However, I was charged an additional ~$400 in fees to transport my possessions up/down stairs that were not disclosed in initial messages, and was only revealed after the move was performed, too late to dispute or negotiate after the work was performed. In the contract there is no mention of stair surcharges either, so it feels like the individual movers that performed the work added this on top of the contracted fee. The movers did not speak English fluently which added to the confusion over payment and breakdown of costs. Overall the job was performed as expected but the final costs were way more than expected.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! By far the worst moving…read moreexperience of my life. This company was subcontracted by American van lines to fulfil our contract with AVL. To make a very long story short, we were verbally promised delivery within 7-10 days, latest was July 10th, of the pick up date. That did not happen. They even blew past the 20 day delivery window in the contract. Our delivery did not show up until July 27th. All the while we were receiving harassing texts demanding the rest of the payment or else they would turn around. And when the truck did finally arrive, only the driver was present to unload it. We paid for loading and unloading services and were basically left on own with the driver to unload. I have a physical disability and was unable to help, so my partner bore the burden of five grueling hours of unloading a 26 foot moving truck with the driver. We contacted the company after an hour or two passes and still no other movers arrived and were told that, in fact, they WERE there! They even argued with us saying that the movers confirmed they would be there in 45 minutes, 2 hours ago. And yet. No movers. Also the driver used a slur in front of my partner and I about a group of people that I belong to. Absolutely disgusting.

Overall I was satisfied with my move but there were some issues. Someone from the company called me a few weeks before the move and asked me about the items they would be moving. I am not a professional mover but I estimated the total weight to be 2,000 pounds. I asked the person I was talking to if he would be coming to my house for an in person site survey. He said that he was not. This was my first time in almost ten years of military moves that someone did not come by the house to check it out. Come move day the company sent one mover who showed up at 1:30 pm. His name was Roosevelt. Roosevelt took one look at the stuff in my house and told me that he would call for another mover to come help. He left to pick up an additional mover and returned at 3pm. The new guy's name was Burnell. At this point I was a bit annoyed because I had a timeline for my move and I had been waiting all day for the movers and it was 3pm and we hadn't even started yet. However, despite the delay Roosevelt and Burnell worked effectively and efficiently. I never saw them take a break and they worked all the way until they were no longer able to stay on base (past 10pm). They handled my stuff with care. By the time they left that night they were covered in sweat from the day's work. I could find no fault with their work ethic. They returned the next morning as promised and finished the job within a couple of hours. Both were professional and polite. There is no doubt in my mind that if someone had done a site survey of my house and sent Roosevelt and Burnell first thing in the morning the move would have been very smooth. If I was rating just the movers, I would give Roosevelt and Burnell five stars but the communication regarding weight and requirements was subpar forcing me to drop a star. Overall, though the experience was good and i would recommend the company to any moving in the future. read more

My movers were named Roosevelt and Damen. Not only they completed their job at a professional level, but they did it at a fast pace, with great communication and handling with care of all my personal gear. This showed me they have a ton of experience in their field of work. After they boxed up my gear carefully with wrapping paper, Roosevelt went over all the paperwork, reviewed what items were put in each box, triple checked all the items and paperwork. Then they loaded all my boxes on their truck, showed me a secured container they where all my boxes will be put in. At the end, I was given a date of when I will receive my items, the process of my shipment it goes through, and a contact number to call if I have any questions/concerns. Overall these two, Roosevelt and Damen, employees are great representatives of their company. read more

Reggie and Cory did an outstanding job, and Rebel should be commended employing great people as these two. My move from Nevada to Iowa could not have gone any better. After retiring from 46 years in the moving and storage industry, I truly can tell the good and bad movers out there. These gentlemen were not good, but GREAT. Roosevelt and Byrd are some of the most hardworking individuals I have ever met. I am on PCS orders from California to Hawaii and these two have made my pack-out quick and easy. They are both very respectful and professional. They took very good care when packing all of my expensive items as well as breakable items. With taking great caution with my items they were also very fast. Roosevelt and Byrd made the process of the movement both very easy to understand and effortless. The drove out to Ventura county for just a few hours of work at this job and I'm glad Rebel Van Lines sent Roosevelt and Byrd. Highly recommend Rebel Van Lines. Did a super job yesterday! Very well coordinated from start to finish. Several days before the move, I received a call from Bud who asked about the quantity of goods and then explained the process. Dispatcher Anthony called the morning of the move with an estimated time of arrival for the movers. Roosevelt and Burnell arrived promptly ready to pack. They were friendly, polite, professional, and efficient. They were accommodating to our situation and did an excellent job. Trotter and Ed were absolutely amazing! I had been dreading all my furniture coming from Hawaii because I knew what a hassle it would be to have to deal with it, but nope! It went perfectly and I couldn't be anymore thankful for these two awesome dudes! Super polite, super respectful and all around amazing! My husband and I just moved back from Japan and we couldn't wait until our household goods got delivered! The Rebel moving company was extremely professional and helpful. The two gentlemen that came to our home called us informing when they would arrive which we really appreciated! Roosevelt arrived on time and was great at explaining how the whole process works, from packing, labeling, and shipping to if anything were to happen throughout. He made sure everything was inventoried correctly and packed well. Roosevelt also explained how things will be dealt with should anything happen to my shipments and put all my worries at ease. We used Rebelvanlines for two jobs, a couple weeks apart. A team of 8 great guys came and moved our offices (we did the packing), and they were careful, swift, and extremely easy to work with. Funny and smart. It was a brutally hot day, and they never lost their cool. I had such a wonderful experience while using REBEL for my mother's move. Unfortunately, we were not ready to move until 3pm. But I was impressed that they called to try to schedule an earlier time. They arrived promptly at 3pm. Both men were professional and personable. They were also fast and they were careful with the furniture. I highly recommend Twilight Movers.

They took safety precautions for COVID and got in and out in the allotted time. I appreciate their great service and would highly recommend them! Will definitely use their services again.

Alex was quick to quote with a very reasonable hourly rate. He was upfront about any other charges that could incur. My actual price was within what I was quoted. Another service I really liked was getting a confirmation call the day before and a call in the morning for an ETA on the day of the move. Archie and his team arrived on time, and was able to move my stuff safely and as quick as possible. They even unloaded my stuff exactly how I wanted it. The whole experience was outstanding.
