I have been on a pho fixation for the past month, and this is one of the better restaurants for it! My boyfriend got the beef bùn (his go to)and he said the meat tasted fresher and the fish sauce cleaner. I did a build your own pho, and got the chicken broth with chicken, mignon, and brisket, it was delicious! I'm floating between 3 and 4 starts per the reasons below. The place is clean and the parking plentiful. It was easy to get a seat and the tables were clean. I think they even had real sriracha! I ordered the Number 1 which is filled with all the good things. It comes with your standard sprouts, basil, jalapenos, and like on a plate to put in. The food also comes out quickly as is pretty standard at Vietnamese restaurants. It's also pretty large for the price ($14). The eggrolls were $10 and came with 4. Solid crunch eggrolls. Nothing wrong with it. My only issue is the broth. I was missing the standard pho broth that you can taste through the noodles and meat. Don't get me wrong, it does taste like pho but when I drink the broth alone, I find myself searching for a lot more flavor. I'm looking forward to trying their bun and banh mi though so we'll definitely be back. As another review stated, it's a good alternative if you don't want to go below the 118 freeway. read more

We were visiting friends in Porter Ranch and after a long day at the pool we were craving pho. I told my wife we probably won't find any good pho in this corner of the valley... I was wrong. Savory Pho saved the day, my picky eaters were satisfied and our weekend ended with a perfect bowl of pho. They have all the fixings and more. Food was ok. Chicken was small and beef lo luc was a little too sweet. Very clean restaurant, staff was very friendly. The only beef I have with this restaurant is this They put customers used water cups stack on top of the water pitcher. The guy behind the counter takes the dirty glass put it aside , refill the pitcher and snap the lid back on. Didn't bother washing the lid. I find that a little disturbing since we pour the water out of the lid straight into our cups. I stopped by here with my sister family last night after my nephew basketball practice. It was a great choice because the weather was cold and the place was nearby. There are tons of parking here so you won't have any issues because it's in a Amazon Fresh plaza. When we walked in, we were seated right away and given the menu. I got the Beef bun me, my nephew got the chicken pho and my sister got their bun bo hue soup. The pho and soup came out quick, my bun mi was the last dish to come out. I really enjoyed my beef bun mi, the bread was so soft and the beef was delicious. I would've hope they added more carrots and vegetables but it was fine. My nephew and sister loved their dish since they come here every Friday night. The customer service we received was amazing, they constantly checked up on us and asked how was the food. This is not an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. They only have one size bowl of pho and it's $14. Next time I would not get the pho here because the broth wasn't hot enough and I ordered Pho Tai but the meat was already cooked when it came out, not raw with hot broth poured on top to cook the meat. The spring roll was mostly noodle but the peanut sauce was tasty. The eggrolls were a little mushy. It was not busy but the waiter did not come back to refill our water. Super glad we stopped by here!! We drove down from NorCal to visit friends in the area and decided to have lunch here. Service was fast, food was delicious, very nice contemporary decor and prices were reasonable. They even had a mamba themed restroom! I had the marinated chicken and Vietnamese crepe because I don't eat beef or pork. Loved how the chicken skin was crispy as well as the crepe wrap. Stopped by a month ago for the opening. They had a dragon performance that was awesome. Never saw that up close. It was exciting! I recently saw some videos posted on IG and I started craving some Vietnamese food. I went back on a mission for some bahn mi. They didn't have this during the opening in July so I was happy to see they now have it. Now remember this isn't a bahn mi that you would get at a fast food spot like lee's or sandwich express. This is a restaurant style bahn mi and it didn't disappoint. The bread was perfect. Slighty crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. High quality ingredients. I would definitely order this again if I'm not craving a big bowl of pho. I got to speak to the owner who said he spent a lot of time trying to find the right bread so that's why there was a delay on having it available. We live close by to this establishment. We eagerly waited for its opening from the moment their sign went up. We eat Vietnamese food all the time but our go to place is in Simi Valley. We want something close by that we could frequent regularly. We happened to be in the business next door and saw that there were finally opened. Was not really hungry but decided to go in to support their opening. There are 3 dishes we normally try to compare Vietnamese restaurants. 1. House Pho - this one was delicious. The soup was savory and the portion was good. 2. Vermicelli dish - we ordered this with grilled pork and egg roll. The egg roll wrap is not the authentic Vietnamese kind so it was negative points for us. The wrap makes a difference, otherwise it's just like a Chinese egg roll. 3. Banh Mi sandwich - this was on the menu but was not available. Service was okay. The prices are higher but that's understandable for the location since the rent is likely higher. The person serving you is the only person that can print your bill so we had to wait until they were done with another customer to get our check. This is not an efficient method. They add a 9.5% processing fee charge to your bill! This is on top of the tip. We didn't notice it until we left. I tried to call the number in their receipt to inquire what it was about but I only get full voice mail box. It would have been better if they just increase their prices instead of sneaking that in to the bill at the end. This really disappointed us. It's deal breaker for us. Hence the 1 star only. Won't be going back anymore due to this. We really want this play to succeed and hoped it'll be our go to Pho place. I hate to give them low ratings but hoping this review will prompt them to make changes and improve. *** Upping my rating since Sean clarified the processing fee charge. We were excited that a new pho place was going to be right in our neighborhood. It may have been because we went on grand opening day but not sure that we will be quick to return. There was a lot of new wait staff that did not seem to be properly trained and overall seemed to be very disorganized. My husband and I dropped by for lunch and we ordered a spring roll, a pho and a noodle plate. We waited for some time and noticed that the customers who came at after us received their spring rolls right away. We waited about 15 min more and finally received our appetizer. The spring roll tasted good with a unique peanut sauce. Next was our entrees - we waited almost an hour before the pho came out. We asked one of the wait staff to check on the order around the 30 minute mark but we waited patiently knowing that they just opened. As I was completing my pho, my husband's noodle plate never even came to the table. We asked a few different wait staff to check on the order but by then, my husband just requested to cancel the order because it was apparent that it was not going to arrive. The other 4 times, I've ordered my food to go. 3 of the 4 times my food was fresh and piping hot when I got home. However, the last time I got my food home, the beef for the pho was somewhat frozen and it resulted in lukewarm broth. The chicken pho was excellent as always.
