Prices were at a price point that we expected far better than was delivered and larger portions would be a start. The French Fries were really good. Seafood must not be their specialty. So far the only actual gumbo I've had in Alabama is at Tamara's Downtown in Fairhope, AL. I ordered the fried grouper finger and shrimp basket which was decent tasting but a smaller portion size. On another visit I sampled their cheeseburger and it had decent sized meat patty on it with some good flavors. I also had the key lime pie for dessert which was alright and pretty par for the course and very similar to most of the other key lime pies I've had in the area. The service was alright but they did a take a bit longer to refill my iced tea than I would have preferred. Overall this is a cool spot to visit and they have a nice variety of options although I can't recommend the "gumbo" Alabama soup.
