What's going on? This place is going down hill. When it first opened we always ordered the lechón asado bowl. It was so good. We'd also get the kids meals. Lately, our orders are all messed up. The lechón asado was our favorite. Today we ordered 3 of them for the adults. None of them had any seasoning and the rice was not properly cooked. read more

I want so badly to give this place a 5 star but a few kinks hold me back. This is my 4th visit (2 dine in, 2 take out), and for dine in I usually have no issues or if there is a problem, it's easily corrected. But take out, there is always something wrong. On this last visit, I paid for extra boba ... didn't get it: I verbally asked to put the aioli on the side for the bahn mi because there is no button to request it.. didn't get it: dressing for my salad... didn't get it. Really nice place to eat. I went here and was greeted by a simple, clean, and really pleasant atmosphere. On the right are tablets where you could order what you want or you could simply go up to the cashier and order if you're not familiar with technology. As for the food goes, I would definitely recommend their edamame wontons as an appetizer, really addicting! Their Papas Fritas are also really great to. As for main dish, their pork banh mi is really great. If you want a some good food but don't want to worry about your cholesterol level, I highly suggest to check this place out. read more

This place is amazing! Such a gem. It's unassuming from the street view but quite nice inside. It was super busy when I stopped in to pick up dinner but the service was pretty fast considering how busy it was! The staff running around and those cooks were working so hard. Aside from their amazing food, I wanted to leave a review about their service; moreso their employees--a gentlemen in particular named Seth. He has taken my order multiple times and has been very polite and friendly. Very patient with me when I was indecisive with my meal/drink choices and has always had a smile on his face. Today I noticed some unprofessionalism an employee (one female in particular). Unfortunately there were no owners I could speak to regarding this. There is one thing that I cannot and will not tolerate and that is speaking at your employee instead of to them. If there is an issue, you NEVER discuss it in front of a customer. Overall, it seemed like this employee was just taking advantage of her role. I didn't like the way she was treating her employees. I've met the owner and I'm pretty sure hes taught them better. Anyway. Thank you Seth for keeping that smile on your face. I will continue coming to this restaurant as it is a favorite of mine, but please remind some of your employees to be kind to their employees. I ordered online on 4/27 around 5:30 pm and when I arrived, they told me I wasn't allowed to order a few of the ingredients for the burger "on the side" and that I either had to have everything on the burger or nothing. Ransom is awesome. Order on an iPad and customize your food and drink. The Cuban pork is flavorful and the boba is good too. Only you can't adjust the sweetness on the boba. Great selection of hot tea with special brews. read more

I am giving them a 3 because the food is amazing, the service is fast if you call ahead. I order the same thing over and over because I really love it. I order the salmon bowl. I have noticed that over time, the salmon looks smaller, and smaller, and smaller. today I ordered my usual 2 salmon bowls. When I got the bowls I took a look and again, the salmon piece looked even smaller. I asked the supervisor what the oz portion size is, she told me 5 or 6 oz. I said to her well is it 5 or 6, because for $30, I would prefer the 6. So, out of curiosity when I got home, I put the salmon on my food scale..the first piece was 4 oz, the second was 4.3 slightly under 4.5 oz. If it is supposed to be 5 or 6, then it should be either 5 or 6..what it shouldn't be is 4. super disappointed. and concerned about the consistency with them.. read more

My boyfriend and I eat at Rabono's multiple times a week. To say we love it is an understatement and it's been our go to place for amazing food at a reasonable price. Their food is fresh, seasoned perfectly and whenever I have asked for a slight change on an item they are more then willing to accommodate. Their service at first had a few glitches which is normal for a new establishment but today they went above and beyond to right the situation which prompted me to write a review that was long overdue. I came in on a busy lunch hour and had called in my food, the girl must have forgotten to put in my order and the manager and cashier made sure my food came out within 5 minutes and made me one of their delicious hand made beverages on the House. as a regular I really appreciate the upheld service that now equally matches their food, thank you guys and we will keep referring our friends and locals over to your spot! read more

my friend and i arrived around 1130 to try to beat the lunch rush. parking was a bit of a challenge already - the tiny rabano lot was full, the next closest spots are all labeled as lazy acres parking, and so i had to park in the far end of the lot near some construction. it is a small sized restaurant (expect to share a table) with a big sized menu. i ordered at the tablet, which is a nice option to have especially considering how busy it got as lunchtime neared. i ordered the kabobs mediterraneo super bowl over half ancient grains and half salad. the chicken was nice but not as flavorful as it appeared - the garlic sauce helped tho and i added sriracha for extra flavor and kick, however most of the hummus was hidden under one of the skewers and i almost didnt see it until i was halfway done with the bowl. the salad greens were extremely fresh (hopefully just picked from the living wall of greens and herbs!) and whatever light dressing that seemed to be on the veggies added a nice flavor to the grains and bowl overall. i also had a jasmine blossom boba which was just ok - good jasmine but not really green tea flavor and after a few sips it just tasted like milk. i was hoping to find a new go-to boba place closer than torrance but this might not be it. overall a good meal and felt like the portion size was satisfying but for almost $20 for a bowl and drink i wasnt blown away by the flavors. i might try it again in the future since i drive by almost daily, and considering how much variety of flavors is represented on the menu im hopeful to find something that i really like next time. read more
