Street tacos? Farthest thing from it. Single tortilla, pork flavorless, cheese nasty. Salsa flavorless

Blueberry pomegranate margarita

Taco Tuesday! Chose this place bc they have non meat options and margaritas, yum. Next to the register on the wall is their "secret menu" which had fried jalapenos that I had to try. I ordered the fried Baja shrimp (#8), fried fish (#7), and veggie tacos (#6), as well as their seasonal blueberry pomegranate margarita on the rocks. It took a little more time for my food to be ready than it did my sister. When they called my name I went to the counter, got my food and one of each of their salsas. Fried jalapenos were good and came with a spicy sauce. I don't recommend dipping the jalapenos in it, it can't be a spicy overload. My favorite taco was the veggie taco, super flavorful. I wasn't a big fan of the fried fish, it lacked a lil flavor. The Baja shrimp was good as well, but could've used a little more Baja sauce. I was impressed with the margarita although the frozen margarita tasted a little stronger than the margarita on the rocks I recommend trying them out.

For my first Taco experience in Dallas, these were just ok. We got the Fried Chicken Taco, The Texican Taco, The fish taco and BBQ Brisket nachos. The nachos were good. Who doesn't like brisket and cheese on chips? They were a little dry, and so was the chicken in the chicken taco. The Texican is terrible. Don't get it. Coming from Florida, I thought TexMex was a complete different thing, its not. And I prefer taco bell crunch tacos over these. But i also don't like Del Taco so to each its own. My fiance said the fish taco was good, but a tad bit over cooked. So for our first "Dallas" tacos, it was just ok.

Margarita x

Chilangos Tacos (Dallas) is a local taco joint in North Texas that has now become one of my…read morefavorite taco joints in all of DFW. There are multiple locations in DFW, and this review is for the Chilangos in Dallas off of Ross. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The two Chilangos locations I've been to are both located in strip malls with a bright, neon "Chilangos Tacos" sign above the entrance. Inside, there's reggaeton music, tons of patrons, and ESL here. Once you place your order, grab a Jarritos, a bright red metal seat, and watch the staff cook your tacos to order. 1 Star. Service - The staff are very friendly and efficient. It really helps if you speak Spanish, so go with someone who does, or point to the menu item you want. Once you place your order, grab a seat and wait for your name to be called. The staff is super nice and efficient, and our order was available in about 5 min. 1 Star. Food - Birria Quesatacos with consume. Memorize it and order it. Kudos to my son who swears by this dish. I am now a believer. The tender seasoned shredded birria beef is so flavorful. The quesataco style melts the cheese into the corn tortilla. And when you take some diced onion and cilantro to top it, dunk it in the consume before biting into the most flavorful taco served in DFW. According to the menu, this dish is only available on the weekend, but I've used food deliver services to get my consume fix during the week so YMMV. Bottom line, it's not just the best item on the menu, it's the best taco bite in all of DFW. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Chilango Tacos is expanding in DFW. There are now multiple locations in all of DFW so there should be a location near you. Chilangos Tacos is now in my weekly rotation. 1 Star.

The place is Insanely loud, you can't even hear your thoughts let alone the person you came to eat with. If they have a drive through, I would definitely be back, the food takes FOREVERRRR Hard pass

It's a trendy, energetic pocket of Dallas that I had somehow never explored before, and it immediately caught my attention. The restaurant itself is quite unassuming. If I'm being honest, it didn't exactly scream "come on in." On this particular night, there was only one employee working. It took nearly 10 minutes just to place my order and another 15 minutes before the food arrived. By that point, I was more than a little annoyed. Then the tacos showed up. Talk about a complete plot twist. Not only was everything beautifully presented, but the flavors were absolutely unbelievable. Whenever I visit a taco spot, I like to order a variety so I can get a sense of what they're really capable of. This time it was the al pastor, carne asada, and Baja tacos. One word....incredible. I can't tell you which one was best! I've had great tacos before. I've had places nail one or two selections. But I honestly can't remember the last time three completely different tacos all delivered a perfect punch in a single sitting. Every bite was packed with flavor, expertly balanced, and memorable in its own way. Without question, this was the best taco trio I've ever had. What a roller coaster of a visit. I went from feeling completely ignored and wondering if I'd made a mistake, to wanting to walk back into the kitchen and hug the chef. Sometimes great food doesn't just redeem an experience--it completely rewrites it. The Taco stand is GOATED
