This pizza joint is a standard stop here in Penn Station after seeing a game at the Garden for a slice and drink before getting on a train home. Different varieties of pizza to choose from. Decent beer selection too. Good to see it back after the station renovations were completed. Be aware that you're going to pay :tourist rates" here like if you're at an airport though!

Overall, an ok slice that is in a convenient location of Penn Station. The overall ratio of cheese to sauce to dough was good. However, the sauce didn't have too much flavor and the pepperonis were nothing to write home about. It's not bad if you're hungry in a pinch.

Best beer in this area that I know off. 32 ounces of cold heaven.

I've been coming here for so many years. This place is a true Penn Station icon. Always packed by the entrance because of the beer. I stop here to have a cold drafted beer before I get on the subway, and an occasional slice. They actually have 32 ounce cups, what I call the big boys. (They have smaller cups/portions as well). It's not a bar or beer house by any means. It's a pizza joint. As for the pizza, the sauce is a little sugary, but not bad, and their prices aren't bad either. Beer 5/5. Pizza 3/5.

Rose Pizza is an old school type of pizza place in the renovated Penn Station. Is it the absolute best pizza in NYC no. However, it is solid and consistent and you have a wide variety of choices. It's clean brightly lit and if you find yourself in Penn Station late at night you can't go wrong stopping here for a bite to eat. (or quick bite to eat anytime of the day) I went with a sausage Pepperoni slice and it hit the spot.

I love the pizza here! They always have a large selection of different kinds of pizzas/toppings to choose from. The staff are kind and the ambiance gives that authentic New York City vibe with the retro 1970s disco music!

Rose Pizza is a great go to, and never disappoints. You will be delighted with the variety that is displayed before you. Also, you can be assured that it will always taste freshly made. Turnover is quick, so pizza pies are being put out fast. The hardest decision will be what kinda slice to have! Service here is efficient and they will heat up whichever slice you choose. There's ample seating too, if you're looking to have your slice right out of the oven. Or, if you're in a hurry you can always enjoy it on the go!

First time customer!!! Quick day trip to NY and before heading back home I had to get my first slice of NY pizza. Whewwwww baby this did not disappoint, it was hit, fresh, crust was cooked to perfection. Service was good Not really much of an ambiance as it's inside of Penn station. No parking!!!

Hot temped with a crispy crust very delicious, the buffalo was me and my partners favorite. It was very flavorful , The spicy pepperoni slice didn't appeal to me so much , it tasted like a school pizza unfortunately. And the last slice , the margarita was sweet and delicious . The service was regular nothing the rave over , ambience was nice and spacious

Great pizza! The crust is delectable. So glad the restaurants are finally open in the Moynihan train station. I New York!

Great old school pizza open again in Penn Station! Cleaned up and shiny, great tap beer selection. And for me the best Margarita slice in the city! I'll be back and back!

Rose Pizza is back at Penn, baby, and bustling! Located on the lower level (Long Island Railroad) concourse of Penn Station, the newly renovated Rose can be found in the same space as it was before (middle of the concourse), but is more spacious with ample seating along one side and in the back. It's busy but with a long row of pies and swift workers behind the counter, the line moves fast and they'll have you in & out in no time, especially during rush hour. The hot and crispy pizza will satisfy your craving for a NYC slice. At $4.99 for most slices with toppings, the price is competitive for the station. They also offer a respectable and sizeable selection of beers - both on tap and in cans. Open late til 3:45am daily so late-night revelers rejoice.

Taken at roses, so must be posted. LGR !

This location was super busy and there was a line outside the door, even at midnight on a Thursday. However, the line did move quickly inside. There are not any chairs inside, just bar tables to stand around, although there did seem to be a small table with a few chairs outside. Some of the bar tables had shakers with extra chili flakes or parmesan. The pizza slice gets put into their oven to be warmed to the crisp (if it has been left out for a while), so I would say that the service was excellent for that consideration. My friends and I shared a slice of the Supreme. It was SO good! I had heard this was an overrated spot, but the taste of the onions and sausage on a thin and crispy crust was fantastic. It was pretty large in size and could be shared with others. I would definitely come back to try their other pizza slices. Very solid spot to me.

Iconically known as the workplace of Peter Parker in the original Spider-Man movie, I knew it was mandatory to pay a visit during a very Spider-Man focused weekend. Now I'm sure there are cheaper slices available elsewhere - these range about $5-6 per slice, but they're really delicious. I'm a big fan of the thin crust and simple yet yummy toppings. We went 2 times during our trip - first ordering 2 pepperoni and later a Caprese, White, and Supreme. They were all great, but my favorite was the classic pepperoni. If you're going with a group of more than 2 people and don't all mind getting the same flavor, I recommend waiting in line next door - which is where they sell by the pie only. Both lines move relatively quickly, but some times are definitely more popular than others (weekend nights). You can honestly expect minimal eating space because there's so many people trying to be in there, but we got lucky and were able to eat at one of the countertops on the side. They also have additional seasonings available such as parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, and chili flakes. Definitely willing to come back next time I'm near Times Square!

Best gluten-free pizza I have ever had. [Full Stop]…read more I've had a lot of GF pizza. I've tried to come here in the past -- but it didn't work out. I ordered via Uber Eats this time, and MAN -- I was blown away. I honestly thought that they had screwed up and sent me a gluten version. I checked the order and receipt. It was so good -- the crust so chewy with bite -- but light and airy and tight -- the cheese and toppings all great and fresh and delicious. It tasted like an awesome piece of NYC pizza. I was so happy. I did some Claude sleuthing -- and think I'm onto their magic with the crust -- and am excitedly going to experiment in my home kitchen in the coming weeks (Neapolitan oven, be damned!).

Located at 309 West 50th Street in New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, the casual eatery has an extensive list of pizzas. Don Antonio has over 30 types of Neapolitan pizzas, and the menu is a little bit daunting at first due to so many options, but even the pickiest eater will find something they'll want to eat. RIGHT BY THE DOOR. Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
