We called Premier because, to be honest, our sofa smelled like our enormous bulldog that sleeps there and we needed it not to. I have to say I was very pleased with the service. They were prompt and professional. They were also VERY polite. They put covers over their shoes even though it was probably apparent that the floor was already marked up by the aforementioned dog. The dog also harassed them every time I turned my back and they didn't bat an eyelash. I should clarify that by harass I mean jumped on, growled at and became very *ahem* amorous with them. I know... the dog is terribly behaved. But the gentlemen from Premier were amazing about it. All this paired with fair pricing and quick service. We'll definitely use them again!! read more

AMAZING!!! Seriously, don't even look elsewhere. I called 5 different places for cleaning quotes. Premier came in right in line with everyone else, perhaps even lower, and they were able to come two days earlier than anyone else. I had a BAD red wine stain all over a cream couch and white carpet that had set for three days, and I had tried all kinds of carpet cleaners that hadn't done the trick. These guys erased all spots (as well as all of the other awful spots they found on my carpet - at no extra charge) and didn't even charge me for the couch because there was still a faint outline that wouldn't come out due to the type of fabric of the couch. I had to prepare my dad's condo for sale and he had three rooms of off white carpeting. I was afraid I would have to replace three rooms of carpet if it couldn't be cleaned. I shouldn't have worried because Premier did an excellent job. When they were done the carpets looked great. I also had to reschedule on short notice when other work wasn't done on time. Premier was very accomodating. They were able to cancel my appointment and set up a new one as soon as I let them know they could get in the unit. I spilled a large cup of hot tea on my light beige wool rug. The stain was awful and large. I tried several rug cleaners, water, vinegar, etc., and they only made it worse. Then I called Premier. They picked up the rug and one week later returned it looking like new! The stain was completely gone. Needless to say, I am very happy with their work and their service. It was not inexpensive, but the rug was expensive and worth fixing. It was also a very labor-intensive process cleaning up two large stains as well as literally hundreds of spots where the tea had splattered. Other cleaning services were giving us absurd quotes and even suggesting that we get new carpet (when the carpet itself was only 1 year old!). I work for a real estate office and I called this company to schedule an estimate at one of our properties. I knew my request was last minute, but he told me that he could fit us in at 9:00 am. I confirmed the appointment and let my boss know. My boss called me the next morning at 9:12 saying he wasn't there yet. I called him and he told me he was 15 minutes away. At 10:02 my boss called me again saying that he STILL wasn't there. I called him again and he didnt' answer and hasn't returned my call. This was our first experience with the company and we could have provided them with a lot of business but I think it's safe to say that we won't be contacting them again. read more

It's been a month since they came to repair our carpet, and everything has held up great. We had a problem area with cats, that they cut out and patched in with some extra carpet we had. The seams are perfect and you would never know. Best of all, the smell is gone. They also cleaned the remaining carpet in the same room, and a sofa that hadn't been cleaned in years... absolutely loaded with cat hair. They made both look and smell like new. The folks at Premier were extremely nice to me both times I called-the first time to get info, and the second time to book. The guys that showed up were also very nice, professional, and quick. I hate leaving a less than perfect review, but I am disappointed in the overall result. When I originally called I specifically asked about the time it would take to dry and was told 1-2 hours. I have no basis for comparison, and thought this was great. I also confirmed this when I called to book just to be sure. However, after the job was done the cleaners said it could take up to 18 hours, very different than what I was told on the phone. It has been almost 24 hours at this point, and despite having fans on as well as the A/Cs running (recommended by the techs because the humidity outside is higher) they are still wet. Additionally, they also feel sticky to the touch, and the scent from whatever solution they used is just awful. We couldn't even sleep in our bedroom last night because of how wet it was and how strong the odor was. To make matters worse, it looks like there is still some very light staining on part of my carpet in one room, and the rug in another is wrinkly in some areas. I just really expected a lot better based on other reviews, my initial conversation with them, and the cost. read more

I arranged Premier Carpet Services to clean the carpet of my new condo. After repeated confirmations, they proceeded to show up over an hour late, which was unacceptable given they were notified of the time sensitive nature of my appointment time. Upon calling repeatedly to inquire as to where the cleaning crew was, I was continually told they were "2 minutes away". They were "2 minutes away" for 45 minutes. It was clear when they did show up, given their smell, the delay was related to the necessity to buy cigarettes and coffee. These people couldn't have been more unprofessional. No apologies, no discount to make it right, just an F you attitude from the crew. I refuse to pay for that. To summarize, despite the many good reviews, my experience with Premier Carpet Services was a disaster. Avoid at all costs, especially if you expect appointments to honored. If i could give them a -1 star, I would... And yes, I only created a Yelp account so I could warn others away from this lackluster operation. read more

had the carpet at our apt cleaned and they did a great job! we had them clean our LR, stairs, and 2 BDRMs over the summer. they were totally great and flexible even though I was a pain in the butt and had to call and change our time for them to come and clean...they didn't charge extra for coming up the stairs and there were no crazy add on fees. the only thing is that it took longer than 1 hr for the carpet to dry but i'm not complaining since it looked great! we will definitely call them back to come clean our carpet again! read more

I looked around a lot, called up a few carpet cleaning companies that serve schaumburg and the surrounding areas. These guys gave me the a very good estimate. On the day of the cleaning they arrived on time, did an inspection and gave me the accurate amount which matched the estimation. There were no extra charges for stairs or closets. I had a few stains that I thought were pretty hard to remove but these guys did a very good job in removing them and cleaning the carpets. The carpets feel so fresh and nice. We tried a different company first, and they were terrible. Horribly late, overpriced and in the end, our couch was still dirty enough that we had to have them come back to re-clean it. Then, on yelp, actually, we found PREMIER CARPET!!! Totally professional, kind, on time every single time, and made our couch like new for half the cost of the other place. We love them so much that we have since used them three times. Each time, they are just as awesome. They're here right now, cheerfully working, and I can't be more thrilled. I called Premier after reading the reviews here on Yelp! Wow! I am super impressed. Our carpet was brutal and thought it definitely needed to be replaced (I even took pictures to show the landlord, but of course they denied my request.) The customer service was great and came right on time. He quote me a price on estimations over the phone and it ended up be right on...a little high but well worth it ($200). Our apartment has 4 carpeted rooms 1. 15x12 ...2. 10x10...3. 12x10...4. 10x10 and a hallway about 30 feet long. Still amazed they could get 3 year old red wine stains out!!! read more

They made a white rug (not carpet) look like almost new, after years of pet and human wear and tear, They cleaned a white chair upholstery and got the stains out, can't tell it ever had any. I can't imagine ever having my rugs cleaned by any other company. When my rugs were returned they truly looked like new and made both rooms they were in brighter and fresher. When I called in to find out about total charges, the stain removal process and cleaning costs were clearly explained to me. I hadn't anticipated the additional stain removal cost (which, like the regular cleaning prices, was very, very reasonable--especially given the results). Also, there was no delivery charge. The stain removal process removed visible as well as not so visible stains I had long forgotten about. Both the reps who came to remove the rugs and those who came to relay them treated the furnishings they had to move with care. They also wore booties each time they entered my home. The owner/manager, like the field staff, were professional and personable. The experience was so positive that I wish I had more rugs for Premier to clean for me! read more

I used to use Stanley Steamer. After I used Premier carpet cleaning on 4/22/17, I'm so regret that I used Stanley Steamer before! Premier carpet cleaning is 10 times better than Stanley Steamer! although I paid only $50 more than Stanley Steamer's quote. I was going to buy new carpet. Premier Carpet did a fabulous job on my couch and loveseat. I really was happy with the service. And I had sent a few area rugs offsite with them for cleaning and both came back looking great and smelling good too (I have dogs - cleaning was needed!). the one carpet has some white in it and that was looking a bit yellowed and just worn but it came back looking great post cleaning. Overall I was really very happy with the cleaning job on both the furniture and the carpets. I did have to call to ask the status of my carpets because it was talking longer than I expected (by about a week) but ultimately I was very happy and I plan to use them again next time around. read more
