We grabbed a bite from Rabanos last night before heading to an art show at 3rd st Tattoo. I ordered the pork belly knock out and he ordered the Koreano. Both bowls were gluten free and sooooooo delicious. We kept stealing bites from each others plates and talking about how amazing everything went together. Met my friends here for lunch. I do have to say the food was quite yummy The only drawbacks of this place is the lack of parking, price points seem a bit high with the portions you get, and it's definitely not a place to meet up with friends if you want to take your time to eat and gab. I had the pork belly knockout bowl...LOVED the flavors and the pork belly just melts in your mouth. My friends had the cubano bowl and they both enjoyed it. I also ordered the green matcha boba drink. Unfortunately they didn't have boba at the time so no discount, but the drink was still yummy. Now on to the parking issue...there are about 5-6 spaces in front. I met my friends right when it opened so I didn't have a problem parking. The parking behind the restaurant is ALL for that Lazy acre market. The rest of the parking is for Hope Chapel. My friends ended up parking in the mini mall type place across the street and walking over. Not sure if that is encouraged, but I guess you won't get towed/ticketed??? As for not having that much time to sit and gab....I guess because the restaurant is on the smallish side, they don't want you to take up the tables for too long. Literally as soon as we were done, a lady came up to us, asked if there was anything else we need, gave us "the look", and took our trash. There wasn't a line of people at the time we were there so we took slight offense to this treatment. We get it if there's a line.....anyway, it kind of rubbed us the wrong way. All in all the food was delicious. Maybe they need to get more seating and definitely more parking spaces. Or if you can't get more seating, perhaps make it known that we shouldn't expect to sit and talk when meeting up with people. It's been like 7 months since my last time at this restaurant, and definitely, I'm not going back. I always order the California burrito with shrimp instead of chicken and charge an extra 3 $. (there always a mistake with the order but I never complain, because the food it's good) at this time, I order the same and they just decided that today they can't make it! I mean, 4 or 5 Times yes and another time no? I went with my family this time because they are from Venezuela and I spoke to them many times about this place, we were waiting for our food inside, and the way that they ask us to wait outside for our food was rud. A promising new quick serve restaurant with fresh, quality ingredients. We ordered a simple roasted veggie bowl, a curry chicken bowl and order of fries- the fries did not come out ahead, and the server came out to let us know that they were backed up with lots of to go orders in the queue (good idea, pick up!) Waited awhile before our food arrived, but after I spoke to management they resolved the delay. Appreciate the responsive customer service! Just wanted to update that we tried their vegan burger last week, and it's become our new favorite vegan burger for Southbay. They make their own patties--none of that fake soy-meat patty. I believe it's made with beets, sweet potatoes, and some other ingredients. The burger is full of flavors, no extra sauce needed. Delicious! .. and it also comes with fries. read more

While I LOVE their food, their customer services has been terrible. My husband and I order from here at least once a week, and always the same thing. However the last two times they have gotten our order wrong. When I have called the restaurant they have made zero effort to correct the matter at all or apologize for the mistake.... you can have good food, but if you have terrible customer service it ruins the experience. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I love that they have so many vegan options, it's healthy, nutritious, flavorful, and they source a lot of their produce from locaL farmers. Plus, they use recyclable/biodegradable utensils and packaging. My favorite bowl is the La Bamba and their veggie burger is the best I've had anywhere. Rabano offers a nice variety of options to choose from including many steak and chicken bowls, which the el Koreano is a definite recommendation. It is slightly pricey considering what they serve which is mainly meat and fish bowls however it is worth it seeing its freshly made and prepared in the kitchen with most of their ingredients coming from local ports in California it's sure to be good. I've been here multiple times and left very happy each time as they are consistent with their meals and I will always know what to expect when going to Rabano. The restaurant has a nice small feel to it located on PCH. However most times when I come here the food is very well prepared and tastes fresh which it should for $20, and in this case my steak was unfortunately undercooked however coming here multiple times I've realized this was a one time incident and Rabano continues to not disappoint ! read more

Rabano is one of my all time favorite spots to eat. Although it doesn't seem like much from the outside, their food is incredible. The inside of the restaurant is small, but the environment is amazing! Whether you are vegan or not, you will find a wide variety of delicious options. Anything you order feels healthy because everything is made with fresh ingredients, and the presentation of the food makes your mouth water. My favorite dish is the teriyaki bowl. Depending on how hungry I am, I order the kids or adult version. The chicken is not dry, the veggies go surprisingly well with the teriyaki sauce, and the rice is to die for. I also love getting boba here! My favorite is the thai milk tea, but I also love the jasmine tea. I highly recommend this cute little place whenever you are in the south bay :) read more

Food is AMAZING! I haven't gotten a dish I haven't loved. Gave it 4/5 stars because I ordered a curbside pickup online (because I had my dog in the car and didn't want to leave him in there to run inside to grab my food), but no one brought our food out. I ended up getting a parking spot right up front, thinking they would see my car and bring my food out, but on one did. However, they got 4/5 stars because their ordering system using the tablet is awful. They need to put more money into their ordering system and make sure it's easy to use or have more people taking orders and separate to-go/catering orders versus eating at the restaurant. They only had one person at the register who was dealing with a catering order and no one else supporting with orders. The food is good, the service is HORRIBLE. I literally waited thirty minutes for a sandwich. My boyfriend already got his food twenty minutes before me. His food was far more complicated, so not entirely certain why a cold sandwich would take so long to make. In addition, my order was incorrect. I'm allergic to mayo and requested they omit the ingredient from the bread of my sandwich. My boyfriend had already finished his dinner at that point. I immediately asked for a Togo box after finally getting my food. I never even took a bite. A friend recommended that I try Rabano's which I did today for lunch (open at 11:00AM). It's located next to the key shop near two other small food outlets. It's clean and tidy and clearly well cared for. They offer vegan, vegetarian and other Selections. Very fresh food! I ordered the Ahi Poke with rice and ice tea. It was absolutely delicious! Yes, I highly recommend Rabano's food. They offer eat in and takeout. The ambience is a bit stark more like takeout places common in the area. Just want to respond to the most recent comment from Luz. I was in the restaurant when your food came out and the only thing rude about the way it was handled was the way you treated the poor server. You claim race was involved, but the server called out your name probably six times before you finally took your headphones off to hear her. She can't walk your food to you if she doesn't know it is your order. Once you started screaming at her, she happily walked your food to you.
