We had a private event in the library room with a prix fixe menu. The room was lovely, we provided our own florals and they provided the tea lights We had a set menu, and dedicated staff for a party of 28. The waiters and chefs were very attentive and accommodating of food allergies and able to make the appropriate swaps to ingredients. The food was delicious. The Main dish was steak, garlic whipped potatoes and Green beans. Steak was perfectly cooked and everyone raved about the beans.

** DISRESPECTS the DISABLED** Five stars for food, zero for empathy! We've been patrons of Rick's Chophouse for over 7 years. The ambiance is stunning. The food is always phenomenal. Whether it's dinner or that glorious Sunday brunch, we can taste the hard work their talented chefs and staff put in every bite. It's the kind of place that makes you feel fancy the moment you walk through the door. But this last visit .. we will not go back. I specifically noted on our reservation that we had a disabled guest and we needed accessible seating. You'd think that would be straightforward, right? Instead, we were escorted past the main dining room, through the bar, and deep into what I can only describe as the "banished-to-the-hotel" section obviously an overflow area. Not so great for our situation. Walk-ins without a reservation were seated closer than us lol It was way too far for our guest to enjoy the buffet. And really, arguing with staff during what should've been a relaxing celebration was not our idea of a peaceful Sunday. The accommodation shouldn't have been overlooked! To make matters worse, we were there for my 60th birthday AND our only Thanksgiving time with our kids. The complimentary birthday dessert was a giant plate with "Happy Birthday" scribbled in chocolate and a scoop of ice cream that tasted like Play-Doh. I wish I were exaggerating. I skipped eating dessert from the buffet because I believed it would be as special as it has been in the past. So disappointed! We've celebrated so many special occasions here and they've always delivered beautifully plated desserts before. Rick's, we'll always love your food but this last visit was embarrassing and a disappointment.

Celebrated a birthday here. I decided to try them out because the reviews seemed to be decent although not as high as I would have liked. I was expecting an upscale experience. The location is nice and since it was around the holidays the location was decorated and comfy. The service was good. The food was subpar and did not really meet the expectation. Considering the price the food should be a bit more generous on the plate. The portions were out of proportion of the price. The New York strip was ok but was not cooked medium it was undercooked. It needed to be cooked a little more because it was not cooked properly. I did mention it and they attempted to fix it. At this point it was overcooked and when I took the rest home to rewarm it was not enjoyable. The shaved bacon brussel sprout portion should have been more than 3 to 4 tablespoons. The baked potatoe was good. The two shrimp that come with the steak was the best part, perfectly cooked, plump, and fresh. This is the reason I gave it 3 stars. I have had some really good steak dinners and this one just did not quite meet the expectation of experience.

Rick's has upscale steakhouse prices without the same quality and experience. We came for an early dinner to sit on the patio. Nice location on the Square. Server was nice and attentive. Salads were good. I ordered filet with crabmeat. Crabmeat was not jumbo lump which is what other steakhouses serve for the same price. My husband ordered his filet medium, same as me. However, his was beyond well done. We let them know before eating it and they just offered a free dessert. The free dessert (Key Lime pie) was the best part of the meal. I would not come back for dinner with so many other great upscale restaurants in the area. But I may give their lunch menu a try and people watch on the patio.

Talk about an expensive but wonderful night out! The food was absolutely delicious and our steaks were cooked perfectly. The only critique I have on the steak is there wasn't a whole lot of flavor. I thought a place like this would salt crust their steaks to bring out the flavor but that was not the case. One star off for the flavor of the steak since this is what they are known for. I can make it better at home. Oh well. Literally everything else we ate (and it was a lot) was spot on perfect. Our server was attentive and amazing. The ambiance was romantic and cozy. I would love to come back here for a date night with the hubby. Four items that stood out that I recommend you try... the creamed spinach, calamari, lobster tail (massive and DO delicious) and the lobster bisque.

It's fine Texan restaurant with good variety of cuisines. Stake house, fine bbq place. Food is fresh and delicious. Not regular Texas portion though . A bit pricy but makes up the quality and atmosphere. It's a quiet, dimmed light formal ambience inside for maybe romantic date night. Indoor and outdoor seating. Better to secure a table by reservation. Service was responsive and quick. Accessible with flat entry and wide routes. Not good for kids for sure. Good for couples, date nights, small groups and gathering.

We came here to celebrate my wife's birthday, and it was a great choice! The restaurant had a very romantic feel, even though it was busy. Everyone was super friendly and made us feel welcome. Our waiter recommended some dishes, and we ordered the Elk and the Buffalo Tenderloin. The Elk was amazing--1000/10! It came with mushrooms and was unlike anything I've ever had. I'd come back just for that. The Buffalo Tenderloin was also good, but not as special. They even gave my wife a complimentary dessert for her birthday, which was really nice. Overall, a great night with great food and service. We'll definitely be back!

This restaurant is near and dear to our hearts as we had our rehearsal dinner here. Now it's an annual staple for either an anniversary, Valentine's, or New Year's Eve dinner. Their steaks are phenomenal of course being a chophouse. I typically get the filet while my husband gets the porterhouse for two with the bone marrow butter. Now I always order their sea bass though! Ricks is always consistent and great quality!

First of all, the service was amazing! Michael was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. We loved talking with him he had so much insight to share and truly made our experience memorable. We ordered the New York Strip, dry-aged for 45 days, and it was absolutely delicious. The portion size was great, and the flavor was incredible. We also tried the filet, which was equally amazing and packed with flavor. We weren't huge fans of the mac and cheese. It wasn't bad, but it didn't stand out and lacked the flavor we were hoping for. The mashed potatoes, however, were very good. For drinks, we ordered three cocktails: the Citrus Serenade, the Auburn Ember Martini, and the Crimson Kiwi Mule. The Citrus Serenade was phenomenal perfect for citrus lovers. The Auburn Ember had a strong alcohol presence but the pumpkin butter in the aftertaste was amazing. The mule was also very good, and you can definitely taste the banana liqueur. Overall, we had a great experience and can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!

Rick's chophouse is kind of like a trap house in that I understand how people could become addicted to it. The elk was exceptional. The buffalo was tremendous. The only thing better was the people. The hospitality at Rick's is unmatched.

We had another anniversary dinner at Rick's. Tradition, because the food is incredible, the wine list extensive, the atmosphere is special, and the service is top notch.

He was very attentive, gave great suggestions, kept us informed of when things would come out and checked on us at every turn while not being overbearing. Our order was exactly how we wanted it and he made sure to make us feel special for our anniversary. The starter bread was delicious and Brian warmed up the butter for us without even asking. The pickles and peppers were a tad too salty. My hubby got the sole and I got the Prime "Côte De Boeuf" Bone-In Ribeye. His sole was delicious. My steak tasted a little funny but I put some of their house made horseradish on it and then it was just ok. We got a complimentary crème brûlée for our anniversary and it was delicious!! I took my leftover steak home and tried a bite without the horseradish and it was terribly bad. Like old, almost rotten bad. I'm from Nebraska so I know my beef and I couldn't even finish it. All in all, we probably won't be back, but I wanted to share what a great server Brian was and how he made the experience so unforgettable.

I love the dimmed lights and homey yet upscale feeling this place gives. We had a really amazing server who offered up some great recommendations as first time customers. She had only been there two weeks, but told us she went through a two week training prior so they know their stuff!! Don't be afraid to ask questions. How I would rate our meal: Drinks: I got the amethyst dream and he got the smoke haus. Presentation of both was really nice, enjoyed both drinks but would probably try something different on our next visit. Appetizer: we got the Caesar salad to share. Loved the croutons and the dressing. It seemed a bit small but possibly for one person it would be enough! Entree: I got the crispy chicken breast, the piece of chicken is huge!! All the flavors of the dish come together so well, it's truly one of my most favorite things I've eaten recently! We also tried a side of mashed potatoes which were good and my fiancé got the red fish which he enjoyed. It is pretty light though, so maybe wouldn't recommend if you're REALLY hungry. Dessert: we got the milk and cookies. I wasn't honestly too impressed. I think I expected them to be warmed and gooey and they were not. However reheating the chocolate chip at home was good! For it being a farm to table restaurant, I found the prices to be very reasonable! I already know what I plan to order on our next visit. Also looking forward to bringing some friends/family to the third floor for drinks and live music!

While waiting for our table we wondered up to the 3rd floor. They had live music. The place was jumping up there. We are going to have to look up who is going to be playing and have another married date night. The only downside to the evening was unfortunately the host at the front door. He was rude and severely lacking in communication skills. If anything else had me "meh" I would have taken stars away but everything else made up for his shortcomings.

One server commented they hadn't worked on a Monday in years and another stated (not from a podium or anything) that it was the busiest she's seen the place in a while. For a party of 6, they kept up with drinks, accommodated the 1 white wine drinker amongst 5 reds, and kept up with cocktails and waters for proper dilution. Foodwise, it was terrific. We had a few appetizers to share, miscellaneous entrees and even dessert. Two diners split two entrees and they brought it out with two smaller portions of risotto and a nicely bifurcated filet. My filet was delicious and although it was a tad over my desired temp, it didn't hit the next level. And that lemon cake for dessert was worth feeling too full afterwards. It wasn't overly pricey considering two bottles of wine, cocktails, appetizers, etc. I'd go back again for the welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and cheaper than the national chains pricing.
