One of my old favs finally revisited. Been to the locations in Boca Raton, Ft Lauderdale, Bradenton and Orlando but first time in Tampa. It did not disappoint. We were seated right away in bar booth as requested. Ordered a lovely bottle of Lake Sonoma cab and dined tapas style on mushroom flatbread, tuna tartare and lump crab stuffed shrimp. The meal was excellent as well as our server. We finished off with turtle cheesecake and raspberry cream desserts in a shot glass. Seasons 52 is always a healthy indulgence. read more

Seasons 52 is a chain that I have been to in both MA and FL. It is consistent in both food and ambiance. The mushroom flatbread was excellent, light and crispy with large flavorful mushrooms. I would order this again. The mushroom bisque left me a bit underwhelmed. The crème was chunky and didn't come together with the bisque. Someone else at the table ordered the butternut squash which came with mushrooms on top, that would have been a nice touch on the mushroom bisque. read more

Food - I really enjoyed my half chicken dish, it was juicy and packed with flavour. The accompanying veggies and mash potato paired well. My tuna starter was delicious, and reasonably priced. For a better than average lunch or dinner, I would recommend this restaurant. Service was up to standard and our hostess was very helpful. The ambience is okay. It's not my favorite setup, it feels kind of dingy and dark inside, but some people may really like this setup. We opted to sit outside. read more

This was my first time eating at Seasons 52. We arrived as a party of 5 with reservations on a Saturday evening. The restaurant appears very upscale but we felt the prices were reasonable. I ordered the Grilled Artichokes with Hummus for an appetizer. For dinner I ordered the Wood Grilled Tenderloin Salad. My husband ordered the Mushroom Soup which I tried. Everything I put into my mouth was delicious!!! I would go weekly just for the salad!! After we were finished with dinner our server approached with a tray of desserts. They were small glasses filled with all kinds of miniature cakes. We didn't try any because we were going back to my son's house for dessert. But they did look amazing. The service was on point and I felt like I was dining at a high end restaurant. The menu at this restaurant changes with the season which is pretty cool. Had an amazing dinner to celebrate Father's Day. We started out with the Tomato Flatbread, which had wonderful flavor and could tell the tomatoes were fresh. As always Seasons 52 is an exquisite place to dine. The tables are far enough apart to make you feel that it is only you and your party there. Each season they change some items on the menu while keeping some of their favored specials. I tried the tuna salad this time. The greens were delicious as was their dressing. (I even asked for more). The tuna was perfect. I loved the addition of slivered nuts, watermelon radishes, sweet red peppers, and mango chunks. read more

The food was great (spare ribs, flatbread, bruschetta) and the drinks were delicious. We sat at the bar and the bartenders did an excellent job providing space for us to talk, and also engaging with us at the appropriate times. The ambiance is beautiful with high ceilings, large windows facing the waterfront, and an elegant appeal. On that note, enjoy dessert and take a short stroll along the waterfront to digest. Always wants to try Seasons 52 so I took my wife here for her birthday dinner. Got seated right away at a table in the bar area. I not bring too hungry I ordered the meatball appetizer and an entree accompaniment of grilled scallops as my meal. There were 3 large meatballs, porcini-dusted veal, pork, grass-fed beef, tomato-basil sauce, brick oven bread. The scallops were grilled to perfection and very tender and buttery. This was always our go to spot for many years. The wait staff has always been kind and friendly. The food has always been top notch. This past 2 times we have come in the food has been terrible, the wait staff doesn't seem to either care or just lack customer service skills. The manager Daniella was friendly, but everything else was the equivalent of what you would expect from Olive Garden or Red Lobster. Coming to Seasons 52 meant you were dining with important people in Tampa and you could have your car valet parked and people knew your name. Not anymore, it is just a place now that is next to a Mall. Such a shame but you have lost a long time couple. read more

Wife decided to surprise me for a bday brunch today and luckily this was the spot! Very clean and nice inside! I love a good dinner atmosphere for a nice sit down meal and that's exactly what you get here. Lamb loin was my choice with a side of scallops. Wifey decided to go for the salmon. Ive been going to Seasons52 since 2006. It isn't what it used to be. Restaurant presentation and cleanliness have seen a severe deterioration over that time. On my very first night living in Westshore, I walked over to Seasons 52 for dinner with my friend. We both got stood up on dates, so we sat at the bar and began talking to our bartender about what happened. She turned our night upside down so that we forgot why we were even sad in the first place! She spoiled us with free shots and desserts from the cutest dessert tray I have ever seen. I enjoyed the BBQ shrimp flatbread as my main dish, and I am constantly craving it. After attending meetings all morning I was starving and looking for a good lunch. I stoped into Seasons 52 because I saw it from the road and they had easy parking. I started with the shrimp and crab stuffed mushrooms. They took a little longer than expected to come out but my server was very apologetic and attentive. When selecting my entree I was trying to decide between 2 dishes and she said the salmon was way better so I took his suggestion. I forgot that Seasons 52 is a pretty healthy restaurant. The mushroom had broccoli as a filler, which was unexpected but I enjoyed them. I did have to add salt and pepper but they were tasty. I ordered the salmon cooked medium well and it was cooked perfectly. I asked for an extra grilled lemon which added the perfect amount of citrus to both the fish and the green beans. read more

My wife and I consider ourselves foodies and love dining out at least twice a week. Based on last night's experience, I'd give our meal a solid 4.6 out of 5. We dined at Season 52, one of our favorite restaurants, at 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday, right before the busiest time of the evening. Overall, the meal was excellent--except for one new seasonal entrée: the wood-grilled wild Alaskan halibut. Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest, I know what well-prepared halibut should taste like. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark. It was overcooked and lacked the vinaigrette it was supposed to have. While still edible, it didn't meet 52's usual standard of excellence. I ended up adding some salt, which helped, and the fish was fresh, but it could have been much better. The biggest disappointment wasn't just the dish itself but the missed opportunity to address it. Our server was friendly and mostly attentive, but she only checked on us once--right after delivering the food--to ask how everything looked. She never returned to see how our meals actually tasted, so I never got the chance to politely mention the issue. That said, everything else was fantastic. The other entrées at our table were spot on: Sesame chicken salad Shrimp and grits 6 oz filet Each dish was perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. For appetizers, we had the Philly cheesesteak flatbread and the shrimp & crab-stuffed mushrooms--both were outstanding. Our server was kind and generally attentive, but a simple follow-up after we started eating would have made the dinner perfect. Despite the minor hiccup, we'll definitely be back! read more

We were invited to accompany another couple to dinner. We were seated in the bar as it was a little bit more quiet, and we could converse. I have been to Seasons 52 in Orlando, but the one in Tampa did not meet my expectations. We ordered appetizers, entrées, wine, sides, and dessert. Frankly, there wasn't one item on the table that was anything special. I understand that the restaurant specializes in healthy options for dining. But the food was devoid of flavor. We ordered a side of mac & cheese, it was not only cold, but had no discernible cheese attached to the pasta. The chicken was bland and over cooked. It was a very busy Saturday and so perhaps the kitchen was overwhelmed. I didn't take a picture of any of the food. I don't believe anyone finished their entrées. The service was outstanding, but sadly great service can't make up for lack luster food. Maybe we'll give it another try, but with so many outstanding options in the Tampa Bay area, unless I were a tourist staying in the near vicinity, I would probably opt for somewhere else. read more

It was my first time here and my party and I had an amazing experience, with the help of Ariyan and the manager, Danielle. We came on a Wednesday night because it was my friend's birthday and she had the best birthday dinner because of them. We sat outside because we had a dog but the parking lot power was off so the patio lights couldn't turn on so the manager gave us a great space inside to dine in. Let me start by saying service, Matt, was great! Unfortunately the food not so much. We split a Caesar salad which was a tiny and the dressing meh. I ordered sea bass which was cooked perfectly, but had a slightly fishy smell. It came with a teriyaki glaze which made the smell even more concerning. My date ordered the 8 oz steak medium rare. This place is still at all time classic I have never been to this location until recently. The food is great. The service is excellent here. The wine list is extensive. Thanksgiving was unacceptable compared to other years. The turkey was dry and shaped like processed slices unlike the fresh carved turkey slices in the past. The sides were small and the stuffing was doughy unlike other years. Trying to get extra gravy was like pulling teeth. By the time you receive it, the food is cold. The desert was pumpkin shot glass instead of being offered other flavors like the past. We didn't go last year because we cooked but have gone their several yeats in a row and it was great.
