Came to this restaurant looking to try a new breakfast spot out and this place did not disappoint. The service was friendly. It was a very clean and quiet place. The food came out quickly and it was hot and delicious. Will definitely return highly recommend this place such a nice place for breakfast.

Came in to try a different place. It's a cute 50's style dinner. Totally dig the car prints on the booth seats. We noticed a handful of regulars. Food was good and good selection. I got corned beef (from the can) I think it's the best lol extra crispy. We enjoyed it and probably come back.

Had a really good breakfast this morning. My favorite here is the Cinnamon Roll French Toast Combo. My over medium eggs were perfectly cooked. The cinnamon roll French was also really good and a beautiful golden brown. It took a while to get my first coffee refill but after that, my cup was kept full. I would definitely return next time I'm in the Upland area. I have eaten several times at the Calimesa location but the food at this location is much better and more consistent.

I am glad to finally have tried Sammy's Cafe. I'm always getting groceries or gas in this shopping center and see it and decided to try it for breakfast with my husband a couple weeks ago. The outside is decorated with fun cars and then we walked inside and it's a lot bigger than we thought. Definite diner vibes and lots of regulars, I think we were the youngest ones there. We were greeted and seated right away. My husband and I both did a breakfast and he got a half waffle and I got French toast as my add on. I think their prices changed recently from comparing previous menus so it was a little more pricier than we were expecting. The food was good, but I felt like something was missing. I really liked my French toast, but the strawberry was a little too much for me. I think I would stick with the breakfast and not have an add on next time because it was a lot of food. We liked it here and would come again due to the convenient location and kind service. I would like to try more of their food options the next time we stop in.

As i was on my way back to LA I saw this business was conveniently off the 10 Fwy And decided to stop by for a quick coffee break. Strong wifi and cold AC inside is what you can expect inside. They had music playing but very low volume. Good for people who wanna WFH. I also didn't have trouble finding parking. Additionally, their prices are reasonable and appropriate. However, I do wish their location were a bit bigger, as it can become quite crowded during rush hours while people wait for their orders. I always find myself at Mestiza at least once a week! My drink go-tos are the Spanish Latte and their unique Bees & Flowers Latte, depending on my mood. As for pastries (which are ALL delicious), I always walk out with either the strawberry Nutella croissant, the strawberry croissant, or an Alfajor! Whatever you get, you'll 100% enjoy it!!

The matcha itself has a strong, authentic taste that holds its own while still pairing nicely with the sweetness of the strawberry. The space is just as impressive as the drinks. It has a soft pink aesthetic that feels intentional and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of seating available for working or relaxing. It's the kind of café that makes you want to stay awhile, whether you're on your laptop or catching up with a friend. They also offer free WiFi, which makes it even more practical for longer stays. What really stood out, though, was the service. In a time when many aesthetically pleasing coffee shops tend to fall short on hospitality, this place does the opposite. I was greeted with a warm, genuine smile upon entering, and the staff went above and beyond by bringing my matcha and musubi directly to my table. Small gesture, big impact. Friendly, attentive, and consistent service from start to finish. Overall, this is a spot that delivers on both vibe and substance. I'll definitely be coming back.

It's tradition for my daughters and I to go out to breakfast on Mother's Day prior to going to church. We got here about 5 minutes after they opened and there was already a line inside! Very popular place! The line moved quickly and we placed our order at the register. They call your name when your order is ready and my daughters were kind enough to go pickup everything. The owner brought over cookies for the moms, and brought out cups of iced water for those who needed them. Great hospitality and service! I was tempted to get the Ube pancakes, but I had been eyeing the lilikoi French toast all week, so I went with that and a cappuccino. Also got a side of bacon and eggs.
