    creme brûlée milk tea
    Noe C.

creme brûlée milk tea! nice new option at valley fair. ordered on the tablet and drink was out within 5 mins. regular size looked a little smaller but loved the drink. not super sweet. did not add on boba because the creme brûlée was plenty. would come back and try their other drinks!

daily tea boba parfait (milk tea)

I would say this place has some items I really enjoy, and some I really do not enjoy lol. I would recommend coffee or fruit tea here. For coffee, I absolutely loved the lavender latte. The flavor was strong and the coffee was smooth. Very nice, I would definitely venture into this part of the mall again just to get some coffee. The lychee cucumber green iced tea was nicely refreshing and strong. You could kind of get both flavors mentioned in the taste. The brown sugar milk tea with boba was decent. The boba was ok, not my favorite (white boba). The japanese buckwheat milk tea was not great, it mostly tasted of creamer. I found the soft serve to be so disappointing; it was so runny and the flavor was incredibly sweet (like tooooo sweet!). Unfortunate as I was excited to try this item. I wasn't a fan of the milk tea parfait. As the soft serve turned into soup, the many bits of granola made it feel like I was eating cereal. Idk, it could be improved.

Terrible gargage milk tea overly sweet even though I asked 25% sugar. The lychee jelly topping was way too sweet which was mindlessly dumped inside the drink with sugary water thus caused dilution and over sweetness. The whole drink also tasted artificial. Lousy careless job from barista. Worst milk tea junk I've ever gotten in my life. Will never buy anything from them again!

    Oreo Oreo boba parfait

I was really disappointed with my experience. I felt misled by the posts I saw from others. I finally decided to try it on a weekday when the mall was less crowded, and there was no line. I ordered the Oreo Oreo boba parfait, but I expected the cup to be larger. It took them about 10 minutes to make it, and honestly, I don't think it should take that long to put something like this together. The ice cream tasted like low-quality soft serve; it was icy and not smooth at all. The parfait only had one Oreo cookie--how can that be called an Oreo Oreo cup? The presentation looked sad as well. Overall, I think I'll pass on this place and look for alternatives. It costs more than a regular boba drink, which I find ridiculous.

    Japanese Buckwheat Milk Tea

I was walking around Valley Fair and my mom was craving milk tea. We stopped by Rabbit Rabbit Cream. I wanted a caffeine free option and the employee recommended Japanese buckwheat. I ordered a Japanese buckwheat milk tea with 25% sweetness and 50% ice with grass jelly. The flavor of the Japanese buckwheat was interesting and unique. It was almost nutty and tasted very roasted. I'd get it again for sure!!! Check it out if you're at the area or in the mall!

    Earl grey & vanilla swirl

We got the earl grey and vanilla swirl, but it was very underwhelming. The flavor wasn't very strong and I just prefer my soft serve more creamy. They ran out of vanilla, so we got mostly earl grey. You order from a tablet, so everything's pretty fast. I ended up going to salt & straw after cause I wanted a better sweet treat.

To be honest, there are better places for milk tea. I think the teas that I got Brown Sugar and the Pink Guava had lacked a lot of flavor. Also, this is located in Valleyfair, so there's also a lack of seating and calm ambiance if you wanted to hang out with a group of friends. There's other milk tea shops that are standard that are 10 ft from this place, so I would recommend going elsewhere. It's definitely a pretty shop though, so it's worth it to post about.

Assam Tea Ice Cream in a Cup and Kyoto Matcha Ice Cream in a Cup

Came by on a Wednesday afternoon with a friend. There was no line at that time, so we were able to order at the kiosk and receive our order within 5 minutes. The drinks were similar to Rabbit Rabbit Tea, located on the 2nd floor of the mall, but the difference here is that you can get ice cream. They have both standard ice cream in a cup/cone but also ice cream parfaits. We got the Assam Tea and Kyoto Matcha ice cream in cups. There was also Thai Tea and Vanilla and the option for swirls. The ice cream was not too sweet and the tea flavor was prominent. It wasn't too creamy either, but does contain dairy. They decorated ours with a little pretzel. It was quite a lot of ice cream in the cup (for reference, the cone is slightly cheaper). Right in front of the store are a couple of tables with seats and charging docks. Since this is located in the mall, there's plenty of parking, but you have to pay after two hours. Would come by here again!

    Match and Thai Tea Swirl
    Alex L.

I ordered the Matcha and Thai Tea swirl. It wasn't very creamy and lacked the rich smooth mouthfeel to it. Like when you eat ice cream. The soft serve also melted pretty fast. I did not like the Thai tea, it was a bit grainy to me and didn't really taste authentic to me. The matcha is good and strong, but it was a bit difficult to taste and appreciate the flavor as the Thai Tea pretty much overpowered the soft serve. I do not recommend getting the swirl, just get the matcha by itself. I would give it another shot, with a different flavor.

    Rose assam milk tea

12/11. Passed by in valley and decided to get a rose milk tea. My friend got a fruit tea. Did not get the ice cream this time but it seems pretty pricy. Overall my rose milk tea is decent. Light rose flavor and a strong tea. A little too sweet for a 100% sugar (I have a sweet tooth and tend to get 100% on the first try). Also, the milk tea isn't as pink as the one in the picture. There are also other unique flavors such as tiramisu that I would love to try next time.

rabbit rabbit has a kids menu with non-caffeinated boba drinks....mainly milk and one fruit blend...stopped by rabbit rabbit for a boba drink for the kid...boba paradise (milk with brown sugar boba) is $5.95 for the smaller size or $6.95 for the big kid size...basically sugary milk with some sugary soft boba...not a fan, but kid seems to enjoy the drink...

    Kyoto Matcha soft serve
    Marie L.

A little pricey from what I'm used to for soft serve. But it was delicious and super yummy. They give a lot for a cup so it's best to share. I do wanna note that the soft serve contains dairy so if you're lactose intolerant, you might want to reconsider. It was a bit hard to find. Kind of tucked away under the escalators next to Macys.

aesthetic drinks and soft serve with mainly asian inspired flavors! ordering is easy using the digital screens, and the orders are made pretty quick. we only tried the earl grey soft serve which had a lovely and strong tea flavor but the texture wasn't as creamy as we desired--more icy..? some of the drinks look really interesting though, and I might come back to try them

Really lovely little coffee shop that leans into that industrial warehouse vibe in the best way…read more The coffee was great--I ended up trying both on-tap cold brews on the day we went because I didn't realize that buying a bag of whole bean coffee came with a free coffee drink. With some coffees a second cup will give me a stomach ache (especially since I drink my cold brews black and bitter like my soul), but I had no problems with their cold brews! I also got the vegan stonefruit scone (baked by Sweet Dragon) and while a little on the dry side (common with scones), paired extremely well with the coffee and had good flavor. Husband got a cappuccino and a strawberry mini pie and was extremely pleased with his order. The service is friendly, but some things may have been new on the day we went. They almost forgot my cold brew until we asked at the counter, as well as stating that they didn't have anything to heat up my husband's strawberry pie (which seems odd, since a little toaster oven seems like a simple fix for that), but apparently it was fantastic at room temperature anyway. Seating was absolutely full when we got there and we were lucky to snag a table as another couple left, so it seems like a popular Saturday morning spot. Several folks were working on laptops, and it seems like a kid-friendly place. The decor is a clean and modern/trendy industrial style, which works well for the space, and the windows provide nice daylight. Overall, a good coffee shop and I am really happy to see vegan pastry options! My husband is getting into pinball, which was part of the motivation to come out and try Chromatic, so I am sure we'll be back again next time he wants to hit up Slingshot (in the same building), and I look forward to the coffee and treats!

The seating area is quite limited for the large crowd it attracts, making the atmosphere inside feel a bit chaotic at peak times. Fortunately, the baristas are super polite and work fast, keeping the long lines moving efficiently. The coffee menu and the retail bean selection are both impressive. I decided to try a dulce de leche coffee. While I was expecting a strong caramel profile of dulce de leche, the flavor turned out to be fairly subtle rather than prominent. It added a significant sweetness, but without knowing the order beforehand, identifying the exact flavor would have been tough. That said, the coffee itself was still refreshing The high quality of the coffee bean really shone through, delivering a rich aroma and the ideal caffeine kick for a breezy morning. Great coffee beans and fast service make it worth dropping in, even if the indoor seating situation is a bit tight.

I have had it once before in The City, so I was curious to try it again. There was quite a line, but it moved really fast. And the service was rather exceptional. Vanilla and Matcha Swirl: The flavors worked well with each other. The vanilla was subtle, but the matcha was very distinct. I enjoy the flavor of matcha, so I had no issue with it. However, I can see some people wanting it to be a bit more tame. Still, I enjoyed the cool treat and the cone was a perfect amount for me. Overall, I can see myself coming back here and probably trying their other stuff, such as the drinks.

Another employee was talking to her on the side of the stall and I felt I interrupted their conversation by trying to order. Got a large double matcha latte with soy milk. I forgot to ask for it half sweet, although the other cafe Maikos I've been to automatically came half sweet. I will say the matcha was incredibly sweet and I could not enjoy this matcha. Plus the matcha had a lot of chunks in it, wasn't whisked well. I literally had to throw the drink away after a few sips. I really did not want to since it was almost $9 but I could not keep drinking it. So sad it went to waste.
