Decent boba spot with a small claw machine arcade inside. The spot has a chill, laid-back atmosphere with some small tables, so this place is good for small groups, but not so much for big groups. There are 2 self-order kiosks at the entrance, so ordering is quick and convenient. They have quite an extensive menu, including fruit teas, milk teas, cheese foam teas, matcha, yakult, blended drinks, coffee, sparkling drinks, fried snacks, and more. In addition, there are plenty of toppings to choose from. I usually get Hawaiian fruit green tea, roasted oolong milk tea, and crispy cheese balls. The sweetness and ice levels are customizable, which are always nice to have. Considering this is a boba shop chain, the quality of drinks here is solid. From my experience, service here is really fast, regardless of what time I am visiting. When my partner and I each order a drink, it feels as if our drinks are ready within the next minute. Since this shop is located in a very busy plaza, parking can be difficult to find during peak hours.

Stopped by R&B Tea in Rosemead and tried one of their seasonal drinks: matcha with coconut water. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the combination was surprisingly refreshing. The earthy matcha paired really well with the light sweetness of the coconut water, making it a great drink for a warm day. For toppings, I added the mango jelly stars and basil seeds. The mango jelly was fun because they are actually shaped like little stars, which made the drink extra cute. The jelly added a nice fruity flavor, while the basil seeds gave it a unique texture. If you're looking for something different from the usual milk tea, I definitely recommend giving this seasonal drink a try. Refreshing, not overly sweet, and perfect for matcha lovers.

Background On Visit: Wanted dessert after having a early dinner at Mr. Dragon Noodle house. Credit Cards: They're accepted. Order on self ordering kiosk or in person. Restroom: Available to use. Visitation Rights: Been to this location, but I've been to the Monterey Park location couple of times before. Location/Parking: Located in the small strip mall on the SW corner of Walnut Grove and Valley. Parking can be found in the shared lot. Ambiance/Decor: Neat ambiance with modern furnishings. Entertainment: They have some backdrops and props to take pictures with. Board games to play with your friends, and claw games to win prizes with, and street fighter arcade game. Service: Not much service besides receiving your drink after you order from the kiosk. Drink didn't take that long to come out. Drink Of Choice: I had their Hawaiian fruit with green tea drink. It was quite refreshing and included couple of watermelon pieces, orange, lime and lemon slice. I asked for 25% sweet. R&B Tea For Thought: Wouldn't mind coming back try other drinks on the menu.

Was in the area and in major need of caffeine for my drive back so I ordered the Rose Oolong Milk Tea. It was Saturday around 5:30pm and wanted to order food, but the kitchen was closed. The service was fine and quick. The tea was pretty strong and it did its job. I got the drink unsweetened and the boba wasn't too sweet either. I liked the decor and the shop, especially the cute neon lights. There were toy machines so it felt like a cute little hang out.

Through plenty of visits, R&B Tea remains consistent with their drinks and food. This specific occasion, my wife was ordered me two drinks and their cheese balls as a late night snack. Drinks are just as good as always. Usually drinks/food are less delicious as this is a late night order, nearing the end of the batch/day but the drinks were spectacular. The cheese balls were something new that I've never tried so this was a nice experience as well. Perfect late night snack but certainly not the top choice of snack. Still highly recommend if you like food that's fun size.

My cousins and I went to R&B Tea after a bit of dinner next door on a Monday night. Most of the tables were filled when we went in. There are two screens for ordering, which made the ordering process pretty quick. I would say the drinks are pretty standard for a boba tea shop. The strawberry stormy was icy and refreshing. The Thai tea was a solid Thai milk tea. I ordered the matcha hazelnut because I think that's such a rare combo and was pleasantly surprised it worked together. They have a bunch of mini claw machines that provide a ton of entertainment. It's a dollar a token and we actually won twice (after spending $15 on tokens lol). I like the neon aesthetic of the decorations and the abundance of tables. The staff was really kind too.

I came specifically for the Milk and Mocha Bear cups, and they did not disappoint, I'm obsessed! I ordered the Matcha Coco, which is made with fresh Vita coconut water and topped with matcha cold foam. So refreshing and tasty. Ordering through the kiosk was super easy, and my drink was ready in no time. If you sign up for their rewards program, you get 15% off your first order, which is a nice bonus. Service: There are self kiosks or you can order at the cashier. R&B tea has many unique flavors and toppings like red bean boba or cheese candy milk tea to Brazilian lemonade. The service it pretty great! The staff is friendly and calls out your number when your order is Ready. The Ambiance is relaxed they play a variety of music and have a free arcade game machine in the corner of the room near the entrance. It's free to play their arcade games. As for the food I have only tried their popcorn chicken and it really good and you can adjust the spice level. Recently they haven't had the popcorn chicken for aome reason. It was my first time trying R&B Tea and I had the mango matcha latte. This drink tastes more like a dessert than a latte since the matcha was very thick and creamy. It reminded me of mango ice cream, so the mango definitely overpowered the matcha. They have a self order kiosk right in the front when you walk in. I always stop by at R&B after dining at the noodle house next door. There is plenty of parking spots in the plaza, but availability depends on business. I love the extensive menu, and I want to try everything. You order at the touch screens which stand right in front of the door upon entering. I'm not sure if you can order at the counter. The store is located in a busy plaza so it's hard to find parking sometimes. There are a few tables and chairs in the store so it's a nice place to hang out with friends. Ordering is super simple through their tablet and drinks come out in a couple minutes. We got the Oreo Storm w/ 75% sweetness and Mango Green Tea w/ 75% sweetness (took out the aloe topping). My new favorite Boba Tea place! Came here on a Saturday afternoon with a friend for a quick snack and loved that we found this place. When you walk in, you're greeted by the staff. You can either put your order in via the ordering machines in front or with the stuff that's at the front counter. I ordered the chocolate Boba tea. It was delicious and had a great flavor to it. I enjoyed the decor of the place. There were multiple places you could sit with each a group or a couple. The decor is definitely modern and gave a great hang out vibe. I will def be back! read more

Established in 2006.

Bruce, the founder of R&B Tea, came to Suzhou, China in 2005. At that time, he was working in the IT industry. The heavy work load and high pressure constantly made Bruce think of and crave for delicious food and different beverages, especially the tea from his homeland, Taiwan. Despite going places and trying different types that were available, his cravings weren't satisfied because it was hard to find good quality milk tea in Suzhou then. Seeing this gap in the market led Bruce to identify an opportunity where he made a life-changing decision. Bruce decided to start a business by himself, offering various tea beverages concocted with ingredients of the highest quality. Through his perseverance and determination, the first tea outlet was opened in Suzhou in 2006. That's how and when the R&B Tea story began!

Unsure if they made a batch of the same sweetness cause most of us did get half sweet, but the flavor was still really good. They have other drinks as well, which I'd love to try if I return here. I'd also love to try their signature Thai tea as well. There's seating here and the people that work here are nice as well. Our drinks came out quickly too. I got 50% sweetness and it tastes more like 75%. I think it's because the fermented rice is already sweetened. Service was good, I ordered ahead and picked up with no issues. The inside has some seating if you want to enjoy your drink inside. Outside, there are also some tables and benches if you prefer. Overall, the drink prices are pretty standard in today's market I'd say. The other drinks I've tried before include the osmanthus rice drink, black sesame slushy, mango pomelo, and the taro milk. Of the ones I have tried, maybe only the mango pomelo one is good. The rest are just okay. Unsure if I'd come back because there are other mango pomelo drinks out there that are better.

Overall, I had a disappointing experience at YOTEA (Rosemead). There's utility and potential, but this business feels old and unmaintained. Rather than clean, Staff just chattered amongst themselves. By far one of the best tea spot in the SGV. definite must try !!! And this is coming from a person that drink at all the tea stations in the area. Make sure to try out their FREE retro arcade system while waiting for your to be made. read more

Yin is very sweet. Awesome service and yummy smoothie. The place is very cute and kid friendly with board games to play and cranes to win cool prizes. Very clean bathroom also lol I would recommend this place to all my friends read more
