If you're looking for a new brunch place, look no further. Ruperts at the Edge has been getting some great press lately, so with that, my bestie and I decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed :) Ruperts has a great set up of booth, bar, table, and patio seating. They have cute little witty sayings strewn about their walls, so those are fun to find and read. Prepare yourself for a little bit of a wait if you go for brunch on the weekend. This just means Ruperts is worth the wait. Check the bar seats though, as those are first come, first serve and they serve the entire menu there as well. We lucked out and two spots were open for us so we did not have to wait for a table. The bartender who was also our server was very nice and gave some excellent recommendations. Rupert's classic reuben was a great suggestion. Add sweet potato fries, and you'll be in heaven! We also could not pass up the cinnamon roll that was so elegantly advertised in front of us! When in Sloan's Lake, Ruperts will be my choice of restaurants. As with most brunch places, Ruperts opens early in the morning - at 7am and closes early at 2:30pm.

Boy, this place reminded me how much I just love a breakfast spot. We really enjoyed eating here and will definitely be back. I had the classic breakfast plate, with perfect scrambled eggs, yummy potato cakes (they were like a cross between a hash brown and a mashed potato, heavy on the green onion flavor and so delicious), good buttered sourdough toast, and turkey bacon. My husband had their classic burger; he added cheddar cheese and jalapeno bacon, and we both had oat milk cappuccinos. The coffee was good. Everything we had really hit the spot and was exactly what we wanted. We did have about a 25 minute wait on a busy, gorgeous Sunday afternoon. We opted to sit inside to be seated quicker, since most people were waiting to be seated out on the patio overlooking Sloan's Lake. Such a great spot! But the inside was totally fine too; I liked the basic, diner vibe of the place.

Tidbit! Order the mimosa bottle. At $18.50, it was six glasses for the table and one of the better deals you'll find at a Denver brunch spot. Also, call ahead and put your name on the waitlist before you even park. There's a lot, plus street parking throughout the neighborhood. And who knows, you may want to walk given the serious portion sizes. We were so stuffed with our main dishes that we could only get through two of the three pancakes in the gluten-free apple cinnamon pancakes; the overstuffed belly was worth it. The other delight was the chicken fried steak, which was perfectly fried. Our only complaint would be about the biscuits; ask for extra gravy on the side, and that's not going to be a problem. If you have picky eaters by the way, the frittata is customizable, so no excuses! And again, put your name on the waitlist. The patio looks straight out onto Sloan's Lake, so the dining room hums with a packed Saturday energy. The staff leans into the occasion: two servers in brunch-themed shirts, our waiter in a Tito's polo, and a hostess whose low-slung jeans sent me straight back to high school. It all adds up to a place that's homey and happy you showed up.

Had been wanting to try Ruperts at the Edge for a while after hearing all the buzz. Went on a Saturday, and it was busy, as expected. We were told the wait would be around 20-25 minutes. Bar seating is first-come, first-served, so we lucked out when two spots opened up minutes after we arrived. After we settled in, our friendly bartender brought us menus and asked if it was our first time at Ruperts. When we shared it was, we asked what some of her menu favorites were to help us narrow down our choices from the breakfast/lunch menu. They make their own corned beef, so I went with Rupert's Classic Reuben with fries. I asked for the 1000 Island on the side (to dip my fries!) Because Ruperts uses Gruyère cheese instead of Swiss, the sandwich was already creamy and packed with flavor. Tempted by the framed ad for their giant cinnamon roll, my bestie & I split half a roll for dessert and took the other half home. Ruperts was a fun place to people-watch and to look at the "Wall of Toasters" that adorned one side of the restaurant--an ode to the food they serve daily from 7-2pm on weekdays, 2:30pm S/S.

A very quick stop for breakfast on a rainy Tuesday before we headed into Denver. Super easy to get a table and the service was wonderful. Parking was limited as it's a rather small lot out front. The flash and eggs were perfect and I love that ask you the desired crispness of your bacon to be cooked. It came out perfectly well done. Prices are very reasonable compared to some other spots.

5 stars! Sat at the bar and had super quick service. Weird note - loved watching the bartenders - very clean and loved that they had separate coffee pitchers for all of the milk alternatives when making lattes. I had the corned beef hash - it was so good with real corned beef and the potatoes had the best mouth feel - perfectly cooked eggs. Came with a side of pancakes (or other options) and they were soooo addictive (chocolate chip) My friend had the breakfast sandwich on a gluten free English muffin and loved it! So nice to have gluten friendly options. The mimosa was the perfect ratio of 98% wine and 2% OJ! I got an iced latte and he made my very specific order perfectly :)

Torn between three and four, but I'm going to give them a four because the very first time I came in here a few years back they blew me away. I haven't enjoyed it as much in recent years, but it is still pretty good. Prices keep going up, but that is true no matter where you go. Service here tends to be fast. In the summer, when the weather is nice, and you can get a patio seat, watching the rising sun, that is a thing of beauty indeed.

Found Rupert's on Yelp and BringFido app. Came for Sunday breakfast - beautiful weather, sat on the patio. Place was fairly full, which is always a good sign. Staff immediately brought water out for my pup, and were very attentive and friendly to her. Ordered a scramble, pancake and potato cake - all very good, tasty, etc. Pancakes were a bit cool, but not a major deal. Good coffee as well. Would definitely come back... nice experience all around. I have driven past this place a bunch of times and now I can finally say I've been in! It's a great spot to get brunch with a girlfriend and yap away. Our server was incredibly friendly. The iced coffee was delicious. I got the granola bowl with a chocolate chip pancake, it was great! I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

The wait was very long, but we had a large party. Most everything was good. Honestly, all of it is good, except one thing. The potatoes. Are they hash browns? Are they mashed potatoes? Everyone at the table was commenting on them. They are also over seasoned with some chive flavor. They appear as if they are supposed to be a sort of hash brown patty type thing, but they were mushy, and I don't know anyone who wants chive flavored mashed potatoes for breakfast. This matters a lot to me as good hash browns are a big part of breakfast and they are not hard. I think they are overthinking the breakfast potato. If they had a normal hash brown option that was anything other than these odd mashed potato cake things, then it would have been five stars. the lox benedict was fantastic. My sister really enjoyed the gluten free options. My sons only complaint on the bacon and eggs were the potatoes. The patio and view are nice. Parking was tight.

Wooo! First review for the year and it's going to be about some yummy brunch. Came across this place randomly through Yelp and overall, it's an excellent place if you're craving for some delicious brunchie food! Highlights of my visit: Parking: There is a lot around the place, in front and in the back! Wait Time: None ~ came here roughly around 11:45am ish on a Friday morning and got lucky with an open table. Ruperts was surprisingly full for a Friday morning! Food: Tried the following items: 1. Banana Nut Bread French Toast: Love the light and crispy texture of the toast! It's not too dense or heavy but could use a teeny bit more sweetness. 2. Corn Beef Hash: 10/10 - delicious dish! I love how the potato mix was done with the beef and left me craving for more for the savoriness and such 3. Southwest Benedict: Can't go wrong with this! Absolutely a fan of the chile sauce that came on the side and the pulled pork was juicy and tender. Yummmms! 4. Vibe of the place was definitely a mix of diner feel and coziness. Would swing by here again for brunch if I'm in the area!

Cute patio with great service and even better breakfast/brunch! Love this spot on a beautiful day in Denver. I got the breakfast burrito last time and it was HUGE and delicious. We also got the cinnamon roll to-go which was also HUGE and only $5 that day ($6 normally). Even heated up the next day it was 10/10! They also have a great weekly specials menu (see pic attached). Love!

OHHHH MYY GAWDDD I'm in love Made some reservations here with coworkers since it was going to be a beautiful weekend. They don't take reservations , you have to get put on the list and just wait. BUT totally worth the wait!! Plus , you can enjoy the beautiful view of Sloan's Lake while you wait. Also they are SUPER dog friend, I had my doggo with me and they kept giving him treats and water the whole time! So we finally got sat, service was a bit slow but we got mimosas to start. Amazingly priced mimosas! $4.50 for one and 16$ for the bottle. For food I got the lox benedict. The food came pretty quickly ....and oh my god it was amazing! The eggs were perfectly poached , runny in the middle. English muffin was toasted perfectly , veggies were cooked perfectly and everything was seasoned perfectly. It also comes with a side of potato cakes that were yummy! Props to the cook!! I actually ended up coming here the next day with more friends and got the veggie benedict with grits. Once again everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. For the price you get an amazing about of food. You will leave feeling full and happy and probably want to stay here for 4 hours ordering more bottles of mimosas. I will surely be back! We picked this place because it was close and the reviews were great. An absolute hit!! One of the best breakfast places around. Our server was new and was incredible. The spicy Bloody Mary was quite spicy. The Irish coffee is one that you want to have multiples of. I had the southwest Benedict, oh my!!! Home run- the corn fritters as the base??!! Get outta here! My husband was like "wait, what is that?!!". He has the special, duck breast Benedict was ok. We have an annual event in this area and you better believe we'll be back. But this place is worth going put of your way for! read more

Located across from the lake; we came on Saturday 10am ish and it was packed. Make sure you call ahead to get on the wait list to avoid waiting. Service is pretty slow, you can tell they are busy. Think our server came by once for drinks, once for water, and once to bring the check. Food wise, portions are fair for the price point. We got a chicken fried steak and southwest Benedict. Chicken fried steak was alright; I wasn't sure if they made it fresh or if it was a frozen one. Eggs were over easy and the dish was fine. The Benedict was a little salty and expected some more flavor. Basically this is a Snooze AM equivalent. I'm not a big brunch guy but judging from the crowd, it's one of the better options in the area read more

Whenever I go to Denver, the first place I think of for my favorite travel pastime (brunch) is Snooze. I was really excited to impress my husband with Snooze when we went to Denver on a daytrip mid-week. As should be expected, Snooze had, even on a COVID Tuesday morning, a sizeable wait (though at least they expanded significantly in the last few years to meet their demand!). So just for kicks, I brought out trusty ol' Yelp, which served up a huge list of highly rated brunch options even nearer by. Given its proximity, we decided to give Ruperts a try. Holy smackerals, I'm glad we did. From Kayla's introduction, to her serving up the check, our experience was fabulous. Banana bread french toast... it tastes exactly the way it SHOULD taste. hominahomina. Sweet potato hash... an extraordinarily tasty, lower-guilt substitute for a bennie when I see banana bread french toast in my future. The husband's biscuits and gravy... as I recall he remarked something along the lines of "Best EVER!" ... And with those hashed brown potato cakes, which were a divine mix of crisp and salt. And, boy oh boy, grapefruit Mimosas by the bottle?? You kiddin me now? That's it. I'm about to leave Albuquerque for these bubblier pastures. Thanks Kayla! Spectacular service. Rupert's at-the-edge-of-a-parking-lot-for-a-strip-center-next-to-a-very-loudly-trafficked-street-100 yards-from-Sloan's Lake. Doesn't really have the same ring to it as the actual name, but much, much more accurate. The combination of morning sun and light reflecting off the lake must be what brat on a grill feels. Probably great November-March for most. The rest of the year, you'd better like a tan Rupert really cannot do much about the awful atmosphere. But they could do more about the Ho-hum average food. Dull presentation of Signature Classic Benedict arrived with boring hash browns. No garnish. Yawn....Ditto for Biscuit and gravy. Passable, but not worth second degree burns! Sam the waitress from SA was the one outstanding interesting element during my October visit, a yearlong devotee of Halloween! Friendly and cool! read more

Service was excellent, drinks were on point and food was basic but yummy. The breakfast sandwich is very simple - cheese could have been melted more and it was lacking some flavor. With some extra salt, pepper and Tabasco though it really was tasty! Breakfast burrito was good and large. Porch is dog friendly and it has a great view of Sloan's Lake. read more

This place is fantastic! They don't do reservations, but you can call in an hour in advance to be placed on their waitlist which I highly recommend over the weekend. Everything on the menu sounded delicious with their own unique twist to each plate. I boldly chose to try the Southwest Benedict. The green chili cornbread base was brilliant, the slow roasted pulled pork didn't have an overwhelming taste, and the green chili hollandaise sauce was the perfect cherry on top I've tried this before at a different brunch restaurant and I did not like it at all but THIS plate was filled with delicious flavor! I couldn't decide between getting a savory dish or something like French toast, so along with the Benedict, I also ordered a side of apple cinnamon pancakes (gluten free) and that completely satisfied my sweet tooth and the side portion is perfect. read more

There was a wait but was totally worth it! Cute indoor decor and they were socially distancing which was a relief. Brunch is my absolute favorite so my hunny and I went had the biscuits And gravy came with eggs and potato cakes I added sausage to complete my meal and omg it was delish!! $16 for the mimosa kit which was not bad at all! Totally had fun day drinking!! read more

Great casual brunch spot with lots of stable breakfast items. I got the lox Benedict - the lox were super fresh and eggs were perfectly cooked. The employees were beyond friendly and gave us tons of good recommendations. Food came out quickly. The only thing that was lacking was that the ambiance seemed a little cold and sterile. I wonder if adding some plants or decor might warm it up a bit while maintaining a modern look that they're going for. read more

Have been a delighted repeat customer at Rupert's for a few years now. On this day, we ordered via delivery. For the most part, I could rely on the quality of the food and professional preparation - regardless of dine-in or takeout. Not this time!! Absolutely highly disappointed and slightly disgusted, as I sit over the just delivered, photographed salad. Not only does the meat look and smell GROSS, but the 'rest' of the ingredients are shameful as well. Realize prices and all have gone up. They've gone up for the restaurant and for customer as well. So, I paid a bit over $15 for this salad - and I'm shocked. At the whole thing - not just those meat cubes. Thought at first that we'd be able to eat it and just not enjoy it. Now, as I've been in front in it for a few moments, I think not. Embarrassing. I visit this restaurant with family regularly, and we've even proudly brought our out-of-town guests here. There's a waitlist but we got in earlier than expected. Very friendly staff! Fast service! I had the white toffee coffee which was delicious and the truffle scramble also excellent. The potato cakes were yum as well as the biscuits with salty butter. Overall great experience. It is very loud in here. read more

I've had a few bites of some leftover key lime pie french toast from here and was impressed by the flavor, as it was perfectly balanced with key lime. This time around, my partner surprised me with delivery of brunch and wooooow. The banana nut french toast with strawberries and (candied?) walnuts was AMAZING. If you get nothing else, get that. It was presented especially well even for delivery! I can't remember what others they have but you probably can't go wrong with any of the french toast options! Along with that, we got Huevos Rancheros, which came with two perfectly cooked over-easy eggs, slices of avocado, super saucy and thick "salsa", black beans, thick piece of potato hash.. all covered in a little hot sauce, and a few small tortillas on the side. Great way to end a weekend in Denver! We came here on a busy Sunday morning but the wait was only 20-30 minutes but they seat us after only 15 minutes. The wait staff was quick and friendly. First time here, busy Saturday morning. Waited only 10 minutes or so for a table outside on the patio. We had the best server, Jaime. She was so attentive, happy and checked on us throughout our breakfast. We split the Breakfast Burrito with pulled pork, and a side of the Hash which comes with hollandaise sauce on the side. The burrito is smothered with green Chile, which happens to have a nice heat to it. Nothing too intense at all, for me it had the perfect heat. We came here on Mother's Day and had a wonderful experience. I called to see if they did call ahead seating and they did which was awesome because you can check your status online. The wait was quoted at 1.5 hours but really took 1 hour which is to be expected on a busy restaurant holiday. I had the biscuits and gravy (of course) and that was really good. I'm on a quest to find the best biscuits and gravy in the area. (Don't know where has the best yet.) My table also got bacon, the vegan French toast, steak and eggs, and kids chocolate chip pancake. I really like that they have a vegan French toast since that is super rare. The bacon was crispy and delicious. The kids pancake was cute in the shape of a bear. This is a sad review to write. Although we have had Rupert's as one of our regular spots for many years, it would seem they have lost their way. Went for breakfast on a Tuesday morning with family, pleasant staff as usual and most the food was good. However, I ordered eggs Benedict, and it was shocking. Because I was there with family members that don't complain, I held my tongue and ate it. Look, the problem was something that strikes me as beyond a one plate issue. The "poached" eggs were NOT poached eggs. These were either microwaved or the new supplier for Rupert's is selling them Mac Donald's Mcmuffin eggs.. these eggs were perfectly round, flat and hard.. imagine an egg McMuffin and you'll get it. History

Established in 2014.

We, Susan and Tim, purchased this location in March 2014. Previously it had been called Breakfast on the Edge by the prior owner. We immediately began improving the food and décor and then put the new name above the door. Our restaurant is named after a late great uncle of Susan's. Warm and friendly, Rupert was a bit of character and he loved good food. We want our guests to feel as comfortable here as Susan did with her Uncle Rupert.

Meet the Business Owner: Tim N.

Both the children of restaurant owners, we grew up in the business. Tim started off as a dishwasher in his parents' Italian restaurants in Denver while Susan cashiered for her father's Taco John's franchised restaurants in the Twin Cities, Minn. Tim later went on to manage Golden Corral restaurants while Susan once owned three coffee shops. We met in South Dakota and for a year owned the first food truck in the Black Hills. We moved to the metro Denver in 2012 to fulfill a dream of having their own restaurant.

Typically I'm used to a jammy soft boiled egg but those can be hard to make right and take more time to peel the shells. I do think the poached egg was tasty but an easy way out for a ramen shop. Def shocked that they were quite good in a strip mall, but I might have judged the book cover. Wished they had some cold beer or hot sake to go with the karaage for sure, I would never leave.

This morning I visit Rupert for the first time I sat outside in the balcony. I started watching the menu and the first thing I watch my favorite breakfast steak and eggs and this beautiful waitress ask me if I was ready and I told yes I am so I ask for the steak and eggs but for my suprised it didn't last not even more than 10 minutes and there it was my steak and eggs with white toast and potatoes oh my God the potatoes was so damn good. Now don't get me wrong the whole breakfast was delicious but those potatoes were awesome. I give it a 10 and the waitress was so good at her job I give her 10 too great service and her name is Brandi Perry people ask for her she is f awesome. read more

Been there a few times and had something different each time. The name of the dish is what I remember, not what it was called on the menu. 1st time- pork green chili Benedict - not bad. Green chili needs more season. Fritter was ok. I'd rather have something that crumbles more. Soaking up that chili sauce. 2nd time- plain burger. Fries were delicious. Burger tasted like cinnamon at times? Maybe French toast? 3rd time- chicken friend steak. This is the hang over cure!!!! Its like having biscuits and gravy with a big piece of chicken friend steak. This diner had a typical yet charming ambiance. The waitstaff exhibited great friendliness. Although the food took a bit more time than expected, it turned out to be quite enjoyable. The mimosas they served were of decent quality. As for the banana nut French toast, it was undeniably delightful. If I were to voice a single complaint, it would be regarding their practice of using the same knife for both strawberries and onions, which proved to be quite bothersome. read more

This spot is a must! I have been coming to Ruperts at the Edge for a month, and it's always a great experience. The staff is so nice! The server is so warm and welcoming each time I dine here. The restaurant is always so busy, but the food comes out quickly and hot! Some must-eats are chicken and waffles, French toast, and their Benedict. Great spot to have brunch with your friends! Rupert's is easily the best brunch spot in town. The food is amazing, they have wonderful rotating specials, amazing service from some of the best waitresses I've ever met, and the best location with a perfect view of Sloan's lake. No matter when you come, you have Natasha, Sam, Monica and the rest of the staff there to make your time here the best it could be. If you're looking for a spot to brunch, go to Ruperts and never leave. We definitely haven't. read more

This place is AMAZING. We have breaksfast there at least once a week. The staff is super friendly always greeting us and asking how we're doing. The food is delicious, I've tried almost everything on the menu and it's all top notch. We get there very early in the morning to beat the brunch crowd, sometimes you can wait up to 40 minutes for a table during peak hours. Can't recommend this place enough. read more

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! We were seated promptly, and our waitress was incredibly friendly. I ordered the Truffle Scramble with bacon, and it was absolutely delicious. The addition of a potato cake and pancakes made it even better. My boyfriend tried the Lox Benedict and really enjoyed it. Highly recommend this place for a great meal! read more

Honestly one of the best brunch experiences ever! Great selection and unlimited mimosas! Natasha, our server, was wonderful. We rode a motorcycle in and the team offered to store our gear for us. Also, the host remembered my husband's name and thanked him as we left. The prices were very fair! Amazing food. Amazing service. We will definitely be back!!! read more

Food tasted great, I'm only giving 2 stars because the menu said it was a 4 egg omelette and there is no way. Every place I get a 3 egg omelette I have left overs this was a 2 egg omelette so false advertising. I am surprised no one has brought this up unless I just happened to get the last 2 eggs in the place. read more

I have 5 kids. So, going out is rare for us. It's very difficult. But on this occasion, it was smooth sailing. Our waitress was the best, she took care of us to a T. She didn't seem bothered by the rowdiness and made sure that everything came out to perfection. We will be coming back to see her all the time! read more
