EASILY 5 stars! Our waiter, Kevin, was AMAZING! Accommodating, friendly, and just super sweet. My husband got a Manhattan to start, and said it was the best drink we've had on our whole trip (visiting from Chicago.) I had a glass of Riesling and it was a great semi sweet. For an appetizer, we got the avocado wantons, which was the perfect combo of sweet and salty. DEFINITELY recommend. For dinner, my husband had the sour dough burger, which was cooked a perfect medium well. I had the pan seared salmon, and it was deliciously flaky. The vegetables were roasted very nicely, and the mustard sauce it was in was rich, but not too heavy. We didn't do dessert because we were fat and happy! DO NOT miss visiting! Super cute brunch spot in Laguna beach. Even during covid times they have safety measures in place to make you feel safe dining in. Everyone was wearing masks and the staff is quick to respond. We were seated fairly quickly with a Reservation and now that they have QR code's it's easy to order. We ordered the chicken and biscuits, and Reunion Benedict with the addition of of bottomless mimosa (of course) +$11-13 depending if you want champagne or mimosas. The Reunion Benedict was tasty and was not dry. The egg unfortunately was cooked too long on the Benedict so no egg porn unfortunately. So I do have to dock one star off for that. The chicken and biscuits was crispy and meaty. We got them with the hash browns which was super crisp and fresh. Food and service was amazing. We went here NYE last minute and were able to get seated at the bar. I ordered the chicken and biscuits, and my date ordered the tuna melt. The fried chicken was the best I ever had. It looked good when I saw other people ordering it (which is why I ordered it), but tasting it was another thing. The sides were great as well. The mashed potatoes didn't have too much cream/butter. I like my mashed potatoes to taste like potatoes. The veggies were top notch, crispy, and not too salty. The only thing I didn't really like were the biscuits. My date's tuna melt was great too. Tuna was fresh and definitely not canned. A lovely little spot to eat! My husband and I were down in Laguna Beach and planned ahead for our dinner the day prior since seating capacities are limited within restaurants due to COVID. We ended up loving the sound of the menu here, so I booked a reservation through Yelp the day prior, which was a very smooth process! We got seated right away when we arrived at the restaurant and were given touchless menus that use QR codes to browse what they were serving. Everything sounded great, so it was a difficult choice, but we ended up going with the fried calamari as our appetizer, my husband got the Rosemary's Fried Chicken and Biscuits as his entree, while I got the Charred Romaine Stack with Blackened Chicken (I had the option to choose between grilled or blackened, and went with the latter because I've never had a bad serving of blackened chicken, truly!) Oh! And I also ordered a Tequila Mockingbird (which was generous on the tequila pour!) while my husband opted for a beer. The calamari was well portioned and the pieces were slightly on the larger side -- a nice snack to hold us off until the main courses arrived. And, let me tell you, they were DELISH. Again, our servings were well portioned here. My salad came not on a "stack" but instead tossed (MANY thanks to our waitress for offering that option, as I likely would've ended up doing the same thing to it anyway!), and was SO flavorful. The chicken was cooked perfectly, they added the right amount of dressing, everything tasted fresh, and the salad came with CAPERS, which I absolutely love. They livened up the whole dish! My husband really enjoyed the fried chicken and biscuits. He said that the chicken was juicy, the veggies that come on the side were roasted well, and he loved the honey butter that's served alongside the biscuit. We ended up opting for dessert and ordered the Warm Butter Cake... and honestly, it might have been our favorite part of the whole meal! At the very least, it was the perfect way to wrap everything up. The cake is super decadent and almost like a cheesecake in the center, while it's lighter and fluffier toward the edges, and even has a little crunch at the bottom. It came served with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream, and just one was large enough to share between the two of us. I like to think of this restaurant as a go to locals spot. It's away from the buzz of the touristy spots and the food is really really good! I always opt for the cob salad. Although the appearance of the restaurant wouldn't lead you to think so, it always reminds me of farm to table. The greens are fresh and crisp, thick cut bacon, and a healthy serving of avocado. This is the place to go after hiking at Crystal Cove State Park! Walked into a great airy atmosphere. We were seat promptly and ordered bottomless mimosas to get our brunch going. Later we ordered their Golden French Toast with a side of sausage and Reunion Eggs Benedict. It was delicious! Very flavorful dishes and our server was very sweet and friendly. My family had dinner at Reunion Kitchen + Drink on our last night of vacation and I really wish we would've discovered it sooner! We ordered food to go and it was delicious and hot when we sat down to eat. I ordered the crispy pancetta pasta with blackened chicken and my husband got the slow braised short ribs and both meals were excellent. My son got a kid's cheeseburger and it was so big that he only managed to eat half, but he said it was really good. Greeting: hostess was friendly and attentive, showed us right to our table upon checking in. Ambiance: place is nice, but dining area doesn't match lounge area, I get what they are trying to accomplish, having a "restaurant " area, but expand the lounge look thru the whole place, it had a good vibe to it. Drinks: she had the Rasberry Beret and I had a cold domestic beer. Rasberry Beret was delicious, we recommend! Food: we ordered the salmon and the flat iron steak, we were hoping for some flavors but I have to say it was very bland and boring. It wasn't bad. It wasn't great or memorable either. Our server was helpful and very friendly, easy to ask questions to. The price point is a bit high for the Reunion, but it is Laguna... If we come back, and we probably will, we will choose the lounge atmosphere with some drinks and maybe some sides. read more

Excellent service and generous portions. Four of us ate here before attending the Pageant of the Masters, where we parked our vehicle. It is a little ways out of the main downtown area, but we briskly walked there in 15 min. and walked back, although there is a free trolley. The sidewalks getting there are narrow and a little disjointed, but not a problem. read more

California omelet and breakfast sandwich are excellent. My wife and I went here with her parents and my mother on a Saturday at around 10:30 am. We had reservations, but that didn't seem super necessary since we basically opened the place up. After being seated, we met our server and were poured water while we perused the menu. My Mom and wife got the endless mimosa/champagne while the rest of us had coffee. Soon, we had made our decisions. I got the California Omelet with bacon, avocado, and other components, with hash browns and wheat toast on the side. Also, I requested a side of their diablo sauce, which was nice and spicy with excellent flavor. A great add-on to the omelet. My wife ordered the breakfast sandwich, and really enjoyed it. My Mom got the spinach and artichoke omelet with fruit, my mother-in-law got the French toast, and my father-in-law got the short stack of pancakes, which had three MASSIVE pancakes on it. When all was done, we had a good amount of leftovers to take home, and everyone was plenty full and impressed. The prices were very reasonable for the portions and quality of the food, and service was excellent throughout the meal. This is definitely an excellent place to come for some brunch, or probably any other meal, or even just drinks. We'll definitely visit again when in the area. read more

We left the restaurant on a high cause we thought all of the food and the drinks were awesome! My daughter took the rest of her burger home cause we ordered way too much. At the restaurant she complained her burger tasted funny. I asked her how and she said it tasted burnt. We brushed it off and explained that it's probably just how the charring is and its probably not too bad. When we got home and got hungry, I took the patty out and tasted it, cause she refused to eat more of it. It was sooo bitter! it didn't even taste like meat,it was pure charcoal! I should have believed her and had it corrected right while we were still there. We ordered it to be medium. The middle was pink but I had a feeling it was left too long on one side. It was covered with so much cheese maybe to mask it but I think one would know if they made a mistake by intentionally putting the cheese on the burnt side. They should have changed it. Had dinner with my family here and it was great! Very small restaurant though and a little hard to find (next to Pavillions parking lot, across from Sherwin Williams). I didn't see any designated parking so parked on the street. What I loved and made this establishment stand out was that they had a separate kids menu! That's hard to find in Newport & Laguna. Very kid friendly! Food: Everything was amazing! Had Deviled Eggs as an appetizer, kids had burger & fries, mac & cheese. I had a bite of the burger and wow! I need to come back for an adult burger! Mac & cheese was really good too. We also tried the Clam Chowder which was great. For myself I had the French Dip and my husband had the Fried Chicken & Biscuits with Gravy. Both dishes were great but the French Dip was better by far. The meat was tender and juicy! The bread was fresh and soft. They had a nice looking cocktail menu too! Service: our server was friendly and great. She checked on us often. Our only comment would be that the food took a very long time to come out. My husband and I drove into Laguna Beach on a Friday night. Arriving at our hotel around 9 PM, there was not a lot open late...especially as we were hoping to walk from our hotel. Thanks to Yelp, we found Reunion Kitchen. When we arrived, just before 10 PM, there were a few people dinging, though the place was emptying out. We were assured that they were still serving, and we had a really delicious meal without feeling rushed at all, especially, as toward the end, were were the very last diners there. We even lucked out, as it was late night happy hour, and we saved a few bucks on each drink and appetizer. There was so many delicious drinks on the menu, that I didn't really know where to start. I asked for guidance, and learned that the Vanilla Old Fashioned was one of the most popular drinks. They did a great job with crafted cocktails, and even made my Old Fashioned with brandy for me, as requested. I enjoyed the loaded deviled eggs, burnt cauliflower, and the heirloom tomato burrata. Everything was amazing! It was so much food that I couldn't finish, even though I shared some. I did try though! Our service was great. As I said, we never felt rushed. Our server was friendly, made friendly chit chat, and was always available when needed and checked in on us regularly, I will definitely return to Reunion Kitchen next time I'm in town. read more
