From the gentleman coming out to survey my belongings to the three movers Ed, Dee, and Trotter who packed and moved my things. They made this time so fun and non-stressful. One of your trucks drove down my street today speeding and by so fast and probably not paying attention to his surroundings that he managed to rip a utility line connected to my home this damaging my roof. Didn't even bother to call 911 for a downed power line or notify me. The only reason I know this happened is because I caught it on my surveillance camera and my neighbor luckily informed me. Most of the major movers wouldn't even give us the time of day for our shorter distance in-state move. Bernie did an amazing job coordinating it in a short time, despite several obstacles placed in his way by the CSU system. Roosevelt and Dennis were exactly the kind of calm and efficient help we needed doing the actual move. On both ends they went out of their way to ensure that we were completely satisfied with everything. Moving is one of the most stressful times in life, and the two were simply amazing at calming any worries or concerns we had. I will absolutely use Rebel in the future for any moves. I was charged an extra $3000 because they estimated the weight incorrectly. I got the bad news three weeks after the move. At that point you can't reconsider or go with another vendor They have all your possessions and you have to pay whatever they say. Basically a ransom payment. Make sure and get a guarantee of price BEFORE entering into a moving contract. read more

Rebel Van Lines is my new absolute FAVORITE moving company!! We are moving with the military for the first time and all of our items will be stored for a month while my husband is at OTS. Needless to say, this was a very stressful and anxiety fueled move for both my husband and myself. Rebel Van Lines, specifically Trotter and his team, made our move anything but stressful. They eased all of our nerves and fears within the first 15 minutes. Our moving team consisted of the most professional and considerate gentlemen, Trotter, Dee and Lou. Trotter look the lead on the entire move. Each box was labeled with an inventory lot sticker and number, our last name, the items inside, and the location the items were packed from (i.e. bedroom, kitchen). Trotter then took the time to inventory each box to ensure that nothing goes missing. He even listed the type of box each item was packed in so we can locate it easier! This alone was beyond what we could have imagined!! Trotter and his team then went on to ask us about our valuables and personal items that are of high value. We had lots of wedding gifts that meant a lot to us. We mentioned them to Trotter once, he kept them in his mind the entire move and took extra extra great care of them! I have absolutely no worries! Furthermore, Trotter and his team packed absolutely everything with tremendous care and thoughtfulness. Our packing was a two day process. They specifically left out items that would make us the most comfortable as long as possible. When it came to the furniture, it was wrapped so well I began to question how to unwrap it! It was absolutely amazing! I could go on forever about these guys but the most valuable part about them was their down to earth, cheerful demeanor. Trotter, Lou and Dee were all happy and smiling the entire move. If these guys were unhappy in any way they never let us know it. They are worth 10 stars. I have moved 13 times in 20 years in the Marine Corps, and these guys are at the top of the list. I called dispatch on a Friday to check on my shipment from Hawaii, and they asked if I would be willing to accept delivery on a Sunday, which I was. They called ahead when they were en route, and they showed up on time and ready to work. They were careful to unload one crate at a time so nothing would disappear off the curb, and they were careful to make sure we didn't disturb any other residents. The two-man crew, Roosevelt and Cory, did a full unpack of three crates (about 4000 pounds) in four hours to a third floor apartment. For those of you unfamiliar with a full unpack, it is a pain in the butt, and some movers will get an attitude if you tell them you want the service. Not these guys. They had an awesome attitude and were super courteous, careful and fun to work with. When they left, I had zero paper or boxes to deal with, and they cleaned up really well. They only item broken was due to the packers in Hawaii, and they were quick to point it out and show my where to annotate it on the paperwork for a claim later. Also, the crew in Hawaii didn't include a piece of hardware for a bed, so it gave the crew on this end some trouble putting it together. Again, not their fault and they worked through the issue diligently even though it burned up quite a bit of time. I hope to see Roosevelt and Cory when it comes time to move again, and I recommend Rebel Van Lines to anyone moving to or from the area. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. They took over a month to get in contact with me after moving my stuff from Oregon to Southern California. Once I had called them every day for a week sometimes 3 to 4 times a day they finally located my stuff. They told me my stuff would arrive sometime between 8-11am the driver didn't end up showing up till 5pm. He couldn't even find my house so I had to meet him in a mall parking lot. Once I had got my boxes into my house I noticed they repacked my items. In the process of moving my stuff from box to box they lost 4 pairs of expensive workout shoes. I filed a claim and they said there was nothing they could do because I didn't have the write paper work. Bad experience and out 400 dollars in shoes. read more

Very good experience. I received a phone call the morning of my move and was given a 2 hour window when the crew would arrive (which saved me from being forced to wait around all day). Then I received another call when the crew was en route to my storage unit. Unfortunately, I had misplaced my storage key, so even when the crew arrived and the locksmith was still drilling my lock, everyone was lighthearted and told me not to worry about it (I was stressing out!). Then everything was packed quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend this company for a straightforward and efficient move from a storage unit. read more

Amazing, friendly, courteous, personable, efficient, hard working and paid great attention to detail. It may come to no surprise to anyone who knows me...I'm a control freak. Let me tell you, I did not worry about one thing with them and they let me completely relax. I felt 100% comfortable with them handling all our furniture. I've witnessed other moving companies shove everything through doorways, etc, but these two men treated everything as if it were their own. Super impressed! This military contracted this company to deliver my furniture. I talked to Mindy who arranged everything and she was not helpful at all. My furniture sat in their warehouse for almost a month before they would set up a confirmed delivery date. When they did decide to do so, I was called by "Andy" late the day before telling me that he had something else to do and he'd drop the shipment off when he had time. Would NOT recommend. read more

The worst. I am actually surprised that Rebel Van Lines has a moving license. The movers arrived 3 hours late (the dispatcher lied to me about the reason for the delay). They were completely unprepared to pack and move my two bedroom apartment. They literally showed up without the supplies to do the job. The movers brought broken down moving boxes that had clearly been used in several previous moves. They "created" makeshift boxes by taping them together. The boxes were bulging with obvious gaps. There was no way they would have survived a move. When I realized how shady this company was, I fired them on the spot. I've since read other negative reviews of Rebel Van Lines. Rebel was brought in as a subcontractor on my corporate move. Be very careful if your company has hired a nationally recognized mover, because the work could get subcontracted out to Rebel. I am so glad I stopped this move in it's tracks. It is a relief that I did not leave the care and moving of my home to Rebel Van Lines. read more
