The hubby and I tried this place on a Tuesday night and had such a great experience that we went back the next night for more. Everything we tried had incredible flavor. From the Sake-Rita and Japanese Whiskey Sour to the appetizers and the sushi rolls. The Maine Event is to die for! The portion is plenty to share. The jalapeño poppers have crab inside and they are the best we've ever had. We tried The Experience, VIP, and Groupie Rolls. All of them were delicious. The prices are very reasonable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Louie and Michael took excellent care of us. Scott genuinely cares about providing a unique, high quality experience for all of the customers. What an amazing night. Celebrated my daughter's birthday here because she loves sushi. We couldn't have picked a better place. Nate our server was able to handle our 12 person party dinner with efficiency and attention to detail. He was glad to recommend menu items and was on point in every way. First time trying this place and was pleasantly surprised. Chill atmosphere with lots of TV's playing old rock variations (Led Zeppelin, etc..) It was super clean, smelt clean, and good selection on the menu.my husband had the VIP Roll which he loved, my mom and I had the Shrimp Trio. Fantastic but keep in mind the veggies have mushrooms which was not disclosed and we have allergies. The wontons during happy hour are $5.00 and super fantastic. I'll come here just for the wontons especially at that price!!!! Overall, liked it enough that mom says she will go by herself and we will return. Eh..... this place isn't bad, it is just not that great. Went in today for a few rolls with friends. Most of them tend to have way too much sauce so everything tastes like spicy mayo. For some reason we got 1 roll at a time instead of everything we ordered at once. The service was not that great. The place was pretty empty yet we waited a bit. Just not OVERLY CUSTOMER SERVICE oriented. Not friendly. Lastly I placed a ToGo order. I specifically asked if onion was on the dish. I was told no. My wife opens it at home to find chunks of onion all over the container. $$ wasted. I'd say if you are looking for Sushi in the area check elsewhere. It will be better quality and not cost as much. We were a group of 6 and had a nice long booth for all of us. Great atmosphere with TV's all over the place with great music playing. The server was very nice and was able to split our orders into 3 separate checks, so it was nice. The food was very good. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star was because the spider roll wasn't rolled tight enough, and everything was falling out so hard to hold. The other reason is that one of the orders was missed. The SO and I went on Thursday at 7 and were immediately given a choice of seating at the bar or a table. We chose the bar. The bartender was efficiently mixing many specialty drinks for the other customers while taking good care of us. The food was all delicious and reasonably priced for the portions. The Twisted tuna app was perfectly executed and had great flavor. The VIP roll had plenty of cajun-style crawfish and was seasoned well. The Sweet Home Alabama roll was our favorite, and we will be back for that one again. The rock and roll theme was evident in the entire atmosphere. The owner came to check on us, but that was right before we received two plates that needed a bit of extra quality control on the cleanliness. Food was good, drinks were good, restaurant was very clean but service was not so great. the waitress was taking our order, asked my date if she wanted to split a dish and the waitress just walked away. She came back like 10 minutes later and we called her out on just walking away. Her response was that she didn't want to bother our conversation. Advised we were ordering and not having a conversation and she asked us what we want to order, no addressing her just walking away. This place just opened up this week and it was a great experience! The atmosphere was fun, vibrant- good vibes all around. I can't fully remember both names of the rolls I got (The Axl and something else) but they were delicious! One was shrimp tempura, cream cheese and salmon. The other has sirloin, shrimp tempura, salmon on top and jalapeños with oyster sauce and a mysterious blue one. I had to ask the waitress what the blue sauce was and she stated it was sesame mayo. I thought it was cool! My daughter got a California roll and enjoyed it. My mom got a a shrimp tempura roll. We also ordered the crab cream cheese wontons and edamame. The prices were a little more expensive than a couple of my other favorite spots (my two rolls were $16 each), but the quality was well worth the price. Overall, we'll be back! read more

I've eaten sushi from San Diego to New York to Europe, west coast to east coast and this was embarrassing. Your establishment should be ashamed of themselves, skimpy to say the least. Way better sushi options in the area than this place. Went on Wednesday night. Couple of tables had people, which is good because they only have a couple of tables, this place is TINY! With a limited menu we ordered 4 rolls and sat, and sat and sat (while people who came after us got their food, then it sat in the window for 10 minutes), our server tells me they're out of something so substituted but why wait 20+ minutes to figure this out. We got food and it was just ok. For $100 for 4 rolls and two beers I'd go somewhere else. read more

We waited so long for our food. The family who arrived 20 minutes after us received their food within 10 minutes of being sat. When our food came out the fried food was cold. My cup was dirty there was a thick white residue on the rim as well as green line under the lining of the cup. The waitress said she was going to call the manager who never came to the table. My husband and I were very excited to discover this new establishment on our side of town. We went this evening for an early dinner around 6 PM and we were sat immediately. The restaurant was indeed full but our waitress came over almost immediately and took our drink orders. After approximately 15 minutes, the waitress never came back, although she walked past us several times and even made eye contact, she never returned. Needless to say we did not get our drinks nor did we get any type of acknowledgment. Therefore we ended up leaving. As we walked out the door, we passed the hostess who also did not acknowledge us leaving although our table was directly in front of the bar and clearly visible for the entire staff to see.
