Egg rolls here are so yummy and crispy! My favorite one is the rice paper egg rolls with pork and shrimp. You have to buy it frozen and fry it at home. Been going to this place for a while now. There was one time that they were closed for a long period of time and I was kind of sad. Their egg rolls are sooooo good and I feel like they have them ready for you even before you hang up the phone. But, when you get there, they are always hot, freshly cooked and crunchy--and they stay crunchy! The gentleman that answers the phone is always so happy and super personable when you pick up your order. He greets you with a smile and says, "Happy Saturday" or whatever day it is you come--catches me off guard in a good way! Do NOT order banh beo here. Just by looking at it you can tell it's thick and mushy. I was very disappointed. I also ordered mi xao, and the noodles were not fully cooked. The best pork egg rolls , is all I can say, wow oh wow. I can't stop eating them . They also taste good with their sweet sauce that they sell as well. I've been coming here for over 15 years and it hits every time. They've updated to modern interior and accept Apple Pay, which is huge for Little Saigon! I ordered 20-piece eggrolls online on last Friday and picked up on Sunday. They were ready by the promised time and no problem picking up. After I picked them up, I had two eggrolls while driving on the way home. After arrival, I put them in a ZipLoc bag to freeze but I expected to see 18 eggrolls but I only saw 15 eggrolls. I am not a bitter person and I am not to make any big deal about this - and then again, its only $2.25 lost on my side. I do not think this vendor cheated me for mere $2.25. I want to assume this is a simple mistake but it is about the trust issue. I only wished items were carefully counted before they left the store. Today was the 2nd time I visited Quynh Huong and both times have been great! What first drew me to this place was their spaghetti, I was intrigued. Spaghetti at a Vietnamese shop in Westminster? This isn't the spaghetti that you'll get at Donna's in LA or like..North Italia. At first bite it was nostalgia for me. My husband who is Chinese Viet and me being Korean, we both got taken back to our childhood. This spaghetti tasted like what I grew up eating as an Asian kid at home - I can't really describe it to be honest. But the bite of the pasta, meat sauce with black pepper and slightest hint of sweetness - yum. Today I went in and picked up a plate of spaghetti that was ready on the counter with other premade foods. I really like places that have quick grab and go options which there's plenty of in Westminster, but not in areas that I grew up in. In addition to the pasta, I also ordered a chao ga (chicken porridge) with thousand year old egg added for my husband. The porridge took just a few minutes so I waited inside the shop which was comfortable with several seats and dining tables available. The place itself is very clean and organized, not run down or cluttered like some places can be (no shade to those businesses at all!) Like the spaghetti, the porridge was full of chicken! When my husband gave me a bowl of porridge at home I was worried he gave me all the protein, but he showed me his bowl was also full of chicken. The quality of the food is surprising considering the prices - each dish was only $8 (added egg was extra). How can you beat those prices nowadays? If anything, food nowadays is in the double digits unless you're getting like a banh mi. Alan who helped me both times has always been super nice and helpful. Very personable and friendly! Being Korean, sometimes it can be a little intimidating for me to go to businesses in the area because of the language barrier - although I get by, but I do feel more relieved when I'm able to communicate with employees/owner of businesses. We also tried their egg rolls which Alan told me they're known for. My husband who grew up in this area that has his share of egg rolls even said that it was a pretty good egg roll. High praise from a man who doesn't try to eat fried things. My mother in law who always talks about not eating fried foods for health took the last egg roll after having one, so I'm assuming she liked it. Overall, I really like Quynh Huong and enjoy coming here for quick bites- service, quality, taste, and prices are great. Stopped by on a whim one day while exploring the plaza and came across this gem & hole in the wall spot. Was greeted warmly by the gentleman working upfront..presumably the owner. Was super nice and even gave his customers some samples of his cha gio eggrolls. Speaking of which, wow. Best eggrolls I've ever had, and I've had my fair share of eggrolls in my day. These are ridiculously crispy and the filling is so good. The eggrolls were a fairly fat size, and surprisingly so cheap too. They had a whole bunch of other food to go options but I tried the vietnamese spaghetti bolognese and their nui xao bo. Both were fantastic but that spaghetti was something else. Super meaty and didn't skimp on that sauce. I definitely will come back again for more cha gio eggrolls. They're famous for these from what I found out so now I know where to order my party trays moving forward. Give this spot a try. They've been open for nearly 30 years now and I can see why. I learned about Quynh Huong from another Yelper and decided that I wanted to get me some Vietnamese food this weekend. I only had one specific dish in mind and it was their pasta. Yup, not noodles... PASTA. And damn it was delicious. It reminded me of my childhood; the dish was nostalgic and made me wish my grandma were here. Bear in mind that this is definitely different than the traditional Italian spaghetti bolognese so please don't expect that. Nonetheless it was YUMMY! Like, I wanted to eat the entire box of it but stopped myself. Heck, I didn't write and publish this review coz I almost wanna keep this place as my little secret. I guess at this point y'all know that my rating would be a 5 for the taste. As for the value, it's another 5 for me coz I ain't complaining about the price ($6.50 all in). Also it was the pasta was topped with a lot of meat; they were not stingy. Service was expected -- we were in and out, the store keeper was alright. Supposed to pick up 3:30 and fried wings was not even started. They prepared half order of the spring rolls. Did not even do the chao Tom. Such unorganized. We showed them the paid receipts and pick up order. Wings was ok tasting and chao tom was not good and tiny. Egg rolls was alright, not the greatest. QH has online ordering which I thought was great and would save me time but that was not the case which is why I could not give it 5 stars. The egg rolls were excellent and I do appreciate that they made it fresh but waiting 15-20 min after my paid for online order time was not helpful especially when you have guests at a party waiting.
