a shake. The sandwiches we ok, nothing particularly special. We had the Mediterranean with onions, tomato and lettuce , I think I should have ordered more toppings to make the ratio of bread to filling a little better. The big Italian with lettuce, tomato and onion was ok but had a piece of plastic wrap inside he sandiwch :( luckily it was spotted before the last bites were eaten A ham and bacon sandwich, my son liked it, but how can you NOT like bacon One Mac and cheese came out when it was time to pay but the milkshake and the other Mac was missing....I think the ordering process for non-sandwich items can use improvement. read more

First time trying Potbelly Sandwich shop the other day. Staff was helpful and friendly. I got the Cuban flatbread and my husband tried the turkey club. Both we're very good. My only gripe is they were a little chintzy with the meat and fixings. read more

Hello manager! You need to do something about your drive-through. We sat in line for 15 minutes while a car stayed at the drive-through. We had a online drive-through order. Why don't you make the people park if the sandwiches aren't ready to keep the line moving along! Then when we got to the window they gave our order to someone else. Now we're sitting again in the parking lot waiting for them to remake the order. So frustrating! read more

Potbelly has always been an old time favorite from back in college, although, it's a great sandwich anytime! There are plenty of options available, made fresh right in front of you, and served up fresh and delicious. This location hits all the checkpoints - it's clean, friendly, and the service is quick. Not a good experience. Our first time today. My wife got a turkey sub and I got the Italian. Wow, what a big disappointment. Both sandwiches had very little toppings. The little lettuce was not the nice green part but the old white part you normally throw away. Not very much meat and not very tasty. Very dry sandwiches. Hard to eat. My wife couldn't finish hers. My son ordered the BLT and the bacon was burned to a crisp...I LIKE crispy bacon, but this was simply burnt. Awful awful awful. This is the 3rd time we've had issues with the service and I am done. After waiting 5 minutes in the drive-thru (for two sandwiches) we are asked to pull forward and park. After 10 minutes and watching 4 cars after us get their food in the drive-thru my husband goes in and asks the guy where our food is. He ignores him. He asks again. My wife and I like Potbelly's food and frequent this location since it is near our home. I am not exaggerating when I say that every single time I have visited this location they have made some kind of error on our order. Whether it is wrong toppings or wrong sandwich all together they get it wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME. It is to the point where I need to park after going through the drive through to make sure my order is correct. Update 06/22/19: next visit following this last review. Order was wrong again. I'm starting to believe there is something fundamentally wrong with how this location is managed. It's almost comical that I now have to expect my order to be wrong on every visit. read more

My wife ordered two sandwiches at the drive thru. Both were supposed to come with lettuce and tomato. Got home--no lettuce or tomato on either sandwich. She called and spoke to a manager who offered to remake the sandwiches. I drove back and they gave me the new sandwiches. Not a single apology or offer of a future discount for our troubles until I said, "Thanks I guess," then the cashier offered a half-hearted, "Yeah I'm sorry, it happens...you know." That was all we got. They even took back the old sandwiches that were missing lettuce and tomato. I figured the food must be amazing if they didn't want to give any away for free or at a discount. Wrong! The chicken on the chicken and cheddar was bland. Bread was burnt. Absolutely zero flavor. My wife said her turkey sandwich was dry and bland as well. If you want to eat a bland sandwich and receive poor customer service, check out Potbelly's in Gilbert on Market Street before they go out of business. read more

Super loyal to this potbelly's. My husband and I work from home and always order delivery directly from their website. Usually, it arrives in 30 minutes. Today it took two hours. Everything arrived and was soggy, cold, and sad. Sucks because we always loved our experience here and always make sure tip generously. read more

By far the best sandwich I've had in a long time! I'm so glad I found Potbelly! And they have a drive thru! All high quality ingredients. The bacon and pickles are the best. Potbelly burned me before, refer to my previous review dated 3/11/19. I decided to give them another try tonight around 7:00 PM. Overall they couldn't serve me because they were "busy." I noticed one lady in line in front of me, two cars in drive-thru, and 3 (maybe 4) employees. As I approached to order, one of the employees stated they were " busy and short staffed, and it would be a few moments." I waited approx. 10 minutes for someone to take my order. During this time, I observed total disorder; For example one of the employees exclaimed - "I lost a sandwich," and another one made an incorrect order. After this observation along with the wait time plus my previous experience, I decided to leave for good. Seems like nothing has changed. Sorry. read more

This was my first time ever having potbelly's sandwiches. The staff was very nice and answered my questions without any hesitation or attitude. The prices are very fair for a good toasted sandwich. I had the turkey club and it costs a bit more because of the "special bacon" it was great. Didn't mind spending the little extra for it at all. I went to this location on 12/5/2020 with a friend. There was no manager on duty, and the staff didn't seem to know how to do anything smoothly without a manager's guidance. I stood at the counter waiting to order for 2-3 minutes before the girl working on the other side of the counter (directly in front of me) even acknowledged my presence. All I wanted was a bowl of soup, so she said I could go straight over to pay for it. I waited a minute or so there for a young man to come over. I'd decided to get two bowls of soup (one to take home with me), so he told the person who would be getting them ready that I wanted two bowls instead of one. That seemed to throw both of them into a bit of a tailspin, but the young man gathered himself a bit and started ringing up my order. He didn't offer me a drink - I had to ask for it. No biggie, but still a lack of service. I told myself that perhaps he was new and still learning. He gave me my drink cup and my soup when I'd paid ($13 for two SMALL bowls of soup and a drink!!!) While this was happening, I was watching everyone else behind the counter. Everyone seemed to be running around with no idea of who was supposed to be doing what. They weren't being very friendly with the customers. In fact, they were BARELY being courteous. In the meantime, my friend ordered a sandwich at the starting end of the counter. She had to go to the other end to pay for it BEFORE they even started making it. Then she had to go back to the middle of the counter and tell the person there what she wanted on her sandwich. Since others behind her in line had already started moving forward, she had to stand behind them and wait for two of them to get their sandwiches fixed first before she got hers. While she was waiting for all this to happen, I went to get a table. They did have every alternate table "closed" due to COVID restrictions, and had the "open" tables labeled with post-it notes that said "This table has been cleaned and sterilized for use." The problem was that NONE of the tables were clean!! There was food scraps/droppings from previous customers on every table. So I went back to the counter and told the person fixing my friend's sandwich (she was still waiting for it) that there were no clean tables and someone needed to come out and clean/sterilize them. She said okay, but nobody came out. I managed to find a table that was clean on one half, so we sat there and used our napkins to wipe off the rest. While we were eating, a couple came in and tried to find a clean table. They went and asked someone to clean a table for them right away. A young woman came out and wiped down one table for them with a damp rag - but did NOT sterilize it. Then instead of cleaning the rest of the tables, she went straight back to the kitchen. She looked like she was mad that she had to come out and wipe tables. We sat eating for another 15-20 minutes, and during that time nobody else came out to clean any tables. I left feedback on the survey site they provide on their receipts. I admit that I did so after 7 days instead of the 3 days requested on the receipt, but I did ask for someone to contact me about my experience. To date I've received no phone calls or emails from the restaurant. I will NEVER go to this location again! read more

This place isnt close to my house by any means and we travel out of the way to go here but usually we like it a lot. Super disappointed and wont be back. The bread on my sandwich was good without being overwhelming. The ingredients were fresh. It was just not made the way I asked. I ordered the Hammie Skinny, and asked for mayo, mustard, lettuce, and tomato. It came with barely two leaves of lettuce and mayo. I asked for a pickle on the side, thinking it would be a dill spear. Nope. I got a skinny slice of dill placed on top of the sandwich wrap. The broccoli cheddar soup was very good -- not too thick and with bits of broccoli throughout instead of one big chunk here and there. Potbelly's carries a different brand of bagged chips called Zapp's. And the restaurant must be famous for its hot pickles as they sell jars of them under their own brand name. Potbelly's also offers shakes and -- something I love that's hard to find -- malts! The salads I saw all looked good, so I'm willing to give this place another try. read more

The set up is a bit confusing, where you order on the other end rather than the cash registers. You kind of have to repeat your orders like 3 times. I didn't care too much for the food here. The turkey club sandwich is AMAZING. However they are roasting and seasoning that turkey...holy cow. Err..holy bird? It's so good. I was bummed to hear they were out of chocolate chip cookies but decided to give the brownie cookie a try per the cashier's recommendation. Worth every calorie. I was just in your store eating. The ice machine was broken which was understandable. There was two people working on that to get it up and running. I had sat down to eat my lunch in the dining room. I realized my butt was getting wet. I happen to looked up and water was dripping from above from the air duck work. I pointed to the two people that were working on the icemaker to let them know that the air ductwork was causing a leak. No one else was working in the dining room area so they were the only ones to tell. They pretty much laughed at me it didn't do anything about it. I suggested they should at least move the tables and chairs from the area of where the water was dripping down on the ground. I have been a long-term customer of Potbelly for a long time this is very disappointing. I would also like to mention all of the tables in the restaurant were dirty with food on them also very disappointing. I did have to wipe the table down before I sat down at the second spot when I let them know about the leak. read more

I love Potbelly and this location it's right by my Dr's office. I've been a few times and have mostly had good experiences, however today was the WORST. I went through the drive thru and the girl had to ask me several times at the window after I had already placed my ordered what I ordered, all to bring my sandwich home and it be wrong and soggy (it's like it wasn't even toasted). Girl at the window wasn't very friendly either. Unfortunately this is the only Potbelly in the area. This is the third time they've messed up my order, but the worst part this time was the quality.
