    Beautiful !!

A friend invited me to this place and told me it was a gem in San Pedro and he was right! I loved it; the waitress was super friendly. I ordered an iced coffee very tasty and the French toast with fruit on top, which was delicious. The place itself is beautiful, full of colors and lot of flowers; I loved it.

Cozy spot with a vintage feel and very friendly staff. They had a large selection of food that did not disappoint - sweet, savory, and Mexican + American classics. Big enough portions to share and then some! Will have to come back to SP just for this spot

Very good local breakfast spot in San Pedro. We stopped by this morning and were seated right away, then ordered a Mexican coffee, a Mexican hot chocolate, a caramel latte, and teas. All were delicious!! For our food, I opted for steel cut oatmeal and the others got French toast, pancakes with fresh berries, and Huevos Rexeros. Food was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Service was good. There was plenty of free street parking. Bill was a little over $80 (after tax and credit card service fee). Happy to return.

Yummy Tuna Melt! Cheesy tuna goodness is great!

We were in the San Pedro area and it has been awhile since we had been to Rex's. Fond memories drew us back today for brunch take out. We reviewed the menu and ultimately chose a couple of car friendly options. We settled on the Breakfast Burrito and the Tuna Melt. The breakfast burrito was yummy and easy to handle. It was stuffed with generous amounts of bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs, cheese, and accompanied by a side of refried beans. The salsa added a mild punch to every bite. So satisfying! The tuna melt was also tasty with a tangy tuna salad with melty cheddar cheese all nestled between two toasted slices of bread. This really hit the spot. We enjoyed our quick stop at Rex's Cafe and hope to stop by in the future when we can linger on site! Great choice though for a meal on the run today. Yay!

Amazing place for breakfast! Recommended from the hotel front desk at doubletree it was a short walk to Rex's cafe. The staff was amazing - super accommodating with our baby - friendly and fast service. The food was really good. I highly recommend getting the breakfast burrito!

The food is phenomenal! This place is definitely a hole in the wall! The service is great. The staff is very energetic and friendly. If you are in San Pedro this place is a must try. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. 10/10 will come back again

One of my favorite breakfast spots. I love the team here especially Lupe she is so nice! I always try to arrive early when no one is around yet and enjoy a coffee/latte. So quiet and peaceful, My favorite coffee in all of San Pedro. Occasionally i come here with bae, and enjoy breakfast. Service is fast and friendly and the shop is set up so cute and cozy. It is a tiny place and can be packed during the weekend or as it becomes later in the morning. Definitely a place worth visiting in this town.

I've tried many of the other restaurants in the area and for some reason had missed this one because I don't live close by. This past weekend I gave it a try and thought it was terrific. There is a free parking lot attached on the side of the building so parking is very easy and inside is pretty large with booth seating as well as regular table seating. They also have outdoor seating as well, but it was a bit windy on the day we stopped in. Our server was very polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. They also had a very large amount of limited time specials so I had to take them up on one of those options. We started off with the coffee cake and I thought it was pretty good although it was gigantic. I'm a bit more of a fan of the gooier coffee cake and this was a bit cake ear but still it was enjoyable. I also tried the spicy turkey chili and thought that was a 10 out of 10. I absolutely loved the amount of spice and it had some really great flavors. For my breakfast, I chose one of the specials, which was the Carne Asada Chilaquiles and thought it was terrific. It was a ton of meat and it was honestly more than I could finish, but I really enjoyed trying to. I would definitely recommend and would stop again next time I'm in the area.

Their service was great - super friendly and they even brought fans to keep flies away from our table. There was just one fly but they immediately came and let us use the fan which gave us a great impression. Food was generous and one dish was more than enough for two, but me and my husband each ordered a plate along with a bowl of clam chowder, onion rings and pancake w/fries for the kids to share so we had a ton to take home too haha The food didn't surprise me as much; The clam chowder wasn't what I expected but their fries and onion rings were good! All in all we had a great experience and would love to come back again! I also loved the interior!

I loved listening to one of the guys in the kitchen sing. 5 stars for service My server had amazing energy and was very accommodating to every type of customer who came in, including those who were a little rough around the edges. She let me stay past closing so I could finish my iced tea and do some more work on my laptop. 5 stars for food It was a perfect Denver omelette, well cooked with plenty of cheese and peppers and Ham and onions nicely diced. The breakfast potatoes were thinly sliced and nice and crispy, which surprisingly is hard to find in a diner. The iced tea was strong and plentiful. I realize that diner fare is not typically considered five-star cuisine, but for what they do, they did excellently. A perfect lunch experience. No notes. It's very small inside, but there's a patio in the back. Parking is free but limited.
