RI Food Fights' "Lord of the Pies!" brought us in to check out Rhody Slice -- and it did not disappoint! The dining room is very clean, warm, and comfortable -- although I took mine to go, this would be a great spot to sit and enjoy. The server at the counter was super friendly and helpful in guiding me toward a great choice. They had about 8-10 different types of slices on display, all looking fresh and tempting. I went with a slice topped with meatball, green peppers, and red onion -- and it was excellent. Fresh ingredients, perfect balance of sauce and cheese, no flop, and a satisfying crunch to the crust. An all-around great slice and a solid stop for any pizza lover in South County!

First stop for the day. First of six on the fourth leg of the RI FOOD FIGHTS Lord of the Pies event. Starting fresh, stomach ready, expectations high. Rhody Slice in North Kingstown has that awesome, relaxed vibe nailed. The paper lanterns casting that warm red and orange glow across the room. The space feels more like a community gathering spot or a cool coffee house than a slice joint. Tables where you can actually settle in. Art on the walls. The kind of place that makes you want to stick around after you finish eating. The cooler is stocked with Yacht Club soda and Del's lemonade. Not just because they're local, but because they're a reminder of where you are. Rhode Island products in a Rhode Island spot. Rhode Island slices. That matters. The pizza this year was better than last time. Really great slices. Good size, proper New York fold, but with a crispness that develops as you work through it. The crust has structure and flavor. Not just a delivery system for toppings but an actual component worth paying attention to and enjoying. The sauce is what stands out. Savory, herbaceous. You can taste the care that went into it. Fresh ingredients, proper seasoning. Not hiding behind sugar or salt. Just good tomato flavor with herbs that enhance rather than overwhelm. Got both cheese and pepperoni as well as a sausage ricotta for my friends. The cheese slice was my favorite. Simple, clean, everything in balance. The sauce really shines here without competing elements. The pepperoni was really good too but the ronis overwhelm the rest of the slice. But excellent quality all around. Looking at those slices on that branded pink paper with the tomato pattern, you can see what they're going for. Casual but considered. Fun but serious about the pizza. The branding matches the vibe of the place. First stop of the day. Set the bar high. Five more to go, but Rhody Slice made it clear this was going to be a nice day for pizza. Good pizza, good people, good atmosphere. Sometimes that's all you need. Worth stopping in if you're in North Kingstown. Worth coming back when you're not in the middle of eating six pizzas in one day.

Rhody slice Unassuming from the outside, but Rhody Slice turned out to be a little gem in North Kingstown! When you walk inside, you're greeted with lots of natural light and natural wood tones. I loved the cute wall of open shelving with plants draped throughout, and I thought the hanging paper lanterns were a lovey add. This restaurant is a casual counter service spot, and the worker who took our order was very nice and efficient. I ordered a slice of the Fun Guy, which had ricotta, mozzarella, portobello mushrooms, infused truffle oil, fresh arugula, and parmigiana. I have to say that I was very impressed with the pizza! The toppings were flavorful, and the crust, from first bite to last bite, was enjoyable. I really liked how the mushrooms were cooked and the truffle flavor came through nicely. The slice was also enormous! Definitely a generous portion of pizza. My overall experience at Rhody Slice was great! Everything from the atmosphere to the food in front of me was enough to entice me to return for a second visit soon. If you're looking for a casual spot to catch up with a friend while enjoying a solid slice, definitely head to Rhody Slice!

Such a cute spot! Pizza by the slice, and the pizza is delicious! They have a nice indoor seating area with TV, and cute decor. Definitely a place I'll return to!

As a pretty big pizza fan, I'm gonna give this place a solid review. We tried the cowgirl and did a pepperoni/hot honey/ricotta pizza. Both were awesome! The crust is fantastic. A perfect mix of crunchy and doughy. The sauce is tasty and the toppings are fresh. We will definitely be back!

This ended up being the last stop for the day of a 5 restaurant pizza quest for the Lord of the Pies event that I had charted out for South County. Wow! Not only was this slice insanely huge, it was downright excellent. I couldn't even finish it but instead had to enlist my companions to each have a bite! I don't get down to Post Road in NK much but if I ever am again, Rhody Slice will definitely receive another visit from me!

So. here's my wicked positive review on Rhody Slice! Now we all know Pizza is one of those things you just can't argue about- because everyone likes what they like and there is no right answer ‍ Rhody Slice decor is beautiful- all the plant propagations really caught me eye first and foremost OF COURSE. The branding is also eye catching- love the It's a small joint and they have counter seating overlooking the parking lot or a couple tables to chow at. Order online or in house- no phone calls! And GOOD FOR THEM!!! I wouldn't wanna talk to you Karen's Ken's and Brads and Chads either. The pepperoni pizza is basic as pizza goes. Thin crust, salty savory sauce and the large round pepperonis. It's like a 6.5 for me on the pizza scale only because I prefer a thicc pizza with more toppings etc. Next time I want to try the eggplant pizza and the hot honey pie. This is a great spot to stop in for the slice or wait for a whole pie (one size only though) if you need it quick on your way... IDC what anyone says it's a perfect little place and with a limited menu and choices there's less room for customer drama. I hope they do super well.

By far the best pizza in North Kingstown. New York style with an excellent crust. I really love the flavor of their sauce as well. Friendly staff every time we pop in. I hope this place is around for years to come!

Best pizza in town, perhaps the whole state. Don't sleep on this place, they deserve all the business we can send them.

I am really sorry to do this ... I truly, truly am ... because I hate to besmirch a locally owned…read morebusiness but the prices here are just absolutely fucking bananas! I get that EG is a pretty expensive town ... and normally I don't mind paying a little extra to support a local business but there are bottles of spirits in here that are $20 higher than other liquor stores for the same thing!!! Literallyz I paid $20 more than Haxton's in Warwick for the same item! That is a sort of extreme case ... but on average expect to pay $10 more for any bottle of liquor ... and $4 - $5 more for any 6 pack of craft beer than any other store in the area. Forget about comparing this place to a Total Wine, you can literally save 40% on most items shopping there vs. here. I honestly don't think I've ever seen prices this high on liquor/wine ... Not in midtown Manhattan. Not in my home of West Hollywood, CA. I won't be totally brutish ... they do have a very nicely curated selection of wines and spirits here. You aren't going to find any allocated items here ... No Weller, No Blanton's, No Pappy, etc. but they have a decent selection of bourbon, spirits and a huge amount of pre-mixed cocktails and mixers. They have craft beer ... local and far away brands ... fancy ciders, saki and other interesting but niche selections of expensive single craft bottles. The store is immaculately clean and organized well. It may be the most expensive liquor store I've ever been in but it's also maybe the most well organized. The staff isn't particularly interested in going out of their way to help you. But, if you ask them a question about wines, etc. they will make some good recommendations if they aren't too busy doing something else. I will end by saying that I was in a rush to buy liquor and wine for a dinner party that my house hosts were having. I wasn't looking too carefully at the receipt because I figured everything was just so expensive, it is what it is. However, when I got home, I found out one of the bottles I bought must have been put in the wrong place. They charged me $84 for a bottle that costs $59 anywhere else. It was next to a sign that said $65. For 8 bottles of liquor and wine and a 4-pack of craft beer, I paid more than I did for my first car in 2005. Not even kidding.

Wow!! A playground for wine lovers. There was so many awesome sections to check out, I didn't even…read moreknow where to look. I spent far too much time wandering around because there was so much to check out. I even picked up a few new to me wine varietals based on staff picks with tasty descriptions. I love a staff pick! I also liked how well marked everything was and it's pretty easy to find what you are looking for (or find something new). I also loved how big their chilled section was. Sometimes you run out of time and need something chilled, here you can actually grab something interesting and not just that status quo options. Employees were friendly and I signed up for their rewards program. Looking forward to heading on in again soon.
