This is in the food court in Great Mall in Milpitas. I got a chicken bowl with rice and noodles and it was very tasty. It was very filling. I got the soy sauce chicken and it was good. I would eat here again.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaan I hate giving out bad reviews but I thought about it and I just couldn't do 3 stars. Like it's one thing to be mid but to be not good and also pricey that's just a killer. Tacos(soy sauce chicken) [$15, $23 Uber eats, $12 after Uber eats bogo]: the flavor was ok. Prob would have been better off the tortillas were crispy instead of soggy. That may or may not have been due to take out... I'll never know. But honestly it was just ok. Lot of protein but kind felt like it was missing something maybe it needs an avocado. Tacos(beef bulgogi): same issues as the other tacos but the beef bulgogi tasted better imo maybe from the sauce. Ddeoboki: Alright here's where it really gets bad...I think I kinda understand the concept... Is like a fried ddeoboki and the sauce is like more of a fusion sauce that you kinda find on sushi rolls. Lol I felt like it could have used more sauce which is ironic given the name of the restaurant. It tasted dry and kinda chewy but not in a good way...chewy like old and dry. Wasn't good at all Overall, I dunno if it was a bad day or cause I ordered at the end of the day at like 7pm so it's all leftover food but ya everything just was kinda cold/old. I feel like they have a good concept but I feel like they gotta keep the quality control better. At these prices tho it'll be awhile before I come back

With all these chains at the Great Mall food court, I wanted something different. I like Korean food and was intrigued by this Korean street food place. Placed an order on their kiosk. And they just gave a time to come back in a text. So I walked away to find a seat. The place is pretty packed on a weekend. We had to circle around a bit but found a place. I went back in about 10 minutes - they had given me an ETA of 15 minutes. I saw what looked like my bowl sitting there so I asked the worker and she handed over my food. I walked back to my table and then I finally got my text that my food was ready 5 minutes later. Not sure why there was such a delay. If it's ready - just text me. I prefer my food hot and not just sitting there. Anyways I got a bowl with bulgogi. The bulgogi was $2 extra. They had a variety of other proteins, like chicken, pork, tofu, and veggies. You can pick the base for the bowl also. I got half rice and half salad. They also put a small layer of japchae/glass noodles also. Also tasted some kimchi in there too. However I was not a fan of the bulgogi. It was dry and very salty. I was not a fan. I could not eat it all in one sitting. I actually had it the next days and added way more rice and veggies to spread out the saltiness. I would not recommend the bulgogi and I'm sad I had to pay extra for it. I may try their other proteins but what I did have was meh.

Absolutely delicious! We went on the day they were celebrating their 1-year anniversary, so we ended up getting a free plate of their tteokbokki. Service was quick even with the long line, but there's even a self order kiosk if anyone needed one We ordered the Saucy Asian and their Burrito bowl - their bulgogi beef and the shrimp were all delicious. The Burrito bowl didn't have too many jalepeños but the tteokbokki was enough to bring enough heat. We can't wait to go again to try other items on their menu!

Recently opened at the foot court inside Great Mall. This store offered a selection of fusion Asian bowls, burritos, poke bowls, tacos and more. We got the signature saucy Asian bowl with chicken and a saucy Asian poke bowl with salmon. Both bowls came with flavorful and creamy sauce that was slightly sweet. The chicken was tender. We chose mixed veggie and rice as the base, which gave us a balanced amount of veggies and carbs. The store was located at the foot court, so sitting was shared with other stores there. It was a convenient spot for a quick lunch when shopping at Great Mall.

Friendly staff and quick service! After an afternoon stroll and shopping spree, I passed through the food court on the hunt for some vegan food. I hadn't seen this restaurant before and did not want food from a typical chain. I then saw tofu on their menu and ordered their Saucy Asian bowl. It was very filling and tasty! If it were served on a plate I might have thought I was in a nice Asian-fusion restaurant. I would definitely come back for more.

Saucy Asian bowl we got with japchae, the pork was a little salty but went well with the salad and japchae. 4/5 Saucy Asian fries were not good. The fries tasted like they were days old, very hard and unpleasant even though the topping was nice. 2/5

Had a great time eating at this restaurant! It's a new location that opened up recently in great mall. They serve Korean Mexican fusion dishes from burritos with Korean meat and bibimbap. It's a hot new restaurant that's popular. It took about 10 minutes for our order to come in and we sat down at the food court to eat. It was a fair price for $15 per item. The burrito was very filling, with my choice of meat as soy garlic chicken. The avocado cream was delicious and refreshing. I was happy with my selection and i hope this restaurant thrives! Can't wait to see this place again!

The photos of poke bowls for this restaurant were so enticing, so I made plans to try them the next time I was at this mall. I really loved how affordable the food was here. For a poke bowl that leaves you full, anything less than $20 is a steal. I ordered their Island Poke (combo, rice and greens, and fish combo, salmon and tuna). The fish was fresh and we were also given an ample amount. The rice was cooked amazingly, and I was also met with the surprise of fried wonton strips that actually added a nice crunchy texture and flavor to the bowl. The sauces were creamy and enhanced the flavors of the ingredients. There was a little bit more of sauce than I would have liked (can't eat too much fat), but I was able to look past that. The wait times for ordering and arrival of the food were not long. Affordability, ingredient quality, speed, and quantity made me leave as a satisfied foodie with the intent to return.

It was my 2nd time going here when I went a few weeks ago. I really loved all the food that we got. We got the island poke and kimchi fried rice. The rice was flavorful and the sauce in the poke was so good! The portions were really good since it's nice to have leftovers. They were very nice and friendly. They didn't see our order had gone through right away when we ordered online so they gave us a free drink while waiting. The wait wasn't even that bad, but they were super nice and felt bad. I'll definitely be going back again since they always had good customer service for the both times I've been there. read more

Been to both the one here in the Great Mall at Milpitas as well as the newer one in Emeryville. If you are interested in a quick and filling lunch, this is an adequate place to go. The saucy asian bowl seems to be their main special and it comes with a meat, with a choice of rice/japchae/salad or a combo of all of them. This is probably the best thing here, with their spicy mayo sauce that they drizzle on essentially every item on the menu. This with garlic chicken was really good. Have also tried the spicy pork burrito but both the pork and rice in the burrito made it not as good as the textures were too mushy for me. Potstickers are normal and nothing to write home about. Was able to recently use an Uber Eats 30% off every item deal that they were offering to get a discounted kimchi fried rice (great but only with a poached egg as the additional proteins were reall expensive. i.e. $6 extra for bulgogi) and the Tteokbokki (surprisingly really yummy drizzled with that mayo and the rice cakes were slightly charred giving it a nice texture and umami to it). read more

Really not bad. They have updated the menu since I last walked by a month ago. Good conversational staffs. You can order at kiosk or try scanning the QR code online. Small space, but good taco truck quality style. Saucy Asian foods are good in taste and quality here which exceeds my expectations for food court selections at the Great Mall. They have other locations up north, but this was my first time trying this newly opened spot. Choose from poke salad bowls, Korean foods, wraps/burritos, rice bowls, appetizers, etc. Good menu selections with lots of delicious foods to choose from. No long lines on weekdays during opening hour yet. I had the $14.99 Spicy Poke Salmon & Tuna Salad bowl. It was made to perfect/excellent in taste. Cucumbers were finely sliced and chopped with the purple cabbage. It had plenty of salad greens in mine topped with tasty spicy mayonnaise sauce. Delicious. I would come back for poke bowls because it's good quality here. $8.99 Soy Garlic Fried Chicken side dish was also very good in flavors, but these are smaller chicken pieces with smaller bones. Everything tastes as good as it looks. I wish prices would come down $1-$2 each, but not bad for food court choices. Foods are good restaurant style quality. It didn't take long to grab my order over the counter. Front counter staff was professional, helpful, and friendly. I would be revisiting to try their quesadillas and wraps next time. Overall, it's a great addition if you want something different inside the food court. Poke is excellent. read more

we were at the mall and noticed this restaurant had finally opened. we ordered the saucy asian bowl with chicken and the bibimbap with shrimp and tofu. it was sunday so they were a bit busy, but the food came out within 15 minutes. you order on a screen, so not too much staff interaction. the food was really good and "saucy," so the name is fitting. i will say we paid extra for the noodles since we didn't want rice and veggies on one, and we were still served veggies. the noodles were also all the way at the bottom, and the bowls are a little small, so it was hard to get to them at first. other than that, it was great. loved the poached egg on both plates. read more

Phew I'm famished! To start off I took my Darling to the mall to walk around and window shop for fun, and eventually ended up getting hungry and couldn't decide on what to eat So eventually we compromised and got some food from Saucy Asian. My Darling got the Saucy Asian Bowl and I went with the Seoul Cheesesteak. The food was surprisingly good, a little on the high end since it's in a mall. It didn't take long to get our food either, and the cashier was pretty nice. Of course this is in a mall so don't expect a lot of empty seats on a weekend around lunch We didn't get any drinks from SA because we got Jamba Juice beforehand. The two large white gummies definitely hit the spot! After all the walking and food in our bellies, we went back to her apartment to digest and rest up for tonight. read more

First time trying and it was pretty good. Tired the island Asian poke bowl, it was fresh, full of flavor. Went on a Wednesday afternoon/ dinner time, wasn't too crowded and plenty of seating. Went there last night. Had the cali burrito with spicy chicken, quesadilla, potstickers, rice cake, and a vegetarian bowl. Everything was very yummy. Portions are very generous. I couldn't finish so had to take a to go box. The service is very nice too. Will recommend and will be going back to try other dishes. Lots of selections for vegetarians too. read more

Stopped by this place since I was near Great Mall a couple times and each time, the food has been absolutely AMAZING! The flavors all meld together so well, and it's never too much or too overwhelming and rich. It definitely stands out in comparison to all of the other food court foods. They're quick to prepare the food and it comes out very hot still! So, if you order ahead, then I think it would still be hot and delicious by the time you eat it. 10/10 recommend, especially if you're not feeling the typical mall food that's over there. read more

Oh my goodness, the food was absolutely amazing! The portions were just right, and I was so full even after only eating half. I had the spicy chicken with half greens and rice. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, not too spicy. The staff were super sweet and super quick, which was a huge plus! The overall look was so aesthetically pleasing that it really drew me in. I got something called the "Saucy Asian style bowl", and the bowl was really good and delicious. Given that the restaurant is inside the mall the ambience is always full and Lively. And I'm happy to have made my first Yelp at this location I also recommend the "try it" section. They have a kiosk for introverts and there is an option to talk to them and they're super open about asking any questions if you had any about how the food works. read more

The bread was super eggy in a good way. first love lychee hibiscus: The drink was tart and refreshing. It did have way too much ice though, about 60% of the drink was ice. We also enjoyed the herbal roasted prime steak with sausage rice. The delicious rice had the taste of fish sauce. Most of the short rib slices were soft and a few were slightly chewy but overall decent quality. Some of the fattier pieces of meat were still attached to the bone.

The dressing tasted well made, it was sweet and savory but the seafood hadn't absorbed the dressing. There were mussels, clams, squid and calamari in it and the balance of flavors was out of proportion. Laksa shrimp fried rice- Good wok hey, chewy mushroom bits and little pineapple bits but shrimp was very hard to find. The addition of egg was nice. Fried chicken with tom yum sauce- Nicely fried very tiny pieces of chicken with 1 tsp of tangy sauce. Good dish. Nothing extraordinary. I would come back for the chicken noodle soup on a cold night!

Everything just worked together -- juicy meat, fresh toppings, and that perfect tortilla wrap. The fries though? Honestly might be my favorite part. Super crispy and seasoned just right. The Saucy Asian Bowl was amazing, packed with fresh veggies, kimchi, slaw, peanut sauce, and I chose shiitake mushrooms as my protein. It had a delicious Korean-inspired flavor.
