Called to re spring my dirt bike. Seemed very annoyed with going over what kind of springs they can get me. Goes from saying he can get a lot of stuff to well it depends on what's available and does not know what he can get me. Wanted me to just drop my bike off knowing I don't live close by. He clearly showed me that he did not want to go over anything with me. This shop isn't customer friendly. So if you are someone that has questions and wants to go over what they recommend or what they can get, don't even bother. They hate working with you and don't care about making sure you are happy with what they recommend and what they can get. A lot of dirt bike shops are like this so if anyone recommends friendly shops with better customer service please let me know. These guys are too busy to talk to you. They want you to just drop your bike off and let them do what they want to your bike. Once I started sensing how annoyed he was that I wanted to know what kind of springs he can get me and what he recommends for my type of riding and riding weight, he hung up on me. read more

These guys are POC! Could have fixed this problem myself but just didn't have the time to help my bro before a big weekend... to get my bros motorcycle fixed before going out of town so we screwed up and put our trust in these guys. When calling around for who would have the best services, Not only did they say they would have it done before then, but these guys ended up keeping my bros bike for a few months after making up excuses and saying they don't do Nibbi carbs so the original carb and intake got dropped off; and then out of nowhere we get a call saying the bike is "ready for pick up" and it's in the SAME EXACT condition as when It was dropped it off! Can you believe that?! These guys didn't even touch the bike! Dirt still in the carb, Nibbi still on there and they all of a sudden lost the very unique intake we dropped off with the OG CARB and they said it wasn't there. Scammed us for the bros hard earned money, didn't even touch the bike, and even STOLE parts from the bike!!!! Beyond deliberately wicked scammer activities going on here! Holding the bike hostage making us pay a gang of money for not even touching it?!?! I know GOD will Handle it but I absolutely had to at least leave a review! It's not right I don't want to see anybody else get screwed over like that! read more

We just bought a 2019 Husqvarna dirtbike from this place. The guy said they went through everything and it is good to go. We took the bike out for the first time, and after the first trip burned a bunch of oil and is missing bolts when you try to call no answer don't recommend. read more

I'm not a big fan of leaving bad reviews so I'm not gonna mark this is one star but the service I got from RP racing this time around could definitely have warranted it. I've taken a few small things to them in the past and never had problems but recently I took my Grom to get a clutch installed And I did supply aftermarket clutch parts and I just wanted them to install it now fast forward less than a week after picking up my bike and my clutch plates are completely burned. I brought it back so that they could check it out and they told me that the clutch was not adjusted correctly. The bike had no more than 200 miles on the new clutch when it burned out so that led me to believe that it was installed incorrectly I cannot say that for sure so it definitely could have been my own issue. I think my biggest complaint with RP racing is how they dealt with it I told them that I wanted it done right and let me know how much it was gonna be if I had to pay anything else now I was willing to pay for parts and hopefully have a labor covered or partial labor covered but about a week and a half after I drop the bike off AGAIN they called me and told me it was ready to pick up the first time they had called me they told me how much it was and so I brought the money with me this time they just told me to pick it up so naturally I assumed it was gonna be covered or mostly covered no it was somehow like $80 more and they never told me that until I came to pick my bike up. All in all I will not be taking my bike back to RP racing I will find someone else it is unfortunate though because I do like supporting the east county small businesses. read more

I used to take my bikes to RP Racing over 20 years ago. Recently I purchased a little KLX110 for my son and it needed a lot of work. I took the bike in and Bob had I running like a champ in no time. Asked if they could do my bike before Friday (brought it in Monday) they said yes and the things I requested were quoted at (less than $200) called Thursday evening and asked how it was going and what time I could grab it and meet with a bad attitude. "I said it would be done tomorrow didn't I?" Ok what TIME so I can arrange my day I'm busy trying to get on the road. Called at 415 saying it's ready I already assumed it wouldn't be so I didn't plan on loading or bring it I wasn't going to wait around and waste time waiting on a possible time.came to grab the bike following week and told it would be $300 now. Asking why he just said that's what it cost. I never got a call telling me it was going to be more, or it needed any extras (which it didn't need any more work i was told less than 200$ now it's $300 and bad attitude AND my bike still starts as bad and as hard as it did when I brought it in. SORRY not bring my bike here anymore or recommending any friends here. read more

I found Rp on Google and then I searched them on Yelp. Bob was by far stand up honest business man. Did not attempt to over - sell any unnecessary service / parts. Thorough and professional. This shop is worst for jet ski repair in SD County. They are liars and sub out all jet ski work. Should have known when 15 miles away from water and there wasn't one jet ski in there shop.Then he had me call the mechanic at a different number and different location. Then came the bait and switch . Said needed carburetor tune up without starting? Then billed me $600 and said had low compression and needed another $900 of work. Couldn't you have a least started the skis and do the compression check first since they were 20 years old? Owner is not friendly, not professional was very hostile , and foul mouthed . Make sure he at least starts and listens to your machine before he starts throwing out prices. Motorcycle shops don't have to follow same laws as Auto Mechanics aren't governed by bureau of Auto Repair. Tried to rob me for storage in small claims and got denied. Judge suspected he was using my trailer cause said it was not with the Skis. Good Luck !! read more

These guys are awesome!!! Took my paddle tire to Motoworld for a tube and tire mount they told me they wouldn't be able to get to me till the end of day. Bought my 2006 YZ 250 from Bob in August still have not received my title for the bike. This is horrible customer service, every time I contact him he says he forgot. And the fork seal was leaking and the top end went out after 2 rides. I'm still waiting on my title Bob??????? read more

TWO WHEELS UP AND RUNNING (5 stars)…read more Mobile service to the rescue! I've called around and this one seemed the best and most responsive. There are simple jobs to be done for easy money but finding people willing to do it is the challenge! I am lucky Dridox provided mobile service and came to my home to take of services I need... call service ($75) battery replacement ($65 + $29 for battery) and oil change ($85) , maybe tank flush if it didn't start up after the battery replacement. This is what I get for letting my two wheels sit idle in the garage during the winter months collecting dust. I reached out, got a quote, and scheduled the service with Adriano. I had intentions to do this all myself but didn't have all the tools and would like to see it done first before taking a hand at it... also eager to ride and want these services done ASAP! Adriano arrived early/on time, charged my battery and tested it (def needed a new one), replaced my battery, hooked up my charger device (recently bought it and didn't know it's needed for maintenance), it started so I didn't need a tank flush, but went ahead with an oil change since I was overdue. I did tell Adriano I been nearby g to do this on my own so he did show me how-to and what tools and what to look for or be careful of, which I super appreciate his professionalism and expertise. My little two wheels was probably a cake walk to what he is use to servicing. Within the hour all was done. If bigger jobs need to be done such as engine rebuild - they do that too and can rack your two wheels to their shop. The business accepts credit cards, Venmo, and Zelle. The motorcycle shop that usually serviced my two-wheels for years stopped providing service and only to Surrons going forward... they gain some but lost a lot of the only tailor to only a specific kind. My choices were 1) Do the services myself 2) Tow it to Fun Bike Center and get it serviced 3) Fine a mobile service to do it. With the impatience of not riding and budget considered, mobile service was best especially when watching and learning to (maybe) do it in the future yourself. For any future assistance with my two wheel maintenance, I'll be giving them a call. I highly recommend their services.

I drove up that Saturday picked up the both bikes with my son. really good experience Today I was at a different dealership looking at a Polaris Pro R 4 seater the guy I was dealing with was a former employee. He told me the shop had closed and that the shop I was currently in attempted to buy them out. Shockingly, No Deal could have been reached.

I call in again and give Manufacturer/model/year for a plastic fairing bolt. These ARE NOT MANUFACTURER OR MODEL SPECIFIC! Dude says yeah we got them in. Same old BS but now gas is $6/ gallon so the trip cost me $20. I get there and Dipshit McGee says the guy I talked to is out on a break for a few hours, he doesn't have the part and doesn't know how to order it. So in these dumb MFers think I'm supposed to hang out in the parking lot for a couple hours until someone that knows their ass from a hole in the ground comes back? I was looking for a plastic push bolt for a 2017 Yamaha tenere. Yah know where I found one? My wrecked 2004 Suzuki gsxr. These plugs are universal and parts store moron said he doesn't know what it is? This place pays for the youngest, dumbest folks they can find. Really sad. Imagine going to Home Depot with a 3 inch screw and the guy asks who you talked to that said they're in stock?! That's how dumb these guys are. Amazingly stupid and useless.

I needed a front fork seal rebuild on my bike. I'd gone by a big local place up in Kearny Mesa (won't name) and dude was dismissive, like 'ah yeah a couple hours to pull the forks, a couple hours to rebuild...but we're a month out to get you in'. Acted like he didn't want my business and wouldn't even provide a number 'uh yeah like $130/hour times 4 hours, and yeah parts too'. Gel haired, flat brimmed, frosted tip 50 year old goofball. SD moto did a 24 hour turnaround. Yep, actually less than 24 hours. They preemptively got the parts (he paid for them) dropped bike off Friday, picked up Saturday. Beyond happy. I have a valve clearance coming up in a few thousand miles and I'll coming here. Also he's from Bulgaria , not Russia. Good guy! Edit Bulgaria NOT Belarus haha. Sorry!

I then came across SD moto repair & found brother constantine. He is a 1 man worker but he does work at a fair price, & does it a good time frame & i have been taking my ZX10R to him for some years now for oil changes, tire changes, brake & master cylinder work, front & rear sprocket & chain replacement etcc.. he was even able to find me a replacement fairing for my Zx10R which are hard to find now because of my bikes age & he helped me today (9/13/25) properly fit a green rear seat cowl on my ZX10R that I bought on Ebay that is seen in this photo. I would reccomend him to any rider that needs their cycle serviced for fair pricing, good work & good turn around time. He also doesn't tell his customers "your cycle is too old" as the motozone mechanic told me years ago.

I explained 3 different times & what I needed 200 hr service & chase bar. I finally sent my assistant to pick it up & take it directly to another business where it got handled in 2 days. It was supposed to be ready by my birthday. If there was an apology or some business 101 remorse (let me see what we can do) I N would have left it. None. I have many patients & friends that will no longer be using their service. Sad. I won't lower my customer service bar.

Toyota of El Cajon is, without question, the best I've ever experienced, even long after the contract ink has dried. There was an issue with a less-common extended coverage that didn't go as expected. Jose, my service advisor, did everything he could to get it resolved. When he hit a wall, Laura B. got involved. Laura is what some businesses refer to as "a fixer". She relayed what she was doing and who was involved. The list was not a short one. When things were ironed out, she was able to obtain results that kept the dealership and Toyota in good standing by acting in good faith and resolved the warranted coverage to my satisfaction. I will continue to support both Toyota and Toyota of El Cajon!

We needed to get the bike towed to North County they set us up with some guy I consider a clown with poor reviews they set it up I paid for it and that he didn't zip up the saddlebags and damaged the rear fender. I reached out to the dealership and got nothing but the run around from the salesman. I even sent a letter to the owner Glenn Bagge who didn't even bother to contact me. He just pawned it off on the tow company he used. He didn't even have the courtesy of helping with a solution. If I owed him money he would have been right on it. This goes to show you how he feels about customers once he has the money in hand is my take on him. Please note we never took the bike it went straight from the dealership to North County. I have all communication texts and letter to and from Indian of El Cajon and the tow company and video as well if anyone would like it posted.
