Service was prompt and polite. This is a great location near the water picture area and there's much more parking than the Anaheim Hills location. Ambiance is nice, dimly lit, relaxing,clean and topped off with the scent of great food. I have heard so much about the beef stroganoff I decided to order it finally. Typically I order the prime rib dip or mahi mahi sandwich but I figured so many people rave about the stroganoff I wanted to try it. Wrong choice I didn't like it at all $25 down the drain. It was super greasy and kind of bland. No fault if the restaurant I think it's my taste I just didn't like it and I will never order it again. I will stick to my regular choices. I don't want to leave this review but after multiple disappointments, someone needs to speak up. The food is never fresh, it's mediocre. Why??? My hubby and daughter had a date night while my son was home sick. They both came home and said "never again" Respectfully they ordered us take out. Please look at the video of absolute betrayal. The truth hurts but if you want this location to thrive you need to team up and take pride. So sad. read more

Ok this place was amazing. Had a father daughter diner and I chose this place. Let me tell you that it did not disappoint. The restaurant is nice , very clean , has a sports bar and most importantly everyone was really nice. Let me tell you about the delicious food. To start we ordered the deviled eggs and the wrapped jalapeños. The for the entree I got the braised short ribs with a side salad. My daughter got the southern fried chicken. We'd tried stopping into this place on a Friday night, and the wait was a good 1.5 hrs or so, so we tried again and with a reservation this time. I love when a place takes reservations, it makes it so much easier to enjoy our favorites. The hostess were very friendly and attentive, and we were seated in a large round booth with a view of the dinning room. The place is lively with darkness to it and I appreciated all of the unique decor and textures. The food tasted just as good as it all looked/sounded, but unfortunately our service was just lacking throughout the night. Our server was nice, but not good. She brought some waters, took our drink orders and then disappeared for quite a while - a good 10-15 min. The PB&J old fashioned ended up being better than expected and was delish, but one of the other old regular fashions we ordered, accidentally ended up with the PB whiskey in it too. When she finally came around again, we were able to flag her down to get a replacement. We had two kids with us and one of them was brought only a cup of ice and we waited again another 10-15 before finally getting her canned drink too. Once we finally all had our correct drinks and our server took our order. I asked if we could have our appetizers and entrees come out all together. She said no problem, but after waiting for what seemed an unusually long amount of time, our appetizers finally came out, but without the entrees. We ordered the coconut shrimp, crispy asparagus, asian crispy ribs, and pretzel. All of them had great flavors, and we really enjoyed them, but unfortunately again, they weren't all hot. Our ribs were actually cold. Luckily, they tasted amazing, so I wasn't quite ready to complain about it yet. When our entrees finally came out, they really were so good - the halibut sandwich and burger were amazing. We didn't end up liking the warm potato salad that our server suggested on the side tho, and ended up having to order an extra side to replace it. By the end of dinner, we had been there quite a while already, and with slow service throughout the night. I was ready to call it, but the kids wanted desserts. We ordered a basic sundae and the brûléed lemon bars. The sundae came out right away, but once again we waited another 15 min or so more for the second dessert. We were finally done and just waiting on our server, again, for our receipt, when a hostess kindly approached us telling us we had reached our 2 hr dinning time limit and they needed our table. We understood and as we were leaving, I approached the hostess and told her about our experience. Had we actually had good service, we would have easily been in and out of there within an hr or so. I was disappointed with this place. I don't mind spending on food, especially when it's such great food, but they only got it half right for us here that night. I'm not sure what happened - maybe our server was struggling/having a bad night, maybe the kitchen was slow/short staffed, but they missed the mark for us. read more

Haven't been to this location up until recently and the location + restaurant itself are excellent. Thank you for accommodating our group in celebrating a graduation. All the servers/employees walking by congratulated our graduate which was very kind. Also big thank you to our server, wish I got her name who was all friendly, quick and efficient! Now the food. Wish I got pictures before we went after the apps but the coconut shrimps, garlic moods & calamari were all amazing!! Big fan of the shrimps and noodles. For lunch I got the prime dip sandwich was was delicious, also got a bite of dessert of the butter cake which I highly recommend trying. I had eaten at the Anaheim Hills location previously and tried the Corona location this time around at Dos Lagos. I had made a reservation on OpenTable and were seated immediately after arriving. We shared a crispy rib appetizer, my lady had the Seafood Cioppino and I had the oven roasted Prime Rib with a loaded baked potato and asparagus. We had good service but the fire alarm went off while were eating and it was quite loud. We both enjoyed the food. We will have to come again soon. Four stars! read more

Beautiful view. Great outdoor patio BLT-the bread is grilled with so much butter. It is squishy. There is an inch of lettuce and the tomatoes are cut at over a quarter inch thick and there is a good amount of bacon but the tomato and the lettuce completely take away. The service was good. Pineapple beverage was very good and had a great balance of juice and tequila. Really enjoyed. Deviled eggs - while impressive looking this was the loser of the group. The eggs were piled high with filling that had chunks of pickle and a spicy sauce over the top with a piece of bacon. It wasn't great and I'll pass in the future. Blue cheese wedge - was very fresh and good balance of toppings. I would get again. The only drawback was the blue cheese, it was flavorless and lacked that typical pungent flavor. Sourdough Burger - was outstanding and great quality of meat. The burger was slightly overcooked but it still was great. Also the fries that came with it were amazing. Very good! Came here for a congratulatory brunch with family and had some pretty good food and drinks. Logan was our server and he was very polite and attentive. I was surprised with how fast the food came out and it came out all together so no one was waiting for anyone else's food to arrive to eat. I really enjoyed the espresso martinis! The food was good but I wouldn't say it was amazing. It's was pretty standard for brunch food. I did enjoy the entire meal and we didn't have complaints from the rest of the party. Busy busy busy! This restaurant was popping! It was super crowded, which makes sense since it opened earlier this year. We walked up and put our name in for a party of 4. The wait was about 45-50 minutes. Inside the restaurant it is loud. There's music blaring and people talking very loudly. Noise travels in this facility. This is not the best place for an intimate conversation. At least on a Saturday night. Service was good. I feel bad for the servers. There was so many of them running around trying to get orders etc. It's like a zoo in there lol The food is decent. The crispy pancetta pasta (without meat) was bland. The sauce was needing of flavor. We were disappointed in that dish. The prime rib was alright- not melting off the bone like it should be. The spinach dip needed some cheese or something lol It was so much spinach. The crispy calamari was really good- you get thick pieces of calamari! The sauce is not suitable for the calamari though. We arrived on a Saturday evening with no reservations for a party of two. We were seated rather quickly. The restaurant itself is quite beautiful. I really appreciate the subtle decor and lovely aesthetic. They have a sit down fire pit in the middle where you can enjoy your meals and drinks in front of a fire. The food was very delicious, the deviled eggs were packed with flavor. My chicken was very good and my friends salad she enjoyed. I will say the wait time for anything and everything was a little long. We were there for a good 45 minutes before we actually got our order taken. They kept changing the staff that was helping us. I'm not sure if they forgot about us a few times or if there was just miscommunication between who was covering who. But we also had to ask for everything like silverware. This our 3 times coming here and it never disappoints. Today we had the soft pretzel double smash burger, crunchy chicken sandwich, thai chicken noodle bowl, beer and espresso martini. The soft pretzel is soft and warm comes with 2 sauces great as an appetizer. The double smash burger was just okay. The crunchy chicken sandwich was very good lots of avocado and bacon. The chicken noodle bowl was very good a little too spicy next time I will order less spicy but, over I was happy with the flavors. My espresso martini was very good! Our waitress was welcoming and we had good service the manage came to check on us and even cleared our table. We decided to go here for lunch with some clients. Boy was I surprised, the service was excellent. Our waiter was really nice, the restaurant is a little quiet but that's probably because it was an early lunch. As for my food, WOW!! The short rib plate was excellent. It was a VERY generous portion and I wasn't able to finish it at all, but, my wife can enjoy it as I had it packed up to go. The only issue is, it's a little price.
