Tipperari Bon Bono's. They are friggin' awesome!

I stopped by to pick up a couple of Tipperari's for my mom. Ruby E. was at the counter, ready to help. She told me that the Tipperari's were the sample of the day and had, unfortunately, run out. She went to double check and to my delight, handed me a couple sample bags that had been overlooked. I really appreciate the excellent customer service provided by Ruby. It is associates like her that make me always go to the Sunnyvale See's whenever awesome sweets are in need. Please give her my thanks.

I loved the crunch of the kataifi threads and the pistachio filling. I decided to buy a piece of the FrischSchoggi Dubai Milk Chocolate. I also decided to buy a few pieces of the mini mousses. I picked the orange chocolate for myself and the hazelnut for my husband. Jose boxed both mini mousses in a cute little box. I really appreciate the customer service I received from Jose. He took his time with me and answered several questions I had about the mini mousse chocolates. We tried our chocolates after dinner and they were so good. I would definitely buy the mini mousses again as well as the FrischSchoggi Dubai Milk Chocolate.

I've returned more than five times because these cookies are one of the best things to bring to events. My favorite so far is their cookies and cream flavor, but I always enjoy their weekly flavors. The option to buy day-old cookies for less is much appreciated, and you can't even tell they were baked the previous day. The chocolate chip cookies are similar to Levain's since it's a thick and gooey cookie loaded with lots of chocolate chips. They only sell their cookies in packs of 4, and they also have milk in their little fridge. Since I can't eat all the cookies in one sitting, I like to freeze the rest and preheat them in the oven for that freshly baked cookie vibe. They're tucked away in an unassuming little building behind a gas station, but there's ample parking.

Cant wait until they have actual brick and mortar outlets.. A bag of roasted beans from the factory is something people usually have to shell crush and sugar to make it palatable. After feasting in Coyoacan Market, we were walking around the little park (artist market) right across the street and ran into this small chocolate shop: 'ki XOCOLATL. The quality of chocolate blew me away. (this coming from someone that fly's to Belgium and Paris once a year (mostly to bring back chocolate truffles). They have your delicious traditional dark & milk bars and truffles, but they also do some REALLY interesting flavors with Mexican touches such as spices and chile, which I normally would not go for. However, given a free sample I tasted it and was totally surprised. I would say this is a MUST if you find your self in this area. But MOST importantly, you must try the HOT CHOCOLATE (traditional) which is a blend only made there. It is not the THICK consistency of French hot chocolate nor is it the watered down version we get in the US. It is something in between. They take there chocolate and add their own spices there at that shop - so take a seat, and enjoy it there. Note: DO NOT go to the location it Colima - this location is tiny, and only sells the chocolate bars, they do not sell the truffles or the proprietary hot chocolate blend there.... it seems to be a tiny independent shop that only sells the chocolate bars. I also bought the powders chocolate to try to replicate it back home. and brought back a jar of their own mole chocolate so I can try make chicken mole back home with it. Hope you are fotunate enough to make it there one day!

They have a large kiosk inside Valley Fair Mall. I do believe they will be moving in the future into a larger location in the mall and have their own storefront. They had so many boxes of chocolates and chocolate bars nicely organized and displayed. It was hard to decide what to get. The young lady behind the counter helped me make that decision. I wanted to try a few of the chocolates but they did not have samples for the items I was interested in. That didn't stop me from making a purchase. I'm a huge fan of orange and chocolate. My husband loves chocolate and hazelnut, as do I. The sales lady showed me the Prafeuille chocolate orange box and the hazelnut cream chocolate wafers. What I liked about these varieties, was that each chocolate treat was individually wrapped. I decided to buy a box of each of these. Checking out was fast and easy. I really appreciated the help I got from the sales lady I already know what I'm going to buy the next time I come back to shop at Royce. Both my husband and I tried the chocolates. The orange chocolate is a small thin milk chocolate squares filled with an orange sauce. It's absolutely delicious. I loved it. The hazel cream chocolate wafer is hazelnut cream sandwiched between crispy wafers dipped in chocolate. That was also very good. My husband loved it. Overall, we both loved their chocolate. It's very good quality chocolate with some unique flavor combinations. The customer service was great. I only wished they offered samples of all their offerings so you can try before you buy. I'm looking forward to trying their orange chocolate truffles next time.

The space feels super cozy and service was friendly. They even mentioned their Burnt Almond Cake has always been their bestseller. First bite tasted heavenly. This had more stronger almond and Italian rum flavor and I was pleasantly surprised by the sugared almond slivers coating. The custard was absolutely generous, creamy, and divine. I'd say Peter's Bakery is more traditional, but more fluffier while Sugar Butter Flour has a more modern twist and is slightly sweeter. Their version definitely has more custard, which I personally enjoy... but this may be too sweet for the older Asian parents family. We called in and the worker confirmed there are supposed to be two layers of custard in the Burnt Almond and advised me to email the owner so they could make it right. Look at the next photo. How do you as an owner - instead of simply admitting this was a rushed, dry, and unleveled cake - tell me in one message that the recipe changed because other customers had been complaining about too much custard but that you would be returning back to the original recipe? What am I, 5 years old? Just own up and say someone messed up and you'll keep the quality of your products up - but I guess that's hard to do when you ignore your long timecustomers and already got $70 for a cake that's 95% bread.
