We had a rodent problem and Dom came out to "take care of it." He refused to go in the attic or under the house. We spent nearly $500 to have him set some traps we could set ourselves and sloppily fix foundation vents. We started hearing some new rodents in our attic so I called keystone and requested someone else come out to check Dom's work. The person I spoke with on the phone was working hard to get me off the phone as quick as possible and I could tell was not actually listening to my issue. I insisted I wanted someone else to come out to check Dom's work and to not send him again. They sent out Mike who found entry points that were not sealed. He went under our house to fix some of the foundation vents properly. Not impressed with this company overall, but if you do use them do not have Dom come out to your house. Mike was awesome, but I will not be calling this company again. read more

I agree with other reviews on customer service. They've always been very helpful when I called and answered any questions very thoroughly when they came. Used terminix previously and left b/c the guy assigned to my house was super creepy and after asking several times for a new guy, they kept sending him. Not with keystone. The guys they sent out were always professional and courteous. They also use a more powerful sprayer than other companies, and do a very thorough job spraying all around the perimeter of the house. Only complaint is they are a bit old-school in payment methods. I pay all my bills online, except them because they have no online mechanism for this. I have to auto-charge the credit card (which I don't like), write a check & mail, or call in after each visit and give my cc# over the phone. Not the most convenient, but that's the trade off I'll take for the good service. read more

Today while visiting a friend I witnessed a Keystone Pest Control pull up in front of my friends house, get out of his truck and go to the back where he removed a rat then dropped it on the ground and got back in his truck and drove off. I called the company and reported him,. He was back in like 10 minutes to pick up the rat. But still I wonder how many times they have done this and were not seen and reported. I would not recommend this company as you never know where you will find the pest after they leave. read more

This was the third time we've called Keystone to help us with bugs. This time we called Keystone to help with a Roach problem (German in the kitchen & Oriental cockroaches in the Garage). We always get good service, and this was the best experience so far - Trevor, the technician, was AWESOME! He did an incredibly detailed job of our yard, garage and kitchen. What was great is that he explained everything he was doing and also asked questions so he could help us in the most effective way possible. i have been using this service for a year. What a relief not to have ants in my front and back yard and most importantly inside my house. Really nice not having ants jumping into my pool when its hot. Nothing worse than waking up to see ants in my kitchen, bathroom etc. I don't get spiders in my house (yay!). Had a mice problem at the house last year; gave them a call and they were able to out to set traps and take note of all the repairs necessary the next day. The guy they sent out to take care of the house was punctual and professional, and was able to address any questions and concerns we had. The service also came with a 6 month guarantee, which came into play a few weeks ago when we thought we heard the mice again. They were able to send out the same service tech (I think his name was Torre), who did a quick look through and set some new traps even though he did not find any evidence of new pests. The rate was very reasonable (a lot cheaper than some of the other pest control companies in the area that I had called), and the service was great. Would definitely use them again if I had any other pest issues in the future. read more

We had a rodent issue at our house and I called Keystone to have them take a look at what was going on. They sent out technician Mike same day to come and take a look. Mike knew exactly what to look for to diagnose the rodent issues. I signed up for the complete rodent service which includes not only getting rid of the current problem, but also preventing a future problem. Long story short, there were a total of six rats under our house. Mike completely eradicated our problem. He went above and beyond in workmanship and service. The complete rodent service is worth every penny. I wouldn't hesitate to call Keystone again if needed. I also signed up for yard sprays every other month for ants and spiders. So far, so good. I've used Keystone 3 times in the last 2 years for ants and fleas and each time they have been great. Super effective treatment- ants and fleas went away pretty much the same day they treated the house. Plus service guys are friendly and customer service is great when you call them. These guys are great. Very professional company with great service. I have been using them for over 3 years now and couldn't be happier. They rid our house of spiders and ants. We moved to San Carlos and I couldn't believe how many spiders made their way into and around our house. With 2 small children I hated having spiders everywhere (let alone, I am freaked out by them). It was good when they sprayed my house in 2013. I recommended them to someone else. They had their house sprayed last year and ants already are back. May be they changed their chemical. Or may be their treatment plans simply not good enough. Although I may not be totally agreed with their reply. The other house was only sprayed last year, not 2013. Rudest customer service ever. It was such a waste of our money and they barely ever did anything. They seemed to have not even noticed a rodent issue while they were spraying both the exterior and interior of my house. I fail to see how they could have been doing their job if they didn't even notice that. Their tech also felt it was appropriate to walk around in muddy construction boots all over my house upstairs. They quoted three to four business day turnarounds on service requests. That's when I realized it's time to find a different pest control service. read more

I have used Keystone three times for ant problem. It seems that each year in the heat of the summer, the ants would come out. For the past 3 years, I have called Keystone each time. They came and spray the outside. Those ants who came inside would be gone in a couple of days. I am so glad that they do not need to spray inside. Thank you. read more

We were referred to Scenttek by him and they came and gave us a clean bill of health for beg bugs. We eventually found roof rats and are treating them with traps. Started with great customer support. The ladies are so friendly and very resourceful !! They explained all the options and they even advised me to first check with the HOA to see if HOA had any contracts with a Rodent Control Company. The service person showed up as promised on time, and was a true professional. He explained how the rodents behave and how to prevent them, and how to keep the pets safe from the baits he was setting up. I had an ant problem--spoke with John who quoted a price for 1 time treatment and also for 1 treatment plus every other month treatment. I called the next day because I wanted to get an appointment and spoke with John again so I asked him if he remembered speaking with me yesterday and he said he speaks with lots of people, so I asked the price again and he gave me a different price (which was higher). I said that's not what you quoted yesterday, and he said what did I quote? I told him and he said, well, I'll stand by what I quoted yesterday. I worked with Keystone a few months ago when we had a bad ant problem in the kitchen, and they were able to get someone out (forgot the name, I think it was Jamie) and it was a great experience. He explained the entire process and was very knowledgeable. Given that I hate ants, I signed up for the every-other-month service for spraying. Good thing too. I had more ants (due to rain, unrelated to the first call) and called in. They were able to get someone over same day, which was very surprising! We have been using Keystone Pest Control for a number of years and couldn't be happier. Our home is insect free and on the few occassions we have had an ant issue, Keystone is always quick to respond with an additional spray or whatever it takes to get rid of the "pest." Not only are they helpful with small insects and such, but they were a great resource when we had a raccoon living in our attic. Even though I don't think this is their line of business, they dropped off a cage and helped us catch the animal and release the animal back in to the hills. I am SO GLAD I chose Keystone! Several months ago I started getting mysterious bites all over my body. I couldn't figure out what was biting me--it wasn't fleas, mosquitos, etc. I was worried about bed bugs, but after scouring house meticulously could find no sign. I knew we had rats in our garage as we had seen a carcass . I researched about read up about rat mites. I finally I hired Keystone and they came out and confirmed rats in attic and under house (from droppings). They also searched thoroughly for bed bugs. They closed up small holes through which rats were entering and set traps (a couple were caught). For a while after that my bites continued (rat mites can live for a long time on humans even when rats are gone) so I had Keystone come back and "dust" attic and under house with a safe "poison" that kills mites. After the first dusting, I continued to get bites so they came out again FOR FREE (they have a warranty) and dusted again. This did the trick and my bites stopped and have not had once bite since! I am thankful that I chose Keystone as they were very professional, efficient, knowledgeable and trustworthy! Another plus--the owners of the company (and the office person) were very generous with their time and had long, in depth phone conversations with me numerous times when I had questions or concerns. They never rushed me off the phone. I would highly recommend Keystone! read more
