Typically, Red Lobster is one of my favorite date night spots; it's nothing fancy, but good seafood, a nice atmosphere, and friendly service. Tonight, everything was as good as ever with one exception: the disappointment was the crab. Just as with most places, I have a favorite/regular dish here. It's called "the ultimate feast" and includes a lobster tail, crab legs, shrimp, scampi and breaded, choice of side (I always get the mashed potatoes), and choice of soup or salad (I always have a garden salad with blue cheese dressing). Everything was very good except for the crab. The legs were incomplete (missing sections) and were what I guess was over-cooked. I've only had crab in this condition once before and it was at a low-budget buffet. I don't expect that this is normal; everything else on the plate was just right. My wife went for the $15 soup, salad, entree, and dessert that they're currently offering. Very good value, and her food was all excellent. We paid an extra dollar for the lobster bisque and it was well worth it. She also had the garden salad with blue cheese dressing, coconut shrimp, and chocolate cake & ice cream dessert. This location is the worst Red Lobster I have ever been to. Before arriving I called to make a reservation for 7 people, as it was my mothers birthday and this is where she wanted to have dinner. The reservation was made for 7pm (THREE DAYS IN ADVANCE) we still waited in the lobby and were not sat until 7:30pm. Upon asking why we had to wait we were told by the manager (Ryan) that they do not take reservations for parties under 8 and there was nothing that he could do about it. Which was never communicated on the phone. Reluctantly we decided to stay, our biggest mistake. We sat, we ordered our food and waited for over an hour for it to arrive. Our waitress stayed hiding in the kitchen practically the entire time we were there, so at this point we were just done. We asked to speak to a manager. After our unpleasant experience with Ryan, we asked for the other manager on duty. The other manager (Sierra) came to the table and asked what was going on. We told her our discrepancies and instead of apologizing, she raised her voice and started to get an attitude, acting like all we wanted was a free meal. At one point telling us that she would take 25% off of our meal and asked, "is that going to make you happy?" Completely disrespectful. My family and I will NEVER be returning to this location. read more

Gosh, look guys, I know it's a chain, but I seriously love this place. It has those iconic biscuits after all. I love the promotions, especially the all you can eat shrimp, which is what prompted a visit from me this past weekend. I noticed some great additions to the menu, namely pan fried brussle sprouts. The quality of products has not changed over the years and it still delivers some standard and moderately priced seafood. I'm glad to see a bit more menu items that are geared towards Asian inspired foods. Red Lobster was my favorite restaurant when I was a kid, and it's great to go back to someplace and have the food taste just the same as you always remember it. read more

i ate at red lobster bettendorf iowa and found it to be very poor quality. we had clam strips and cod. the flsh was dry and somewhat grainy versus flaky as it shpold be. clam strips dry and tasteless no size at all. very poor meal will not return. i have probably ate there over 100 times.never again have heard same from others. read more

This is my first time coming here and Ryan was great! He was on top of the drinks, and we ordered many refills of iced tea. My steak I ordered medium and it came out well done, but he took it back after he saw that it wasn't what I had ordered and brought a perfect steak back!! I also had a Maine lobster tail with it and it was melt in your mouth goodness. The biscuits are unlimited and very good as well. We will definitely be coming back, and asking for Ryan! My large party came here for some dinner. We were tired from driving and hungry. So our patience was wearing thin. We came at 7:30pm. We didn't get seated until after 9pm. We were a large party but it took over and 1.5 hours to get a us seated. They estimated a time of 30-45 minutes of waiting and then 30 minutes into it they added an addition 30-45 minutes. The annoying part was that they don't accept reservations. Also, a lot of people who came after us had their dinner and left. The service wasn't too bad. The food was average. Your not getting anything special. We did get extra cheese biscuits and some small scoops ice cream for some birthdays. (we requested) Overall, it sucks to be waiting for so long. It might of been easier to go to McDonalds. read more

So update to my updates of my Red Lobster experiences. We decided to go for an early dinner and avoid the crowd and I have to say we had a really great experience. Troy our waiter was very knowledgable, attentive, cute with just a great personality! Guest services sent me a $75.00 Gift Card which I found to be quite generous. In fact we only used $51.00 so we will be able to go again. The food was great, the table in the back was clean and there was no one slamming that nasty broom around which made our entire experience even better!! Down side is they STILL have that broom on the wall so everyone just AVOID that booth and you hopefully you will have a great evening also. Thank you Red Lobster! read more

Very disappointed in the service at the restaurant. Took forever to get a salad with grilled shrimp on it. The waitress was subpar, and then they over-cooked a steak & then took it back to re-fire it, and it didn't come out until at least 30 minutes later when the rest of our party had already finished. read more

Wanted a special meal for my birthday... food was sub-par - the "fun" drink the waiter explained to me was not what he ordered and when I finally got it, the bartender took all of the fun out of it. My lobster was rubbery and had a fishy smell. I ate some of my husband's lobster - it was 'ok'. My steak was chewy also. We have not been here in a while since the local casino's buffet will fill the seafood craving, but I'm glad we stopped in. The service was great and the food was really good, a little quality over quantity lol. If you want good seafood without the hussle and crowds of the casinos this is a great place to start. A good time was had by all in this somewhat moderate priced establishment. I recently had the luck of being a guest at Red Lobster and it was easy to find next to Lowes off McCarran. It's in a stand-alone building with their logo all over it so it's hard to miss. We were welcomed warmly and brought to a nice booth table over looking other happy diners. We received a huge menu and took our time choosing what we wanted and the wait staff, who were very helpful allowed us time to go through the big menu. I finally arrived at the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake with several types of seafood all over linguine with a garlic and white wine sauce. A little of everything. Then, since I don't drink when I'm out I had a juice drink with, I believe had lemonade and strawberries added. The plate i received was huge and I felt a little better about the over double digit price we paid for it. I could hardly eat the whole thing and we talked about taking it home but I kept digging into mussels, shrimps and scallops and pretty soon I was left with nothing to take home but a belly full of delicious seafood! It was nice that our waitress was always available to us if we had questions or requests but that she left us alone to enjoy our meals for the most part.she did check in occasionally though to make sure we had all we needed. At the end of the meal, she asked us if we'd like dessert but we were too full. When I have the money, I'll certainly come back here. read more

3.5 stars. I know, I know. I had to be living under a rock my entire life because last week was the first time in my thirty years to a Red Lobster. I have only in the last few years become a fan of seafood so thats probably why I haven't been here before. That and it's pretty damn expensive, almost a hundred bucks for me, my wife and two kids. It was good though. My wife got the big platter with lobster, crab, shrimp, etc. and I got the all you can eat shrimp. I had 7 servings and they were all fantastic. They must have a hot tub size vat of butter back there. Everything is swimming in butter but I guess that's how most seafood is prepared. Service was pretty good, nothing wrong but nothing to write home about. I'll go again as long as they have the all you can eat shrimp. Other than that, too expensive for my caviar dreams on a mac' n cheese budget. read more

We come as a family for lunch on the weekend. They have delicious cheddar bay biscuits! My daughter likes to get the shrimp scampi. I like the Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo. Service is always good. Be carful not to eat too many biscuits. They are addicting. read more

Ok. I haven't been to a red lobster in at least 10 yrs and I really really wanted to go before crabfest ended. So my husband said he would take us and the baby for a dinner date here since we love crab and I haven't been in so long. I was estatic to be able to try the ultimate feast. Sadly when we arrived, the hostess/ greeter lady was talking to us when what appeared to be either the manger or shift manager came up and demands her attention which really threw us off and put her into confusion trying to communicate with us, the other man and another waiter asking about a table. So finally after a few tense moment we where taken to a table and seated. We looked over our menus and waited for our server to come back. Our server did not show. The manager looking man did come around and ask if we had been asked our drinks and such. We said no. Nobody has come. He said do you know the waitress name? We said no sir we wasn't told the name. He said ok enjoy your night and just left. So we sat there another 15 mins. Total of 20 mins with nobody stopping to ask us for drinks or silverware or anything. The place wasn't packed at all and we even heard someone get sung the full birthday song ( which even that wasn't as enthusiastic as you would expect). Finally we just got up and left. We instead went down the street to Applebee's. Applebee's waitress greeted us and sat us and we had drinks in about 5 mins. read more

This is one of my favorite lunch spots! At lunch the prices are better and it's not over-crowded (when I drive by at night, we see people waiting outside). At lunch, we usually get in and out in under an hour - which is AWESOME! Our salads are to us within 5 minutes of ordering, and by the time we finish, our meals are placed in front of us - SUPERB TIMING! The bread is TO DIE FOR and every entree we've tried has been great (except the fish & chips - it wasn't bad, but wasn't super flavorful either). The staff is always super nice - I can't really think of anything bad about this place. Highly recommended! read more

This was the first time I have been to Red Lobster. I am not a big fish fan, and went with some friends who really wanted to go. That being said, I found that I liked the tilapia. The service was good, although the server did have to come back a couple of times to make sure he had our order right. It didn't matter too much to us since it was brought to us correctly. The Caesar salad was ok...the dressing wasn't very good, not that there was much of it, but the rest was decent. The atmosphere was nice and everything seemed clean. The complimentary biscuits were good and the baked potato was very good. I probably will be back if I get a craving for tilapia again. read more

Worst birthday meal EVER. Got cheesesticks as an appetizer and they were cold although Yesenia insisted they were right out of the fryer, but they were rubbery AND cold. I ordered a lobster and shrimp overboard special and the lobster was wayyyyyyyy over cooked, brown and rubbery. One if the other dinners was the cedar plank seafood bake and the lobster was also overcooked. This was on 2 of the dinners. The other 2 didn't have lobster. Somehow the rice was undercooked, WTH? But the maple chicken wasn't grilled, it looked like it was boiled then covered in sauce. The only thing offered was 1 free dessert, for the birthday boy, but Yesenia said it was a dessert for the table. We ordered the cheesecake as we were leaving, but were charged for 3 of them. We thought they were free for the table, but I guess not. And we got 20% off the bill, as the manager curtly corrected us we when we said it was 10%. He offered to take the desserts off the bill but it was paid and all we wanted to do is LEAVE. Not nearly good enough. read more

Well, seen them here for awhile and wanted to try something different. Since you always see the ads on TV we thought we would give it a try. I ordered the lunch special, catfish and 1 side my wife ordered the shrimp and linguine. I'll start with the appetizer biscuits they were in texture not bad but were they salty I mean water drinking salty. I asked for butter to tone it down but that never got there till our lunch arrived. So I'll start with the catfish it looked to be fresh well fresh frozen with a batter that came with it frozen. Not pan fried, deep fried, but maybe quick oven baked. Not terrible tasty either. It came with sour cream and butter for the baked potato, which looked nothing like the picture, neither in size or shape. Here's where it goes down hill. The sour cream was not real sour cream. How do I know, I'm allergic to artificial/chemical replaced food products within 30 seconds my tongue got that weird taste feeling and my eyes started to get that sleepy look. The butter also had an additive to stretch it out. How much money can you save for not going real 25 cents maybe 50 cents. My wife's lunch the shrimp linguine was below average she took most of it home as a second meal bad sign meaning will it make it to the table or trash can. All in all when you compare your lunch to, we should have gone to xxxxxxx for lunch, then that speaks a lot in it self. So as I finished the rest of the day waiting for my swollen eyes to come back to normal I'll say this "BEEN THERE DONE THAT". read more
