Lovely restaurant in a cute neighborhood. Had some trouble parking on that day but the servers thought it was extra crowded in the area too. The food was delicious and our server was very nice. It was a weeknight so there were only a couple other customers. They didn't rush me and my friend out either when we wanted to just chat for a bit.

Well, I have to say the sushi here was quite good. I had been earlier for their soft opening and enjoyed myself. But, since then I think the food has only gotten better. The menu was very different than when I was there last. It looked like they were clearly paying attention to what their clientele where enjoying most and focus sing on those dishes. I had the sashimi salad first...it's basically a poke salad that was really delicious and tasty in a delightfully healthy way. Unlike many poke salads , the focus was on fresh fish and fresh green (lost of arugula...yum) rather than heavy dressing like tons of spicy mayo. Very nice. The second course was a Golden Spicy Tuna Roll. I don't normally take food photos, but this one deserved it. While definitely not as health as the sashimi salad (being deep-fried and all), it was delicious: crunchy and flavorful. It was actually the one dish that my dining partner both ordered because we knew we didn't want to share. The decor remains minimalist, with exposed brick. cement and wood work. And the wait staff was very pleasant. The only thing I would ding them on is that it took a bit of time to flag down a waiter for our check. But it was was a Friday evening and I'm not a monster. Will definitely return in the future.

Serrano tuna was good, the yuki was more sour than I expected but I can see folks liking it. The spicy tuna was as expected, the Cali roll was actually more avocado than imitation crab so it was fairly creamy. The post meal oranges was a nice touch! Service was very attentive, shout out to Chris C! Went here because it is on inkind and I had a deal. Prices are typical of a sushi spot but I think quality is okay. I usually eat sushi at little Tokyo so not sure how good it is relative to the area. Ambiance is chill, very empty for a weeknight although I went around 8 pm for dinner.

Very nice spot! Good music, good ambiance, friendly staff and fresh sushi! It has the perfect location. You will have to drive around to find parking but it's well worth it. It's pretty spacious but a few of the tables were reserved, so it might be worth it to make a reservation if possible. I happened to get lucky and come on an early Saturday evening when it was not very many people. The staff welcomed everyone in, even as the place gradually increased in patrons as the evening progressed. The music was a nice mix of pop, rock, rap from 90s to today's hits. It was not too loud so you can have a nice conversation without yelling. The sushi was fresh. I tried a variety and cannot pick a favorite. I'd like to try more but my go to is the salmon. The New Zealand Salmon Roll is always a hit. Great spot!

I'm so glad Roji Sushi opened in Los Feliz. I haven't had fish this fresh since I've been to Japan. The service was fast and attentive and the fusion flavors were phenomenal. I can't wait to come back!

Lovely space with a surprisingly fun happy hour menu. The service was excellent, and I'm honestly surprised it wasn't busier. We enjoyed sitting outside, and street parking was easy to find.

This place is a hidden gem. The sushi was fresh, rolls were unique, the service was fantastic, and place was cute and cozy. Went there before a concert at the Greek and it was perfect. Chia recommended the best rolls, and all of them were hits. Crispy rice spicy tuna was fantastic

I've been here a few times since they've opened and love it. It's still in its soft opening phase, but this past week they finally got beer and sake. Woo hoo! Let's get to the food though: Salmon Sashimi - 5 stars. The fish quality is excellent and the presentation was beautiful as well. Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice - 5 Stars. The rice is perfectly crisped and the tuna was delicious, all topped with an avocado mousse. Baked Crab & Avocado Roll - 5 Stars. The sushi chef made this for me and it should really be on the menu cause it was excellent! Crunch Roll - 4 1/2 Stars. Quite filling, this was a fun tempura roll that was complex with a great texture to it. The menu is inventive with tons of options, while still having all your classic items, too. The service is always excellent whether you're at the sushi bar or a table, and the ambiance is minimal and chic. Definitely adding this to my rotation of favorite sushi spots in the neighborhood.

We stumbled across this place while walking around Los Feliz and it was a great hidden gem! Really attentive staff with great recommendations. They also had gluten free options for our friend with allergy restrictions. The location is spacious with plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. They even gave us a little orange dessert to try on our way out. Add this to your list of lowkey sushi spots!

Second visit! Loving this place from Chris excellent service, and sharing his recommendations, to the music, and the freshness of every menu item, leaves you breathless! Everything is delicious and their oysters are now my favorite item!

    Softshell Crab

We were back for our second visit! Chris provided us amazing service, the staff were friendly, food was yummy, and the ambiance was great per usual! The softshell crab was very creamy and delicious, and my personal favorite was the pucker face roll! We also tried their new wagyu A5 surf and turf roll based on Chris's recommendation, and that was quite tasty!

And it doesn't leave me wanting more. The presentation looks great for pictures but don't be fool. The food and drink is mediocre. Cheap alcohol was used that burns when swallowed, some drinks I couldn't finish it because it doesn't taste great. It was so hot and stuffy inside (when it's still April and cold outside). The ac should be turned on for air flow since it's such a small hole in the wall bar style sitting with very low ceiling. Hardly any room to walk when there's ppl sitting down on the stool. So the stuffiness and being hot made the experience even more unpleasant. On top of all that, the lady behind the counter was touching everything including the food with her bare hands. Not once did I see her wash it between preparing, servings and cleaning the counter. Plus, napkins wasn't given when needed. When asked, she handed one tiny thin small square napkin per person ‍. Sanitation and cleanliness for the food isn't all there for the $100 mandatory tips per person is ridiculous to me. Tips shouldn't be mandatory anywhere. Plus, even with the time of our reservation. The host, John, emailed us to change our time to a later schedule.. like from 6pm to 9pm. Are you kidding me? If we wanted that time slot then we would have picked it instead of making reservation at 6pm on a Thursday night. Overall, it's just a one time experience that doesn't make me go wow.. I wouldn't want to come back because the food and drinks pairing doesn't go well together. I had better.

Outdoor patio seating is great, and reminds of eating outdoors in a European cafe. Indoor seating is a little cramped if you're at one of the tables, which also sort of mimics European cafes. My one small knock on this restaurant is the service has been inconsistent. Couple times our waiter was great, but a couple times it was hard to flag them down, they didn't space out the dishes very well as the appetizers and entrees all came out the same time, or they forgot to bring water when we asked for it. Small things to complain about overall though.

The only slight downside is its location right next to the train tracks , when a train passes, it creates quite a bit of noise, but it didn't ruin the lively vibe of our dinner. The Food The fusion Mediterranean menu has plenty of great options, and we definitely stuffed ourselves: House-Made Pita Bread: An absolute must-order. It comes out warm, fluffy, and fresh--we loved it so much we ended up eating five orders. Paired perfectly with the dips and cherry tomato spread. Whole Dorade: A major highlight of the table. Perfectly cooked fish served in a rich, savory cherry tomato sauce. Beef Shish Kabob: Incredibly tender, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. Grilled Octopus: Flavors and presentation were nice, though the texture was a bit tough and over-charred/grilled on our visit. Service & Final Thoughts The service was warm, attentive, and kept everything moving smoothly all night. Aside from the train noise and the slightly overdone octopus, everything else hit the spot. Great food, great company, and we'll definitely be back for the fish and pita bread!
