    Bone in ribeye!
    Sheri B.

I've walked past The Capital Grille so many times when going into the mall and never ventured in. My anniversary came around (32 years) and I made a reservation. From start to finish we were blown away. The staff was spectacular and anticipated our needs before we even knew we needed it, without us feeling hovered upon. The restaurant is beautiful and upgraded elegance. The drinks were spot on delicious and where do I even start with the food. The steak was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The lobster tail was large and delicious. Don't miss out on the overall experience of The Capital Grille. We will be back:)

The bone-in ribeye here is pure excellence. Perfectly seared with a deep, flavorful crust, juicy and tender inside with that ideal medium-rare pink. Rich, beefy flavor that stands out without needing much sauce--just pure, high-quality steak done right. Service was sharp, the atmosphere classy and comfortable, and the whole experience felt special. This is easily one of the best ribeyes I've had in the Tampa area. Highly recommend.

This is the second time that I've done a work meeting at the capital Grille. II had the fillet it was cooked perfectly and I probably could've cut it with a butter knife. That's how tender it was. The mashed potatoes were delightful. Service was spot on the only thing I could complain about is the bread was kinda hard but other than that, it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it.

Had a phenomenal time this afternoon at Capital Grille for my Fathers Day brunch. I'm not much for breakfast foods so the fact that they do their dinner menu all day is what sold me to pick this place. 11:30 am and eating lamb chops and scallops! It doesn't get much better than that. Paired with Brussel sprouts and gratin potatoes mwuahhh the perfect meal! The mimosas were top tier as well. But what really shined through for me was our waitress Siobhan. She was on top of everything and made this visit very memorable for me! As usual pics below!

One of the best steaks of my life! And I hate to give such high praise to a chain restaurant but I cannot lie. The sliced filet mignon with onions, mushrooms, and fig reduction was pure perfection. We also loved the Lobster Mac & Cheese side dish, which could be a meal on it's own. Superb flavor and texture, plenty of lobster chunks. Great bread services, we split the Beet & Goat Cheese salad. Very large portion and fresh tasting, yummy citrus vinaigrette. My husband really enjoyed his Kona crusted NY strip steak. Of course a pricier experience, but well worth it. Jason, our server, was the epitome of what fine dining service represents. Classy steakhouse decor - nothing out of the ordinary.

Went to lunch with my adult children as we got together when my daughter had business there. I chose CG because it is a safe bet for a somewhat picky crowd. I rarely order red meat in a restaurant because there are things that I like better, but after reading the reviews, I knew I had to try their steak frites and it was outstanding. Perfectly cooked and tender and who doesn't like duck fat fries?? The Caesar salad was quite good , but the shaved pandano cheese was a little extreme. Easy solution, but there was enough cheese present for at least three more salads. The cheeseburger was also good. Not great, but good. The dish voted best were the beef tenderloin sliders! Talk about melt in your mouth! The herb aioli was delicious. Clam chowder and lobster bisque was also had. I did not try them, but I heard no complaints. The best part of the meal was the lovely Ashley, our server. She knew we don't often have the opportunity to all gather at the same time so she gave us space to chit chat and did not rush us at all. She was knowledgeable about every single dish, had a remarkably warm, yet sincere attitude and just fit right in with our sometimes quirky requests. I highly recommend you ask for her if stopping in for lunch. A nice time was had by this mama!

I'm honestly surprised I haven't reviewed The Capital Grille yet, it's one of those places that's consistently excellent and never disappoints. The Wagyu beef is the standout every time: incredibly tender, perfectly cooked, and full of rich flavor. It's the kind of dish that reminds you why The Capital Grille has the reputation it does. The seared salmon salad is another favorite, beautifully seared salmon with a fresh, well-balanced salad that feels both indulgent and light at the same time. The French onion soup is a comfort food perfection. Deep, savory flavor with just the right amount of cheesy goodness. From the food to the service, The Capital Grille delivers a polished, classic steakhouse experience that's always worth the visit. Somehow I missed reviewing it until now, but consider this long overdue and well deserved.

We went after a wedding ceremony to the Capital Grille located in the International Mall in Tampa. This is a visit to the same restaurant name, in a different location, in a month. How did they do here compared to the one in Orlando? I have to say their staff- from the hostess stand to the waiting staff and everyone with whom I came in contact was absolutely friendly, professional, and helpful. That was the case across the board. The ambiance at this location seems livelier at the bar where they have tv screens and one is able to choose, on a first come first serve basis, a high top or a seat at the bar. We had some cocktails and appetizers first as you can see in the pictures- we tried the jumbo shrimp served with fresh lemon and cocktail sauce. The cocktail shrimp were fresh and served on ice chips. They are so consistent with their quality, we have never been disappointed with the shrimp. We also tried the Nueske's double cut cherrywood bacon in a Korean bbq glaze. We liked it, but I felt it was paired with a bbq sauce that completely overshadowed the bacon. It felt too salty and the bacon was unusually fatty. As the rest of our party began to arrive, we moved to our reserved table where we sampled more appetizers and ordered dinner. The Jumbo lump crab cocktail was top notch, served with fresh lemon perfectly chilled and also a lovely quality and generous size. We tried their Pan-fried calamari with hot cherry peppers - we had a young guest in our party so the waiter considered to order this with the peppers mostly to one side so we could have a choice (this starter has a kick to it). Nice touch! Our group had several cocktails and the one that stood out was The Dolí- this is Capital Grille's signature martini featuring Wheatley American Craft vodka infused with Dole pineapple- it's chilled and served straight up! Loved it; it has a playful name especially for the area. I had my usual glass of chilled Moët et Chandon and others in our party had Dirty Martinis. The bar team was so consistent in their cocktails, we loved and appreciated that as well. For dinner, we tried their filet mignon, the dry aged bone in NY strip steak, and I had the Sesame seed encrusted Tuna served on a gingered rice. The table shared mashed potatoes and Lobster Mac-n-cheese. All our mains were served and plated with care at the right temperature, perfectly cooked to order (terms) steaks. The restaurant was busy but the staff did an excellent job in keeping the service flowing in a timely fashion it did not feel rushed nor distractingly slow. It was perfectly timed. We closed with the classic Crème Brûlée with seasonal berries. Their fruit was fresh and ripe, the caramelized sugar- perfectly brittle and topping a creamy custard; just divine! We love and prefer this location to the Millenia Mall in Orlando. We will be back- Capital Grille in Tampa- you win every time!

What can you say about Capital Grill other than amazing. From the time you enter and the service that you receive it is always a pleasant experience. We started with two glasses of wine while we waited for our entrées and shareable's to arrive. The salmon was melt in your mouth delicious as was the New York strip steak. The Brussel sprouts have large pieces of bacon and the mashed potato that were extremely creamy. The wines were delicious. Overall, always an amazing visit.

Went for Valentine's Day. Wonderful fine dining experience. Easy online reservations. Welcoming hostess. Professional waitstaff. Filet was cooked to perfection. The potatoes were buttery and complimented the steak well. The cheesecake was very rich, enough to share.

Upscale, classy, and a vibe! I always have a great time here! I definitely recommend the blackberry sidecar! I get mine with Hennessy instead of bourbon. Of course, i almost always grab a nice juicy steak and side if I have the chance! Service is lovely. Definitely stop by!

    Seafood Tower

Not just steaks! I love the steaks at the capital grill but they also have amazing seafood like this tower of oysters, shrimp, crab meat, lobster and a variety of sauces. We also love the bread basket it comes warm with brown raisin bread, flat bread, onion Focaccia and other rolls. Valet parking starts at 5 pm. Indulge!

Fantastic! Was taken there for my birthday and was surprised with free desserts. Bone-in ribeye Steak was amazing and enjoyed the potatoes au-gratin immensely. Calamari was delicious as well.

Disappointed about it no longer being 50% but just wish it was advertised more clear on social media/at the restaurant/online. Anyways, the restaurant is very cute and I like the shaded outdoor area. We ordered some wine, beer, and pizzas. My fiancé enjoyed the beers and my wine was not very good but the cheapest glass so I wasn't expecting much. We ordered Price's House and the fig & prosciutto pizza - both were $19 which is not crazy expensive but Price's House imo is overpriced. The crusts are thin and crispy on these pizzas if that's your style. Price's house was pretty average, salty from the salami, not enough mozzarella (some pieces didn't have any), not much flavor to it. The pizza is not bad by any means but nothing special and overpriced imo. Could get better pizza elsewhere for that price. The Fig & Prosciutto was OUTSTANDING. So much flavor, sweet and salty, fresh from the arugula, all-around 10/10. Would recommend this one to anyone debating which pizza I would have rated this place a 3/5 but that fig & prosciutto pizza really carried it home and made it seem like they have pretty good food and I just ordered the wrong thing. I would def be willing to try this again!

What a lovely surprise! It's kind of hidden on Bay Street. It's behind the Restoration Hardware Gallery. You'll see the outdoor patio area on the left as you're exiting the food court. In fact, that appears to be the main entrance (or it was that day). There's another entrance next to the Shake Shack as well. The interior is very reminiscent of bistros in various parts of Europe. It's somewhat dark & moody with warm wood furnishings. The wine/coffee bar is the focal point. The seating is comfortable & diverse. There are also large tables set up for groups of people. It's definitely a great meeting place after a day of shopping. It's also great for couples on a date. I was the first one there that afternoon, and had my pick of tables. They have such a great wine list. I already knew what I wanted thanks to the great descriptions on the menu. The white wine flight is a pick of any 3 from the menu. I had a generous pour of a few French Sauvignon Blanc wines and a Blanc de Franc. It was my first time trying the latter white Cabernet Sauvignon. What a treat! I loved all 3, but my absolute favorite was the one from Domaine Doudeau-Léger. The service here was wonderful. Nina gave me some great suggestions when I asked about the toasts. I ended up choosing the Wild Truffled Mushroom one. It was delicious! The mushrooms were the star of the show. The subtle hint of truffle really brought out the natural flavors. I totally recommend this one. If you're a mushroom lover, there's a mushroom & pea soup that was also recommended. I couldn't leave without dessert. I think my only disappointment was that they didn't have the croissants ready. The Crème Brûlée one is popular as well as the Basque Burned Cheesecake. It would have taken an additional 30 minutes. I ended up getting the Pistachio Ricotta Cake. It turned out to be a good decision because the croissant would have been too filling for me. This cake was perfectly light and paired very well with the cappuccino. They serve Kimbo Italian espresso for all you coffee lovers out there. Even the small detail of having a delicious Italian biscotti cookie bite in the spoon was the perfect ending for me. I'm looking forward to more visits. Hopefully, I'll get to try that croissant dessert that everyone raves about. They serve brunch on the weekends. That's what I want to try the next time I'm at International Plaza.
