My siblings introduced me to Sake about a month ago, and we have been there almost every Friday night since. I think it would be an understatement to say we are addicted to Sake. First off, who doesn't like an all you can eat sushi restaurant? If you are one of these people, then we can't be friends. There are quite a few good all you can eat sushi in Japanese restaurants in Sacramento, but in my current experience Sake has been the best. Let's start with the food quality. Each dish is made to order so it hasn't been sitting around a buffet table exposed to the elements. We have tried almost every item on the menu, including hibachi, nigiri, rolls, sashimi, rice, noodles and a plethora of appetizers. Our favorites have been the smoked salmon nigiri, seared pepper tuna and salmon carpaccio, hamachi, and salmon, kama, grilled short ribs, shrimp fried rice, and agedashi tofu. I could go on and on, but you have to experience for yourself to truly appreciate the quality of their food. Next, let's talk about service. It doesn't matter what time we come whether it's early brunch or it's the middle of the dinner rush on Friday the service has always been exceptional. The staff are attentive and accommodating. We never have to wait for anything. Our drinks are refilled throughout our meal. Empty plates are bussed very quickly. Lastly, let's talk about the price. Unlike other restaurants where they have different tiers, Sake is all inclusive in one price. You can order what you want without wondering if it's included.

The absolute freshest and most amazing salmon sashimi I've ever had, ESPECIALLY for an AYCE! The rolls are alright, but my bias is that I always aim for the raw fishes in sushi places. Again, for AYCE, the salmon was amazing. The owner (Sophia) was really really nice as well, and the servers were also quite friendly. Came with a party of 11 at ~7:30 PM on a Saturday and we got seated very very quickly. Only critique is that it felt like with large orders of mixed sashimi, nigiri, etc, even if our server got it right, what we received wasn't right. No biggie though: it's an AYCE!

An assortment of random sashimi I ordered, really beautifully presented

The food here is delicious, especially if you enjoy sashimi and nigiri! It's very reasonably priced and the staff is very friendly and attentive. It's clean, cool, and is excellent for both big and small parties! We will be back!

I wanted to follow up on my previous review of this sushi spot and add some pictures. Since my review my boyfriend and I have gone back multiple times. The food is always fresh and so delicious, the service is truly great, if you're looking for AYCE sushi this spot is a top recommendation! Love love love!!

Love Sake! It's our go-to AYCEs. We've been here four times in the last three months. We wanted to switch it up from All You Can Eat Korean BBQ to something lighter and Sake fits the bill. They have a great selection of fishes for sashimi which you don't see often at AYCEs. The rolls and fish to rice ratios are pretty good and they have great selections of appetizer and hot items.

My boyfriend and I came for the first time tonight after searching up a few AYCE sushi places. Both of us were so pleasantly surprised!! Our waitress was on top of service. Any time we were ready to order food and drinks she was there! I believe her name was Jocelyn :) The food was really good. Our appetizers were particularly flavorful with the jalapeños and edamame being our favorite. The rolls are good too... we had six rolls between the both of us. The size of the rolls is smaller which makes it easier to eat and try different things. The nigiri was super good. I was so impressed every time they brought a new piece out! The green tea ice cream is delicious and was a perfect dessert choice to end out the night. The dining area has nice lighting and they played nice ambient music the whole time. For being such a great place they weren't too busy on a Sunday night. My boyfriend and I had already decided by the end of the meal that we would definitely be returning here!

I honestly wasn't expecting AYCE sushi to be this good--but Sake AYCE Sushi completely overdelivered. The quality and freshness of the fish were impressive. Service was top-notch; the servers worked seamlessly as a team and were always helping one another, which really stood out. The hot food came out hot and fast, which is a huge plus. I've never seen AYCE offer add-ons like amaebi and uni, and both were excellent quality--not the cheap stuff. Yes, it's a little extra, but absolutely worth it for true sushi-grade amaebi and uni on the side. I only wish they offered raw oysters. Other than that, this is an incredible value for AYCE sushi. I also love that they have a Yelp waitlist option--super convenient. I'll definitely be back for more.

    Ivy Q.

For AYCE sushi at $35 per person, the price is okay. It's reasonable, but I don't think it's super worth it unless you really focus on ordering lots of nigiri and sashimi for a few rounds. The menu also includes special rolls, maki and hand rolls, appetizers, hibachi, salads, and stir fry. The appetizers were pretty basic and nothing really stood out. I skipped the stir fry rice and noodles altogether. I did try some shrimp from the hibachi and it was fine, nothing special, but it had decent flavor. Also includes ice cream. I had green tea flavor. Looks like it's pre scooped and melted while it was being prepped, then stuck back into the freezer to serve later... The hand rolls were very different from what I'm used to. They're more like mini tacos. I didn't mind the switch-up, but the filling falls out easily when you take a bite. I also had the miso soup and it was bland and lacked flavor. I definitely made the most of the nigiri and sashimi, and the fish quality was decent. The seared salmon was my favorite. I loved the smoky flavor. The employees were all super nice and worked fast and efficiently. Service was straightforward and smooth. There's no limit on how much you can order each round, so pacing yourself is key. It was also nice watching the sushi chefs in action. The restaurant had a very chill vibe and made for a relaxing dinner. It was busy but manageable, with no crazy rush or long wait. There's a big parking lot and lots of nearby shopping too, which is perfect for walking off the meal afterward. I'd go again for a cheap eats sushi.

Came here on a Saturday evening for AYCE sushi ($35.99) and wow - this place absolutely delivered. From the first round to the very last bite of mochi, everything hit exactly the way you hope an AYCE spot will. The sushi was super fresh, not rushed or sloppy, and the hot items like the deep-fried jalapeños and tempura came out perfectly crispy and hot every time. No sad, lukewarm plates here. And don't sleep on dessert - ending the meal with unlimited mochi was the perfect finale. Freezing cold, creamy, and refreshing after all that sushi. What really sets this place apart is how efficient and well-run it is. Orders are placed on upgraded tablets, which makes it easy to pace yourself and not miss anything. The manager was an absolute riot - high energy, on top of everything, and kept the whole place moving like a well-oiled machine. The support staff deserves major props too: plates cleared quickly, drinks always topped off, and no awkward waiting around. Fair warning: this place gets busy, and for good reason, so plan accordingly and expect a wait during peak times. I've tried plenty of AYCE sushi spots and while many are good, this one is next-level greatness. I was honestly a little skeptical before arriving, but I'm so glad I was proven wrong. I'll 100% be back. Thank you, Sake Sushi team - keep doing what you're doing!

I have already came back twice. The food is pretty on point for an ayce place and I love that you can get sashimi and nigiri without unlocking another menu tier price. Service is quick and the people are nice. Their fish taste fresh and the presentation is still pretty solid and they put love into it. Restaurant has large booths and tables to combine for big parties but it's a little too dark in here for nice lighting for my food pic. Haha not a biggy.

    Rochelle S.

Holiday shopping is tiring but glad we found Sake! This is an all you can eat spot on the weekends and if you're tired and hungry, this place is a great place to eat!! They have their own parking but you can also park on the shopping center side. Service folks are attentive and quick!! Food is good and price is affordable. For an all you can eat spot, I would go here all the time if it was closer!

    Jenny Y.

This place is decent for the price. I didn't try the sushi, but my husband and nephew liked it. The fish look fresh and the cuts were big. The cream cheese wontons were great lol! Chicken wings are good too. We were getting our orders pretty fast but as soon as it got busy, it took a while to get our orders of course. I'd come back soon...especially for the cream cheese wontons lol.

Finally a nice sushi place a hop and skip away from my neighborhood!!!…read more We've come here plenty of times and each time has been great. The fish is extremely fresh and every selection is really good! My kiddos love their rolls and Bento boxes, and I love their pepperfin, albacore on fire, large sashimi mix, and their agadashi tofu! We come here pretty often being it's so close to home! We enjoy the service, the ambiance, and everything in between!

Come noon, and checking my ETA to Los Angeles already pushed back to 21:00 PM, I decided to drive my rig in town to get something to eat before making that 10 hour drive down south. And I settled for Wabune Sushi in the Raleys Grocery Store plaza. So onto the review: I ordered a ton of food, and even wrote everything down on paper for the newbie server. Hamachi Kama: felt it wasnt Krispy or charred enough. 3.5/5 Volcano Mushrooms: wasn't what I was expecting, it was just a bunch of shrooms, battered up with some cream cheese 2.5/5 **would skip ordering this Douglas Roll: wasn't anything worth remembering, as in typing this an hour 1/2 later, I cannot recall what was in the Douglas Roll besides red sauce and spicy tuna, shrimp tempura....so it must have been a mediocre roll 3/5 Chirashi Bowl: was ok, sashimi was fresh, but nothing along the levels of Sushi Gen in Little Tokyo Los Angeles 4/5 Uni: I want to allege after finishing both Uni Nigiri that this wasn't the freshest, because of the complex after taste, it was somewhat bitter with a fishy aftertaste and the coloring was a bit dark. If you ever go to a Mitsuwas or Marukai or Nijiya and look for that shining glistening gold packaged air-imprted Uni...yeah. You'll know what I mean. Totally different. 3 2.5/5 Amaebi: Corral Sweet Shrimp Raw Nigiri: probably the only shining star or the 4/5 *Although I suggest next time removing the heads of the shrimp and steeping them with Miso soup for an additional layer of presentation, it would give the Miso soup more Umami And what else am I missing.....yes the Oysters at Market Price ($16.00) Ok aside from the fact the restaurant operators couldn't really name where the oysters were from...I'm assuming it's frozen oysters...I wanted to give this starter a higher score, but Everytime I slurp, I get fragments of the Oyster shells in my mouth, and honestly, I find the oysters that you can get at Wholefoods market Alot of times better quality and taste (being better quality oysters are sweeter and have less of that Seafood aftertaste. So unfortunately I have to give this order a 2.5/5 even though I finished it because the ponzu and chilli sauces they used really masked the natural tastes of the oyster. Mochi Green Tea Ice Cream: Skip. This is just supermarket mochi ice cream, you can pick up better at Sprouts or Wholefoods. 3/5

The tempura is perfectly crispy, but the rice was a little brittle and got dried really fast. The texture was more like Vietnamese broken rice, and it caught me off guard because when I tried their sushi a while ago, they used very high-quality rice. As is typical with sukiyaki, the broth becomes very flavorful at the end, absorbing all the flavors from high-quality ingredients, but my udon got a little dry while waiting. Since I tried both set, the wagyu sukiyaki broth became a little too sweet at the end. My favorite is definitely the seafood sukiyaki broth. Would I try these pricy sukiyaki again? Probably not. Would I go back to Azayaka again? 100%. This would not discourage me from going back there any amount.

The albacore on top was stiff and overcooked, the sauce was excessive, and the shrimp tempura inside was soggy. When we walked in we were immediately greeted and seated by a very sweet young lady named Violet who ended up also being our server. The inside was clean, with a wall of TVs that formed one large screen, lights on the walls, and they had pink heart balloons all throughout for the holiday. We had already picked the items we were interested in beforehand, and Violet let us immediately order. We got the Hamachi Kama, the Shrimp Daddy, The Northen Lights Wrap, 2 small bowls of miso soup, the BBQ Albacore, the House Wife Special Roll and the Philly Cheesesteak Roll. EVERYTHING tasted SUPER FRESH and incredibly delicious! We HIGHLY recommend the Shrimp Daddy and the Northern Lights Wrap, but honestly you can't go wrong with any of the items we selected. Violet was VERY professional, personable, and tentative and took great care of us. The other server, Gayane, was also very sweet and came over and gave my wife a miniature chocolate cake (made by a local bakery called Heavenly Pasteries) as a Mother's Day treat. Then at one point, Chef Maguro walked around and checked in with every customer and stopped at our table for a chat. Maguro was such an incredibly cool and talented guy. He told us he's been a sushi chef for about 28 years, and it shows. He's also responsible for all the delicious looking pictures on their website and in the restaurant. Not totally sure if Chef Maguro made ALL of our food, so we need to also shout out Chef Henry as well. This place is excellent! The food was super tasty, and the people working there really sold the experience. Thank you for being a wonderful server, Violet! Someone give this woman a raise!
