We had a decent meal, and the price is very reasonable. Our server is always attentive. Cute little restaurant in a golf course!

Thankfully. The meal was much better than it began. We arrived and there was no staff to be seen. After 5 minutes we started looking around. Found someone working in the next room at the bar. Approached her and she said when finished with the drinks she'd be coming. Turns out she was the hostess, bar tender and waitress. She didnt have our reservation for 6, but luckiky there was plenty of room. But we had a timeline and were worried. However. She took our order and with the help of a hard working bus boy, we had a good breakfast in a timely manner. The California omelet was great. Also excellent crispy bacon. Good toast and breakfast potatoes. The pancake was a bit heavy but tasty. After the first concerns, a very successful breakfast.

Had a delightful lunch at the RiverRock Grill! Finding a place with ample parking, pleasant outdoor seating, and tasty menu options like the California chicken burger and that tempting brownie sundae dessert can indeed make for a perfect lunch outing. Without many dining options in the area to meet up for a quick bite, It's always a pleasure to discover a local gem.

We love coming here to eat and or have a drink after a golf game. This place is fairly close to us so we use this course as our home course. Or sometimes we just go to have dinner there which we have done a few times! The food is great! I usually order what ever special the chef has as he has a roving special menu. But the Chicken Piccata usually gets me! Or their California chicken sandwich is amazing! It is fun to also sit outside as the peanut gallery and watch the people come down off the 9th hole. The service is great and the staff is really friendly. The food is good as well. It is a nice little place to go to that is local and easy to get to! Kids are welcome here as well. We bring our two year old out to have dinner here and she has a blast! Anything you order on the menu will be good, enjoy!

They have the best clams in the world, hands down! Better than Suncadia or Semiahmoo...so buttery and garlicky! My favorite dish! Service is always great, but blown away by Katie tonight! So friendly, didn't rush us, and just so great at checking in!

The food was very tasty. I especially like their French Dip. The service was good. The creme brulee was delicious.

I came in about 15 to 20 minutes after they opened for breakfast on a Saturday. No one was in there, not oven a server. I waited several minutes and then heard people in the kitchen. I looked through the window on the kitchen door. There were several people running around. A cook saw me and motioned to some a few times that I was out there. Someone finally came out and asked if I wanted to sit at the bar. On Saturday morning? I asked for a window seat, and she seated me. She was returning to take my order, and someone stopped her to ask her questions. I think it was a supervisor. It took her a few minutes to get away to take my order. Again, I am the only customer there. I got a sausage and onion scramble. The eggs were overcooked and rubbery. The onion included skin. It came with red potatoes cut in large pieces fried. The best part was the English muffin with raspberry freezer jam. I didn't eat much. I did take most of it home. I might be able to doctor up the potatoes. I do not think this is a bad place, though I did not have the best experience.

This is one of our favorite dining spots. Feels like a bit of a hidden gem because it's never been busy anytime we've gone (even pre-COVID). They also have a pretty large parking lot and it's usually fairly easy to find parking (unless the golf course is extremely packed). Staff is always attentive and kind. They are all wearing masks and I watched them very thoroughly clean and sanitize each table as parties left. We've loved everything we've tried. This time around we ordered the bacon wrapped prawns which were very tasty but the best part of the dish was actually the kale! It was delicious, not at all bitter and we actually wished there was more kale! We both had steaks for dinner and they were perfectly cooked to our request (medium rare). The mushroom sauce on mine was amazing. My husband's had a garlic butter sauce which he also really enjoyed. If you're looking for a great, moderately priced meal, this restaurant is a great option!

Kale Avocado Caesar Salad w/ Blackened Salmon

I was meeting a friend for lunch who lives in the Maple Valley area, so she suggested River Rock Grill, a restaurant I had never heard of until she mentioned it. It turned out to be a great lunch! Located on a golf course, the restaurant is open to the public and is spacious enough for many parties and gatherings. We were able to sit out on the patio, which looks out to the golf course and fountains. It made for a nice setting. It was also cool to see the golfers pull up and order something from the take-out window, a convenient way to get something quick if you're golfing. The lunch menu featured many standard staples, like sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc. I ordered the kale and avocado caesar salad with blackened salmon, which was delicious! The blackened salmon was perfectly cooked and not at all salty, which sometimes is the case with blackened salmon. Kale was fresh, and was tossed in the caesar dressing, which made it more tender to chew. I enjoyed it. I don't often visit this neck of the woods, but am glad my friend suggested it. For anyone around this part of Renton/Maple Valley, I'd recommend checking out River Rock Grill for a solid meal and friendly service. Or if you need a refresher from golfing.

Cheese ravioli. Sounds plain, but far from it. Drink special was a apple cider mule. Husband approved.

Curiosity eventually won, and I'm glad it did. First off, the place itself is on the smaller side, maybe around 15 tables plus a bar top, but it's well organized and efficient. You're immediately greeted by an employee who asks how many are in your party, and before you know it, you're seated with a menu and water in hand. Smooth operation so far. I went all in and ordered the red velvet waffles (because obviously), paired with a milkshake, and my partner ordered the corned beef hash. The wait time was about 20-25 minutes, which honestly wasn't bad at all considering how full the place was. When the food arrived, it was clear why people keep coming back, the portions are generous and easily shareable. The red velvet waffles were amazing. Rich, fluffy, and absolutely worth the order. The corned beef hash was clearly made from scratch, you could tell the corned beef was hand-cut, along with the potatoes and peppers. No mystery meat here. It's served with crispy hash browns and an egg cooked however you like, which is exactly how it should be. Service was great too, super friendly, genuinely nice, and very on top of things. You can tell this place has been around for a while because the staff all seem to have their rhythm down. There's a groove, and it works. All in all, this is a solid spot for breakfast or lunch, and now I understand why it's always busy. Just one important note: they're closed on Tuesdays, so plan accordingly. Enjoy!

We decided to head over here at 8 am on a Sunday, and there was STILL a line. Thankfully, the wait for us that early morning was only about 15 mins, but upon our walk out after eating, we noticed the line was nearly halfway down the block. Some people must have waited closer to an hour. Maybe show up as early as you can in the morning if you don't want to wait too long. We ordered the Corned Beef Silog, Combo Silog, and the Ube Pancake stack. The stack might look like a little, but even sharing it, we got really full. Those pancakes are DELICIOUS. Just make sure not to run out of the Ube syrup, or the pancakes themselves will be a little dry. We made that mistake, but the pancakes alone were still tasty. Highly recommend if you like taro-ish flavor or want something sweet. The food overall was delicious, it was about my second time trying lumpia and omg sooo good. One of the servers was kind enough to explain to us which part of the Philippines each of the sausages in the combo plate originates from. One was from the Northern part of the Philippines (think it's the Ilocos sausage, reddish color) and the other one was the classic longanisa. I got a calamansi juice and ommmgggg sooo delicious, I had never had it before, and now I've gotta figure out how to buy some to enjoy at home. The servers were all friendly and attentive, and the place itself was clean and inviting, with lots of nods to Filipino culture and the family that runs the restaurant. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good-quality, hearty Filipino breakfast. Depending on what you get, be prepared for a food coma afterward!

I'll be honest--the service felt a bit odd when we first walked in. We were told we could wait a while to get seated at the dinning area or that we could seat ourselves at the bar. Since it was our first time, I wasn't sure if that meant the actual bar counter or tables in the bar area. When I asked for clarification, there was a bit of an awkward pause before someone finally explained we could sit at a table in the bar section. That said, once we got settled, the experience improved. The server who took care of us was very kind and attentive. I ordered my usual go-to at breakfast spots: chicken fried steak with a biscuit. It was really good--definitely hearty and comforting without being overly greasy. That said, it is a heavy meal (fried food plus gravy), so be prepared for a post-brunch nap. The biscuit looked a little underwhelming at first, but it actually tasted great. The overall vibe of the place is very much a local dive bar feel, and the service style matches that. As long as you go in with the right expectations, it makes for an enjoyable, laid-back brunch. Also worth noting--there's a decent amount of parking in the back, which is always a plus. Overall, a solid spot for a casual, no-frills brunch.
