Do not waste your money on a buffet in Vegas! This place is only open until 2 PM, but every portion and items are received will have a wow factor. Every item is scratch made, with extremely quality ingredients. If our current president was writing this review he would say "their stuff is great, they have great stuff, they have the greatest stuff, stuff that no one else has stuff". The portions are huge, a stack of flapjacks is seven dollars but it is actually two giant pancakes. One pancake is enough and that dish is easily shareable. My favorite dish I had there was the parfait, it is homemade granola with nuts that have been beautifully roasted to where they are soft but still retain some crunch, there are berries that are freshly dried and still a little bit tender and juicy with burst of flavor, it's layered with Greek yogurt, fresh berries and topped with a big chunk of honeycomb. My husband's favorite was the breakfast burrito, it has chicken, sausage, chorizo, cheese, eggs and comes with a beautiful spicy molcajete salsa. There are plenty of choices in Vegas for where you can eat but if you want to quality meal, for a fair price, that is going to stuff you for the entire day while you're walking 10 miles through casinos I definitely recommend eating here. read more

I've always avoided eating at the Luxor because their restaurant lineup never appealed to me. But, decided to give their cafe a shot with a friend after checking out their menu. They offer plenty of standard breakfast and lunch fare, but the standout dishes reside in their diverse selection of French toast. They don't just add different toppings to the same bread. They utilize different types to create the best profile. Despite the lack of carrots in the carrot cake French toast, the bread was soaked through with custard and topped with garnishes that added a nice variety of tastes and textures to make it a standout dish. Likewise, the strawberry shortcake French toast was an enticing array of flavors highlighted by the strawberry compote. Lighter, overall, than the carrot cake, it was equally as good. Less successful were red velvet pancakes that had a tough, almost rubbery texture and icing that was thick and grainy. However, the hints of caramel were a nice touch. Their monte cristo was a solid rendition with an exterior providing plenty of crunch. It could have benefited from more ham, but the flavors were still decent. With a menu full of items that are more likely to satisfy than impress, it's the specialty items like the French toast that should be ordered for a memorable meal. 4 Stars read more

Sitting alone with a pyramid of creamers (27 of em, I counted), without a crowd, without a buffet line-up, I experienced fair prices in peace, with lovely and attentive service. Toast is served in a basket, a glass of water large enough and fit for a King; and good, strong coffee (priced too high, a flippin $3.50 - I could so lose that kind of dinero in a slot machine!). The menu has a nice amount of selections, and a great alternative to the buffet. read more

Let me tell you when I was suggested the Monte Cristo sandwich and the chicken & waffles plate at the same time . At that very moment I had two stomachs but luckily they also have take out option for breakfast the next morning. Allowing for awesome brunch before I hop back on the plane . So overall I loved the price and atmosphere/ Theme . Ancient Egyptian Mixed with contemporary dining . To those who read this I hope you have the same experience :) read more

Wasn't expecting much from this place, but everywhere near by had a wait. I got the eggs Benedict and it came out cold, the has browns were soggy and unseasoned. My mom got an omelet that had what seemed to be packaged veggies and maybe two fingers worth of ham. I understand they're incredibly busy but it was really disappointing especially for how expensive it is. I mean come on $18.99 for pancakes? read more

Pretty disappointed. I've eaten here dozens of times on my trips to vegas and often tel people to try this little diner out. Not anymore! I asked the server this time if I could substitute my hash browns for anything since I'm doing low carb, and he just said "No"..... now if there's an up-charge, I get it, but everything I asked was just "No".... kind of sad considering I'm paying a high price for Diner quality food. **shrugs** oh well. We were looking for a place to eat. (we were starving...big time and trying to pass time before the Criss Angel show (i will write a review about the show later...i have a lot to say.) So we ended up at the Pyramid Cafe. Located in the Luxor. It was during happy hour so we did the happy hour menu. We ended up getting chicken wings (nothing spectacular), steak and vegetable (nothing spectacular) , and some dip. I can't remember exactly what it was. I guess it proves to show that this place was... "A-OK." It did fill me up and I was ready for the show. Service was so-so. The waitress was nice but it took a while for the food to come. It's ok. One of the better in hotel restaurants honestly! I had the chicken sandwich and the portions were generous and well cooked and seasoned. The prices also don't break the bank! Beginning with the initial greeting by Mrs. Peggy (whom treated us with family-like good-will and kindness), we knew we'd found a place that was right for us. We also think it would be the right place for you too. Between servers Vasili and Fidel, we felt like we were home away from home. They were both personable, made terrific food recommendations and were also quite courteous to boot! Add beverage services team member Tony and you've got a hodgepodge of excellence (not to mention, good natured fun). We didn't stay at the Luxor Hotel, but found ourselves dining there several times during our week long stay In Las Vegas! I really wasn't in the mood for a buffet so I walked right past the one in the Excalibur on my way to see what Luxor had in the way of a coffee shop. I wanted food cooked to order for me. My food came out really fast. I would be real surprised if any of it did not come from a warming tray. The eggs were watery, the corned beef hash was dried out, I could only deal with part of the potatoes, the toast served wrapped in a basket was too cold even when it first got there to melt the butter. The orange juice was really good and the decaf was ok. The service was good and friendly. The chairs were comfortable to lounge back in but not very comfortable to sit up to the table in. Overall I was not really impressed paying $5 more plus tip for the same quality of food I could have gotten from the buffet. read more

This place is located in the Luxor near the casino area and close to the Oasis pool. Service: Not the greatest service here. They don't really smile at you or really acknowledge your there. All a sudden they just go "come with me". Food: Not the greatest food either. It's not disgusting, but it's not anything special either. Cinnamon Roll with Apples - It was okay, tasted like the ones you can get from the store. Waffle with fruit - Not that great. It tasted bland and like this made it with water down batter. Meatball sliders - Better than other things I have tried. In my opinion there was too much meat and too little bread. The sauce was good though. Chicken wings (mild) - Pretty good. It is serviced with ranch dressing which is probably why it tasted good. You can chose from mild, medium, or hot. But overall, I think this was the best thing from the list we ordered. I wouldn't recommend this place, unless... 1. You are too lazy to to leave Luxor 2. Want something to eat and it's 2am-6am. read more

Pyramid Café is open 24-hours, so that's aways a plus...when it comes to a HUGE strawberry daiquiri (you get to keep the cup), golden lightly salted fries and piping hot pepperoni pizza cravings at midnight. Which this was an option in DC to put an end to Denny's and IHOP. Blah! read more

We got $35 worth of comp so we took ourselves to Pyramid Cafe for lunch on our last day at the Luxor. The wait was a bit long, the hosts didn't seem to have it together. We were seated in the back and had a great waitress. We split the nachos to start. The order was way too large to finish. They do put cold chopped tomatoes on top though with makes the nachos cold as a whole. My boyfriend got the burger, so large he didn't even touch his fries. I got the Monte Cristo sandwich. OMG. Soo good with that sprinkle of powdered sugar and strawberry preserves to dip in. Got it with potato salad instead of fries. p.s. I should have gotten the fries instead. read more

We ordered 5 sandwiches and it took so long. Like about 30 mins.We are vegetarians so we ordered the sandwiches without chicken and bacon and when we finally got the food, there was both chicken and bacon. Horrible service and no customers. Never coming here again and don't go here. Best warning I can give. read more

Took a while to get seated but once we were, the service was decent. There were some moments I wished they were a bit more attentive (ex. My sister ordered more tea but was waiting on hot water longer than necessary). The food was pretty typical diner food. I got a California omelette with wheat toast and home fries. It was tastier than I expected. The home fries were the shoe string kind and were nice and crispy. The omelette was cooked well and cheese was nice and melty. Toast was good with the orange marmalade. If you're staying in the luxor, it's a good option for breakfast if you have an hour to kill. read more

Solid breakfast cafe inside of Luxor. Nothing fancy, but not run down. I would say expect $20-30 a head, and use food and beverage credit if you got it! 7am-2pm everyday, so strictly breakfast/lunch cafe. Almost the entire staff are nice old 50+ year old people. Unlike back in July 2020, this time in January 2021 they are actually enforcing covid 19 social distancing and employees wearing masks, however the entire vegas is clearly taking less precautions now during a worsening pandemic then they were several months ago when there was very little virus spreading going on in comparisom to today, so I will say that was a huge shock. Greedy people maybe? Oh well, it is what it is right? Regardless, this place is a solid spot I promise. read more

"grilled cheese search" So the gay boyfriend and I stumbled in here late Sunday night in search of grilled cheese. It's not on the menu but if you ask nicely, they will make it for you for $7.99. I ordered the chicken noodle soup and the San Francisco club. The soup was so-so. There was a lot of chicken and maybe this was slightly healthier than a canned soup? The sandwich was way too bready and by the end of the meal, I was eating just the filling (turkey was very salty but the bacon was thick!). With two drinks, our bill topped out around $40 after tax and tip. Probably not worth a sober meal but I think it saved us from a morning of a horrible hangover. read more

I don't know what it is, is it the fact they serve some ridiculously good hashbrowns? Could it be the service totally sucks but I don't care because its 24 hours and the prices are decent? It could be, but for some reason I've remained a fan of the Pyramid Cafe through good times and bad. Given the nature of many of Las Vegas' residents and visitors, more places should have more late night hours. With a 24/7 joint like the Pyramid Cafe, the diner food becomes a reality but in a pyramid-themed corner of the Luxor. Beware: Their sandwiches are overpriced and so are the waitresses ... meaning they're being paid too much by the Luxor to deliver crap service. read more

Fairly unimpressive spot. They offer the typical breakfast items you'd expect, but nothing that was fantastic or memorable. Nothing on the menu actually looked very good so I just ordered a salad - that was fine. I sampled a few dishes from friends' plates and nothing was very good: -tough scrambled eggs -dry bread -overcooked omelets I would not go back unless forced to. read more

Great to have a 24 hour cafe to go to in Vegas... Staff was very friendly and attentive. I wanted something basic, just a ham and cheese sandwich but couldn't find it on the menu. The waitress tells me they do offer it and would place my order right away. So nice of her!!! Anyone else could have just ignored my and wait until I ordered from what was being ordered at that time in the menu. Not only did I get my sandwich but it was really good and portion made for two, and not expensive. Two "nights" later, we were there again. Another friendly waiter, this time my friend and I shared a burger - he even split it for us, and we each got our share of fries. Yes good food is obviously important, and they do have it, but good service is also a must to make us "fans". read more

When you go into a 24 hour cafe in Vegas you will definitely expect the worst. I know I sure was when I came in here. The pyramid cafe will surprise you, I actually got what i thought was a pretty good french dip sandwich and I was not under the influence one bit! The chicken pot pie was pretty terrible here, but my buddy should have known better then to order that I guess. Stick to the bar food type stuff here and you will do fine. read more

Definitely a cute Cafe. It's in the middle of the Luxor, so once you find it, not a bad deal. The prices are reasonable, but the food was sort of hit or miss. We had the French onion soup, which was very tasty and not too salty. Nice broth, soft, flavorful onions, and just the right amount of gooey Swiss cheese. The pizza was average. We got pepperoni and it was quite greasy. I can deal with it as I love any pizza, but I have to admit, probably not the best I've had by a long shot. The service was wonderful, as they were attentive, kind and ready to explain the menu. If you want a quick bite while staying at the Luxor, this may be a serviceable option. read more

This place is almost like Dennys, but it is seats way more people. I had the All-American Breakfast with ham and portion sizes are incredible. The ham is HUGE, too large to my liking as it was too dry. The fried potatoes were a little burnt. I had my eggs scrambled, okay but nothing special. I would have given Pyramid Cafe 2 stars for the food, but the service was quite exceptional so I gave them 3 stars. read more

The restaurant was pretty busy, and I know we definitely weren't his only table because I watched him running around taking care of everyone. That kind of service makes such a difference. Ian was genuinely wonderful, and he deserves recognition for making our first visit such a memorable one. When I first arrived, I glanced at the menu and was greeted by a hostess. I originally was looking for the buffet, so I asked if there was one around. The hostess told me the buffet was closed down and not open anymore, but I could go just across the way to the next hotel and go to their buffet, seemed like decent advice, until I found out the buffet was no closed. So that was irritating. Sam came and took my drink order, I wanted coffee but they didn't have any flavored creamer just half-half so I just got an orange juice instead, just 1 cup because nobody came and offered a refill. So that was irritating. My server Jeremy was nice but seemed in a rush. Love his accent though, being from up north myself I can appreciate the long vowel sounds in his accent. Anyways he took my order and didn't write it down so I figured it was gonna come out wrong but surprisingly it was correct. Food was decent but I don't think it was worth the price. read more

Angel and Jermi were the ones taking care of us today, this was our third time at the Pyramid Cafe, but the first time that was more than worthy of leaving a review! Overall, every time we've been here it was a great experience, but Angel and Jermi were sooo fun, they made the dining experience absolutely perfect! They were on top of the service, prompt and beyond friendly. They made each guest feel catered to and we absolutely loved the atmosphere this morning! They did an amazing job and everything we ordered came quickly and came out just how we ordered! Quite possibly the best place for breakfast, the food is absolutely delicious and prepared just the way you like it every morning! I have celiac disease and they made sure I was able to eat breakfast there every morning without any issues! The staff are absolutely amazing, the chef came out to personally make sure he gave me his promise that my food wouldn't get cross contaminated. Our server angel was truly the sweetest human there is! Everything we needed he went to get and made sure we were happy! He truly made the beginning of the day amazing. I went there for breakfast and it was astonishing! Service was great and attentive!! I ordered the All American Breakfast and it was large and awesome! It contained two eggs, hash browns, choice of bacon or susage, and choice of toast. I got wheat toast and it was thick and filling. They also gave me plenty of bacon strips, maybe 6 or 7. Their coffee tasted better than Starbucks. The berry waffle was a big serving too and it was sooo good. Lots of strawberries, rasberries, and blueberries served with hot syrup. Fresh pizzas made daily and pastries like breakfast sandwiches, croissants, and my favorite the jersey beef with au jus really made my night without spending $200 on dinner somewhere else. For 20 bucks I got a super fresh crunchy delicious beef sandwich with peppers, cheese, onion, a side of chips and a drink for the night before I stopped at another convenience spot and got a turkey club and a Gatorade for $35. Service is friendly and knowledgeable, staff is on the ball, dealing with a lot of customers coming in making demands, but what a great place. If you're looking to keep it simple and grab a bite to eat and have something quality, handmade, fresh, highly recommend the boss. I'll be eating here several nights and mornings while visiting Vegas and staying at the LINQ.

My hopes were not very high, but because it was so late at night I didn't really have any other real options for food. When the slice came out, I was amazed at how good it looked and it was so hot. I had to wait several minutes to be able to eat it. Once I took my first bite I was an absolute shock at how delicious it was. I love a ton of pepperoni and this slice was unmatched in the amount of pepperoni. The machine gives great service. It only takes eight minutes to create the slice and it comes out so piping hot. You dare not take a bite. The ambience is very busy as there are tons of people walking through the lobby in the hotel and there are plenty of other restaurants and shops in the vicinity. It's a very busy area and this is a great machine to use if you need a quick fix, especially if it's late at night. I would definitely eat this again.
