I live in Long Beach and had to go to Torrance for a quick errand to another business. Got hungry and hit up Yelp for nearby places. I don't eat out often but when I do I like to support local spots. This place happened to be right across the street from where I was. I may never have seen it otherwise as it's inside a business complex with big buildings. The owners are super friendly and I love that they keep the place nice and clean but most of all, I love that someone is always baking cookies when I walk it. Who doesn't love the smell of freshly baked cookies? They have a great menu selection for breakfast and lunch. First impression: Thank God! I can get finally get sandwiches, soups, and bagel close to where I work. They have a pretty big menu for such a small place. Secondly, the owners are very friendly and helpful. Thirdly, the food is bomb diggity. There's a lot of choices with bread and the Chicken Tortilla Soup is right. They put a great amount of lettuce-- which I absolutely love, because I am the person who asks for extra lettuce at In-n-Out. Fourth, I think it's great that they have a lot of tea options, readily not available at many other places. This place is a hidden gem. It's a bit hard to find since it's located among work offices. When you enter the parking from Western Ave, it's on the other side of the building by the blue water fountain. The food is always so super delicious and fresh. My favorite is the Chicken Chipotle Panini. I really like going here because it's peaceful, quiet and uncrowded. The staff is always so friendly too. They're super positive, polite and welcoming. This spot has excellent sandwiches and breakfast items. I specifically love their Korean BBQ sandwich and chicken pesto. They tasted pretty fresh and flavorful. I also had their breakfast burrito, and it's cool that they offer different kinds of tortilla/wrap. My only gripe is their opening time is inconsistent. Good food, I got an Arnold Palmer once and it was pretty bad. But for food like sandwiches and pastas, can't go bad they're filling.

I would say I am lucky to have a good-quality sandwich cafe in the office building. I tried the Korean bbq sandwich, chicken pesto, and the angus burger. None of them will disappoint you. Coffee is decent too. I also like the salad dressing that is made by them, a bit like French but a bit creamier. Oh, and they occasionally have self made chips too with their own sauce. No fries though. Just be aware It gets quite busy during lunch hour. read more

I ordered the Chinese chicken salad. It's was a huge serving and can easily be split with Co-worker. They can make you a gourmet coffee latte too. There was a steady stream of customers and all the dishes looked fresh. I used to work in the office complex years ago. It's nice to see a good place to grab breakfast and lunch. I've seen this restaurant spot go through a few owners/changes and this is by far the best one. They have a good menu selection for a good price. It's very clean and organized. The people are friendly and welcoming. I come here for breakfast or lunch a few times a week. The sandwiches are huge! I really like the homemade scones and cookies. I love their sandwiches.. especially the avocado and BTL "on wheat w/o mustard". Honestly they are the best sandwiches I've had. I plan to try most of the menu items eventually. The best café there has ever been in this business park. The past 3 were horrible korean fusion train wrecks. This place is modern, clean and the menu finally has variety. Finally get to have breakfast here. Even if you don't work in this business park, you should definitely come in and give it a try. It's worth it. Also, it's never too busy and the staff is very friendly. I haven't been very happy with a few of the items I've tried so far though... Constructive Criticism : Turkey wrap - Ease off the cranberry sauce. It's overpowering and excessive. Use 20% of what you're currently using. It's way way way too much. Acai blueberry smoothie - Use less blueberry flavor or change the flavor pack. It tastes too much like medicine. It's bad enough that it doesn't have real berries. You can also use more banana to mask the flavor. Tuna Sandwich - Great flavor but a mess. The Tuna is too runny. Should be more firm. Also, use smaller chunks in the tuna salad portion of it. I swear I bit into an entire baby carrot. I don't like my sandwich falling apart as I eat it. Balsamic Chicken Wrap - It's literally a salad wrapped in a tortilla. It's huge but mostly just salad. Good taste but not a fan. Wraps should be a little more organized on the ingredients. read more

The food is awesome here. I just happened to try it out on Friday after being disappointed w/ an adjacent restaurant. It is located in the middle of a business center. It was Cafe Poki before. They sell mainly sandwiches, salads, wraps, and coffee. I tried the pesto chicken sandwich with a potato salad as a side. Where do I start? Last night I heard about this place from a friend. Today I took my Mom and my kids to check it out. As we walked in, the people that work there were so friendly.
